    Horrible Washer

This washer is horrible. It vibrates and rattles so much when rinsing. Checked to see if it was unbalanced and there was no issue there. Changed the speed setting and still did the same this. I had it for 2 days and it caused so much damage to my walls and flooring. The washer itself is beautiful and looks elegant, but wash cycles are a horrible experience. This washer vibrates so much the door broke. I would not recommend this washer to anyone.

THIS. Do yourself a favor and invest in an LG front load washing machine. We bought a Whirlpool top load before this one and it made so much noise with the constant back and forth motion the drum made to move the clothing around since there was no agitator. It was nice and Whirlpool is a good brand but LG blows them out of the water, no pun intended. Not only is the LG great at washing clothes, it's also fun to use and to watch. It's incredibly spacious and washing king size bedding, down comforter included, is no problem. The Whirlpool always went unbalanced and then you'd have to have the strength of 10 men to try and lift the soaked bedding around so that it balanced itself. Not with LG front load. Like commercial washers, the tumbling action keeps everything evenly distributed and the friction of rubbing over and over one another gets the clothes incredibly clean! It's also so much quieter than the top load. When it's washing you hardly hear it. The most you hear is the water filling and then the fun chime to let you know it's done. It's got a great app also that lets you check in on the machine to see how much time is left. It will send you a notification when it is done also in case you forgot you put the wash in or are in another part of the house. So many great features for this. It's more expensive but so worth it and you won't regret. It's an investment for something you do many times a week, if not day.

We have had this washer for about a month and so far, so good! It's reliable, easy house and the wash come out clean. I debated about buying such a high capacity washer for just four people, but I love it. I am able to get the laundry done in significantly fewer loads thanks to its high capacity. I also have been washing all our blankets, comforters, etc. Additionally, I love being able to connect the washer to my phone wirelessly because I get an alert every time a load is done, which also enables me to get the wash done in a shorter amount of time.

This is my first front loader and my first experience with LG , and I must say that it is truly an amazing machine. My clothes have never been cleaner and the efficiency of this washer is night and day compared to my old GE top loader. I purchased this washer about a year and a half ago and now I have just ordered the matching gas dryer with steam feature, and I can’t wait to receive it. I recommend if you have hard water like me , invest in some inline water filters for removing sediment and using washer cleaning tablets at least to keep it clean ( both available on Amazon). If you’ve had experience with electrical surges like me, invest in a good surge protector with a very high Jules rating . Download the LG app as well where you can manage your washes and check status of current loads, it’s a very cool app for LG appliances.

Still learning the different functions and how everything works, but I am loving this machine! I only wish it was easier to drain the tub easier with the hose for the maintenance. Tons of space to wash laundry. Love that the dryer stacks on top. Makes my life easier.

Excellent machine, cleans very well. Very quiet, easy to use. The only issue I have with this machine is the door. When shut, it sometimes doesn't shut all the way. You have to close if forcefully. Could have been a better design on the door. Otherwise, very happy.

Came from the previous model with a 5.0 capacity and believe it or not the extra 0.2 cu ft has made quite a difference on load size. I can jam out some major laundry in a hurry with this beast! No complaints! Just does its thing and then sends a notification to my phone when its done and is paired with the dryer to let dryer know what dry cycle to run. Pretty smooth operation and surprisingly enough has all worked pretty seamlessly.

In case you were wondering, this is the washing machine that you've been waiting and searching for. Clothing is not cheap. Some are expensive and an investment! I needed a new washer that would do everything well AND would be gentle on my clothing. It is quiet, has wash cycles that are shorter than most other machines I looked at, and my clothes come out of the machine without the difficult to remove stains and without any knicks or lost buttons. Would buy it again in a heartbeat and would recommend it without hesitation.

So I bought this washer a little over a month ago. Built a pedestal stand for both my washer and dryer to avoid back fatigue. I have a family of 7. 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 kids. I mention this to give you a picture of the wash loads I'm washing. Heavy soiled jeans, lots of towels, white clothes by the bundle, stinky socks and all. I bought this washer as an upgrade to be able to wash less loads but get more done. I was hesitant due to the price and wondered how it would affect my power bill. Well I'm here to compliment this washer and it's features. I saw other reviews that worried about the "cheap contruct" let me tell you light weight materials doesn't mean cheaply made. It is a sturdy washer. If it was any heavier I'd think twice on putting it up on a pedestal. Like that the door is not heavy i tend to leave these front loading washers open when not in use to prevent mildew built up. With a heavy door there's risk of it messing with the alignment of the hinges. Not only are my clothes coming put clean and not soaked when too heavy, but i am actually saving money on the power bill. I used to run washer and dryer all day 5 days a week and could never stay caught up. But now.... oh my gosh i wish i would have done this earlier. The selling point is this pair that i can wash my Minky Couture blanket that is delicate coming out in perfect condition. I've ruined other minkys by washing them in my previous top loader. I risked it on this one and i am not a scared to wash my minky anymore. Bonus is the wifi option to create other cycles. Thanks LG!

Loving this new machine. Wasn't sure about switching to a front loaded but so far so good. It holds way more laundry than my previous machine that I thought was big. Really love that the machine senses the amount of clothes each time and determines and displays the duration of the full cycle. I don't use any of the wifi settings cause I really don't need to receive texts about my laundry being done. Lots of things to like including now I can put things on top of the washer if needed. Concerns - I didn't think about it much before but with a top loader I would sometimes use the water to rinse or clean stains and then drop the clothes in. With a front loader you cannot do this. I just use a sink now if thats needed. Delivery was great and super fast with a helpful two person crew.

We returned it. The buttons in the front are sensitive and were accidentally pressed/activated numerous times. It washed fine. Another thing we didn’t like is the door only opens from right to left.

Washing machine became available for pickup a day earlier. It replace my 17 yr old LG Tromm. Size much bigger the my old washer and wash comforter with no issue. Very quiet even during spin and rinse cycle. It does not move, i installed it myself, just make sure to use leveler and adjust feet for perfect balance.
