I bought the LG TV after the Westinghouse big screen I owned died after less than 90 days. The picture is clear, the apps work seamlessly and the sound is decent quality. I wish that I bought the upgraded model because the remote on here requires more work. By that it takes some time when typing in words to search. I suggest a mini keypad as an accessory. It is helpful for us when using Xbox, YouTube or Netflix search options.

We got the TV at a great price and for a 4K TV it was worth it to purchase. This is my review after a year of owning the TV. 1 - The TV speakers are not great and we had the tv in a corner to help with the sound and it still was subpar. We then bought a sound bar and are much happier with the sound quality. 2 - Picture quality is good considering the price. I have watched some 4k movies, HD movies, and regular upgraded to HD movies. From 4k to HD there are subtle differences and honestly I was expecting more detail in 4K. The upgraded movies look good on it as well like watching 80s movies in better definition, and enjoy the upgraded quality. However, I do want to get an upgraded TV and experience better picture quality this was nice for what we could get at the time. 3- Issues with the apps, I frequently use the Amazon Prime app on the TV and it has caused some issues. When using the Amazon Prime Movies app for over 20 mins the TV will freeze and not take any inputs from the remote other than the power button. Once we restart the TV and the smart service comes back online the Amazon App works again. However, it will periodically freeze and we have to power off the TV again. I have uninstalled that app several times and reinstalled it. The issues still exist ONLY with the Amazon App. Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, and regular cable all have no issues. In Conclusion, If I could give it 3.5 stars I would just for the aggravation with the app. Other than that it's a great TV for the purchase and everyone enjoys watching the big screen at my house.

The LG 60" 7300 model was delivered on time and setup, hooked it up direct to Horizon 30gig fiber for maximum throughput with the new Amazon Fire TV with 4K, my old LG Blueray player, Lenovo laptop with Display Port/HDMI, an old HI8 digital camera, and even a usb harddrive for a 720p movie and all worked flawlessly with exceptional clarity and sound. I also tried the new Google Chrome round dongle but returned it to Costco since the movie sound was garbled and wasn't syncing with the video and couldn't keep up with my laptop. What a pain to setup on the laptop hunting for the Google Apps store. Worked fine with the iPhone 6 though. I tried various apps such as Netflix on both LG supplied apps and Amazon TV apps and I really like both but prefer to use the Amazon TV (easy to setup and very intuitive) with voice control (still learning Alexa with very little hits so she's not responding well so far for me) except for the LG Web OS or with the laptop for surfing the web. All performed flawlessly with no delays or size of display problems. The colors are truly impressive even at 1080p or lower at a distance but emulsified up close. I looked at some GoPro app in 4k via Amazon app and it was very crystal clear even when you got close. The remote was easy to use and the set up was even easier with the display color usually at Standard as optimal or Photo for a little more shaded deeper tone depending on room lighting. I would buy another one, probably smaller 49" size, for another room but decided to wait for the OLED 4k's to come down in price in a couple of years. I got this at a whopping good deal given that I had $375 worth of Best Buy certificates just using my Best Buy credit card and bought it at the intro price of $899 minus $375 a few weeks ago during the Black Friday sales period. Now I see it's at $999. Next is to hook up my new outdoor antenna and see if I can pick up local channels adequately since I live 25 miles away from the towers and need to mount it on the roof for best reception. No more Comcast cable, and everything running on fiber for $30/month and plenty of bandwidth to go around within the family of 5 users who now live on the Internet. The value I'm finding is that I can find apps on Fire TV, esp. new ones that replace DirectTV foreign channels and specific language programming I use to pay $40 each month plus at fraction of the cost or entirely free such as newscasts. I use to pay $110 month for Comscast cable and Direct TV satellite for those two services and now, given all the flexibility for input sources on the TV, I'm impressed that the Internet and the bandwidth is very good to excellent at replacing many of my entertainment programming needs without compromising the quality of transmission. Netflix just announced 4k video at $11.99/month and the Amazon Fire TV is now 4k capable. I'm in Internet heaven and looking forward at finally setting up my photos and videos over the cloud or on my local usb hard drive.

This TV was on sale, and what a great deal it was! I am extremely happy with this TV and even the quality of a basic DVD copy of Lord of the Rings being upscaled to 4K quality being played from my Xbox One. I have zero complaints that I can think of for this high of quality at such a low price. Spend the extra money and buy a 4K TV like this over a basic smart HDTV, you will not regret it! Only gripe I have is the remote can be a little awkward at first but you quickly get accustomed to it. Overall it's an excellent TV to purchase for casual to gaming to sports!

