This unit was purchased to replace a Samsung unit that died after only 13 years. This LG unit is really nice. It has a door in door with a view of the door contents without opening the unit. The temperature of both the refrigerator and freezer reached the set point quickly (a few hours) as apprised to the 2 days that our old unit took to reach temperature. I was concerned that the temperature of the door-in-door shelves would not be the same as the main compartment so I placed thermometers on the shelves and let them sit over night. As it turned out the door-in-door shelves were about 5 deg F warmer than the rest of the frig. So a setting of 35 F resulted in door shelf temp of about 40 F. This was ok for cheese, butter and beverages. There are only 2 in our household so leaving milk in the door did not seem like a good idea and we put the milk in the main compartment. The air circulation and humidity control are excellent. Fruits and vegetables stayed fresh and crisp for longer than we were used to. The deli tray was convenient but it could have used a couple of dividers for better organization. This unit had the black stainless steel finish which is really a dark gray instead of black. On disappointment wa that the doors were not magnetic so my wife had to find other places to post pictures of the grandkids. The freezer was a 2 drawer one and froze food quickly. The ice maker was hidden in the left door and made ice quickly, 3.5 lbs/day as the specs indicated. There is a tray in the freezer if you want to have a larger amount of ice but you have to manually dump the food ice into the tray. The freezer did not have an ice maker. In this model you can only have a second ice maker if you have a one drawer freezer. The one ice maker makes plenty of ice for our needs. This unit was wifi enabled. The ThinQ app allows you to view and set the temperatures and alerts you when the door is left open. Other than that it is not really worth it. The app allows you to inventory your food and alerts you to expiration dates. A task that would certainly be very time consuming. Having the ability to scan the food item bar codes would make this feature usable. All in all it’s a nice unit. It now remains to be seen if it will last more than 10 years.

Very attractive fridge with several handy features. We love the door-in-door feature and use it all of the time. We store our milk and creamer and a few other often used items there for quick access. The water/ice dispenser is large enough for our sports bottles. Doors, shelves and drawers seem to be of good quality. We love the double freezer drawers. They help to keep everything organized and in sight. I would have given it 5 stars, but the front doors do not line up! Even with adjusting them as indicated in the user manual there is still a very visible misalignment that drives me crazy. I found that one door hinge was mounted incorrectly and can’t be moved. I think that for this much money the doors should be aligned and look nice. Best Buy didn’t give me a problem with exchanging the fridge, but after an attempted delivery appointment and several changed rescheduled appointments almost 2 months of going back and forth with Best Buy I still don’t have my replacement. The new date is 10/21. We’ll see if it arrives with level doors!

I love my new refrigerator! I did my research I read the reviews on different models & Brands. I finally settled on this one. I wasn’t too sure about the door in door but I love it! And my grandkids love knocking on the glass to turn the light on and see what’s in there lol. The only thing that I wish I was a little different is the light because the light is in the very front of the refrigerator when you open it so the back is not as Bright as I wish it was. Other than that it’s quiet. It makes enough ice for us. One of the reviews that I read was that the doors weren’t aligned correctly. So I had the delivery guys make sure that the doors were aligned Before the delivery guys left. I love the two freezers I use the top one for things that we use frequently and the bottom one right now has two turkeys in it and other items and there’s still room. So I believe you have to do your research read the reviews and then just go for it! Of course I’ve only had my refrigerator for about a month and a half so far so good!

It’s not only the look of the fridge and the stainless steel but it’s the amount of space and the way it’s made everyday use easier with the quick access doors , the shelving the dividers everything on this fridge is great so far! Very quite fridge and nice size for a family of 5! Had to self install due to timing of Best Buy’s curb drop off due to coronavirus and so it was heavy and large where I had to disconnect the handles...Upgraded from a 5 year old fridge

So far so good! We recently got rid of our 12 Year old fridge in favor of this one. We had a fantastic experience working with Brian S from the Joliet IL location who recommended this model for our needs. It's a beautiful appliance in the kitchen and we are blown away at how much space there is inside. It's pretty crazy honestly. We love the front little glass door where we keep our frequent used items too! The only knock I would give it so far is when trying to remove and put back in the shelves inside the front glass door area, it's kinda tough to get them in and out without fear of breaking something It does a great job of cooling and freezing and overall couldn't be happier.

My children love it. They specially love the screen.

pretty good federator I like the color scheme and also the glass panel on the item. It is really nice to look at within a new home. Mandatory purchase if you are interested in the sleep design technology.

Huge refrigerator. This is a great fridge but wishing I would have noticed that it didn’t come with the secondary ice maker like many of these models do. The ice maker is door mounted and doesn’t hold or make very much ice. Make sure you get the one with the freezer mounted ice maker as well. They also make a model that makes round “craft” ice balls. That one is a bit more.

The refrigerator has been designed efficiently to make daily usage easy convenient. Insta door or preview door is awesome to just open the door rack and interact with frequently used items like milk, juices and beer. 2 drawers for the freezer are quite deep and provide ample space for frozen food items and ice creams. The 2 fridge doors open to consolidated shelves from left to right providing enormous space to keep practically anything.

I love this unit. Although there is about a 2 second delay to activate the water ice dispenser, everything else is awesome. Will look into the Linear compressor issue another reviewer described. But it serves our family perfectly. LOVE having the door within the door feature. It was a great concept I admit I thought was stupid initially. Lol. No regrets.

So far so good. I love my spacious fridge. I can’t wait to add storage bins!

Very pretty and elegant with plenty of space we loved it.

We love our refrigerator, especially the feature which allows us to view the contents through the door. This appliance is also very spacious. This is one of the best investments that we’ve made. I will highly recommend this appliance to any and everyone who is in the market for a refrigerator.

I purchased this fridge because our old one started having some cooling challenges. I bought it because of the size and the speed to delivery. However after owning it for a few weeks at this point it is a great fridge. I thought the drink door was kinda gimmicky but after using it I love it and not sure I’d go back much more efficient on the system to not open one of the big doors. Space is ample the ice maker is nice it doesn’t make a lot of ice but there has been very few times that I’ve needed more then a few glasses at a time so it’s okay. Best Buy install was great they were on time communicated properly didn’t scuff or scratch anything and gave a brief walk through of the features and hooked it all up.

Really enjoying this refrigerator. Love the door that partially opens. Lots of space inside since the ice machine is in the door. The unit is quiet. Double freezer helps me stay organized and.know what food I have.

Good refrigerator but over priced. No adjustments for the door shelves, you can adjust the regular shelves, but it will create a very short and deep shelf either on top or on the bottom. Almost too small for anything to fit.

I love that i can see inside without opening the door but my favorite thing is that I only need to open the front panel for frequentlyused items such a creamer. Oh and the black stainless just LOOKS GREAT.

Are refrigerator is so awesome we are in love with the new update and all the room and freezer is on the bottom so we have more room in the top for are milk and condiments 5 stars all the way

This refrigerator is gorgeous , I thought from going from a side by side to this one I’d lose room , I actually can fit more in it especially the freezer and it’s slot easier to get food in and out than side by side . It’s super quiet too .
