The entire line is pretty cool, but this one goes a bit above. Boo giving chase, the interaction with Dry Bones and the epic battle with Bowser are all well engineered. A great way to complete the LEGO Super Mario set... for now!

I grew up in the first Mario generation and now that he is 5, he has discovered the same love I had. Worth every penny.

The app on iPad is amazing for build instructions! Didn't know if they'd like it, but they love it! Great way to get the younger ones into Legos!

The set is a little expensive but it has a lot of different pieces that can make the building very enjoyable for kids 8-12 years old

Only suggestion is you pickup or get it shipped to store. The box came damaged since Best Buy doesn’t double boxed for shipment.

Be sure to get the Mario starter kit too. This one came first and was fun, but it is at a whole different level of fun with Mario.

She was able to complete about 97% on her own. This ser is for 8+ years, but she was able to build it by her self.