Best Buy had a sale on this device and we had wanted a 4k smart UltraHD and really liked our previous LG devices. Consequently, I purchased this based on our previous good experience at Best Buy and the sale price of the tv. As always the staff at Best Buy could not have been more courteous, friendly and professional. The unit was easy to set up and provides vast opportunities to fine tune both video and audio. We are more than pleased with both the purchase process and the product.

Bought this yesterday so all reviews are fairly brand new. The store never had this model in until now and is sold exclusively right before Thanksgiving. It works good and very very easy to set up. Not sure why rtings website rates the IPS panel screen so low but on this model its viewing angle is awesome. You can see clearly ifrom all angles, you don't have to sit right in front of the t.v. set. However, it is difficult to get exact details on this model. There are no reviews anywhere. Wanting to know what its TRUE Refresh Rate is. Is it a 60? or a 120? I read somewhere that it's a true 60Hz refresh screen. On the store's website it displays it as a 240 which would mean a true 120Hz. The colors are not vibrant and vivid even in the Sports mode, or the VIVID mode like they are on the Samsung. But so far after it being attached for only 24 hours, there are no issues. On some broadcasts, the picture is aweful like you are watching a 1970's tube t.v. but on some others it's a good picture. The 3 USB ports are a plus for an entry level model. Even it's sister 65-inch t.v. on sale right now only has 1 USB port. It is surprisingly heavy. Need 2 people to carry right out of the box. I wish LG Support can answer the question what it's TRUE Refresh rate is on the 7300 model and why this t.v. does not appear anywhere on their website unless you actually have to hunt for it. The sound is good. Better than my Samsung.

Purchased my LG 60UF7300 4K TV the weekend before Thanksgiving, Overall a great picture, (even got rave reviews from my brother-in-law), Now he has the itch for a 4K set. Baketball and Football games are spectacular. Set-up was straight forward but would appreciate more tutorials on-line about the APPS. Sound is acceptable but improved when I run the sound thru my Surround Sound system. Standard remote is clunkey when surfing the WEB. Wish it had come with a Magic Remote like the 7700 model.

Im really enjoying this tv and am very happy with the price i paid 899 early black friday deal. My first 4k tv. Picture quality is amazing especially on blue rays and up scaling regular hd. Non hd stuff looks kinda bad because it is non hd. Football looks great. Only speed issue I've noticed is when im watching basketball as there is some motion blur. Overall im really enjoying watching tv moreso than before i had this model, and im a huge tv nerd. Only negative id give it is the glare you receive from light in the room. I usually prefer watching with my lights off or blinds shut now because of it..no big deal tho. Also as others mentioned you need to adjust the pic settings in order to get a true crisp image and to remove soap opera affect.my pic right now looks WAY better than it did out of the box. Just google the model number and "picture settings" and youll find some forums with posts suggesting adjustments thats what i did and it worked very well. Overall very satisfied. By the way i have DTV and they now offer a 4k box which i have. Theres some free content and stuff u can rent as well. 4k is truly amazing. Even without true 4k stuff its noticably great quality.

I purchased this TV for my parents as gift. They absolutely love it. Picture is terrific and the setup was a breeze. The smart tv features are very easy to use and load quickly. I paired it with an LG sound bar and have 0 regrets on the purchase thus far. LG's are slighlty cheaper than Samsung products, but in my opinion are of the same caliber.

I just got my 60" and I love it it looks great on my wall. The picture is great, the sound is great and the controls are easy. I wish it came with the smart control but the app on the phone kinda makes up for it. Its brand new and it's hanging on my wall. Time will determine if this tv is absolutely the business. Great sale by the way. I wonder about the security though, i'm that guy who is a bit paranoid about being so "connected" to everything. Oh the only, ugh, "negative" thing is the glare. I usually have to dodge certain areas in my living room to avoid reflections. Other than that ME LOVES MI 60.

Bought this at the pre-black Friday price of $900, but waited a bit to take delivery as I wanted to read more reviews and see if a better deal presented itself. Best Buy delivered the set and removed my old one, which was a big factor in the purchase. I have now had the TV for a little over two weeks and am extremely pleased. I did not buy the TV for gaming or teleconferencing - just FIOS TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime. The picture quality is outstanding, even non-HD content. I turned off the TruMotion and have not noticed any issue with motion blur. The sound is more than adequate, but I did purchase an LG sound bar which plugs into the optical input and works flawlessly. I also purchased a Logitech Harmony 650 universal remote control to avoid having multiple remotes lying around. I did play around with the setting a little to get the picture the way I liked - there are plenty of options in that regard. Internet connection was easy to set up and I have had no problems. Netflix and Prime programming are amazing to see. I have zero complaints with this set.

Great picture color. Great slim profile. Great Black Friday price ($899). No picture issues at all. Price was the determining factor choosing the LG set over the comparable Samsung set. Sound is ok, but recommend adding separate surround sound amp/speakers, or soundbar package.

Considering the size and price, this was a great purchase. The picture quality is excellent now that the settings have been customized. Blacks could be blacker and video games suffer from a slight input lag, but for $799 I cannot complain.

We liked our TV, but we can not tell anything with the 4k quality. TV has been working great for the most part. This is our first smartTv and I swear it seems like everyday there is an update. One bad thing is the remote up and down arrows and the Ok button do not work very well. Have to press it really hard to get it to recognize

First, be ready for unacceptably high remote control delay. Perhaps my unit was defective, but it took, at the minimum, more than a quarter of a second before the TV responded to the remote. Typically there was a 1-2 second delay. It literally felt like I was multitasking one too many programs on one of my parent's IBM PCs from the 90s. Besides the clunkiness of the user experience due to the lag between the remote and the tv, picture calibration for multiple inputs was extremely tedious. An "apply to all" function for picture configuration didn't seem to exist. In other words, I had to first configure Standard for PC, then I had to configure Expert for PC and then do this for EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY INPUTS. Combined with the lag from the remote, the result was a very frustrating experience. Configuration which should take 3-4 minutes (once settings are determined by a calibrator) took about 15 minutes. For me, this totaled over 90 minutes to calibrate all the settings for all inputs. While the colors post calibration were satisfactory, the picture unfortunately suffered from poor black levels. In addition, my unit had very very noticeable backlight bleeding. In terms of upscaling, 1080p looked decent although there was a noticeable amount of image softening. This unit produced significant artifacts when upscaling 720p content to native (played a Wii U game with native 720p). I did a side by side comparison with my 60 inch 2013 Panasonic Plasma and was a bit underwhelmed by the end results. To add to the problems above, my particular unit would randomly disconnect from wireless and not get a wireless signal until I factory reset the TV (tech support stated this was a known solution for this issue). Recall the remote control's terrible input lag and the 90 minute configuration time and I think you'll understand my frustration. After the third time I had to reset the unit to get the wifi working again, I decided to return the unit. Quite frankly, I've previously only purchased mid/high end televisions. I was suckered into buying this unit because of the extremely low price and because of the availability of UHD content via Netflix and Amazon. I was left with huge buyer's remorse, but thankfully I was able to return this unit pretty much hassle free. While I ended up with a Samsung JS8500 4k TV, which is about twice the price of this unit but significantly better in every other aspect, I strongly suggest you skip the 4k bandwagon and consider holding onto your older TV (especially if you have a high quality plasma) for another year or two; you're not really missing anything.

Upon seeing an incredible deal on this LG 4K TV, I decided to make the purchase despite my skepticism. I'm not a television expert by any means nor do I know a lot about them. However, I know enough to say that this TV has outperformed any other TV I've ever seen. I'm sure you can purchase a "better" TV and of course a bigger TV, but if you're looking for a really solid television for a reasonable price, this is a sure bet. Big enough to see in detail from across the room, plus having 4K capabilities pretty much future-proofs you as we wait for 4K streaming to become more readily available. A+

This is the one you want. After tons of research, I narrowed it down to this one and I hit the jackpot! Great picture, great sound and great value. This tv replaced a 50" Lg. I was concerned about the sound quality since my 50" sounded terrible. I bought a LG sound bar system to go with this but the sound on the tv is so good that I found I didn't need it. Moved the soundbar downstairs to go with the 50" that now lives in the basement. I like that this tv has such great quality picture that it almost looks real. I actually didn't like it at first because you lose that movie feel during movies. It looks so real that it appears like you are there watching the filming. I found that I can easily put the tv in cinema mode and I get great picture and it takes the edge off of that real feel. Then I switch it back to sports or standard mode when I'm watching something else. This is by far the best quality and value you will find. Great apps too although I'm not much on using apps other than Nextflix. Decent web browser too. Get one, you won't regret it.
