Loved it at first. Have had it for 13 months, the bottom front started rusting around month 10 and the front left burner only stays on high. I called LG and they told me the rust was my fault and I could clean it with baking soda. And to unplug it for a minute and the burner would work again. It did for a day. I am not pulling out my stove to unplug it daily for a functioning burner! That’s ridiculous. Of course I’m one month out of warranty so nothing else they can do. Absolutely disappointed in this purchase. It should NOT be rusting nor should it be malfunctioning especially given its age.

Purchased this stove 2 months ago. A spice bottle fell on it and cracked/chipped the entire cooktop. I had an extended warranty but it was not covered by Geek Squad, so they issued me a refund however I cannot use my cooktop. I cannot get a hold of anyone at LG to see if it is covered under the manufacturers warranty. Their support is lacking and very overwhelmed. I would not recommend an LG product at this point as they cannot support the products they sell. I cannot find the serial number anywhere on the piece of equipment so they can't give me any information or the necessary part number to order so that an appliance repair company can fix it. Super frustrting experience. Do not recommend.

Stains and damage on top from cooking (lol)

The oven is great but I’m having a hard time understanding why the nobs in the front are damaged from what splashes out when cooking. I cannot remove the stains made by the oil which I cleaned right after I finished cooking. Also the top is very very hard to clean. Anything that falls while cooking cannot be immediately cleaned and after then it sticks and it’s a long process to clean. I’ve had it for 1 month and don’t really cook much but when I do this is very stressful and the stove doesn’t look new already. It has damage in the top from cooking. So is cooking not what this is for? Just confused.

    PLEASED SO FAR!

So far I really like my new range. I selected it because I prefer smooth top over gas and I wanted a double oven but my kitchen layout doesn't allow space for a double oven, this is a great alternative. I really haven't experienced any issues with its operation so far. I read many reviews before purchasing and noticed that the biggest complaint was cleaning the glass top. I used to use Weiman's basic glass top cleaner then I read the review of another consumer who recommended Weiman Cooktop Max, I absolutely love it! A glass safe scouring pad comes in the container which is magical and makes cleaning easier. Very few stores in my area carry it; however, I was able to find it on Amazon. I also like the low profile look against my backsplash, which allows better display of my backsplash design behind the stove. I like the large cooking eyes as well. CONS: I wish that the glass top contained individual indicators to show which eye is hot. I also wish that the top rack in the oven had a lip all the way across the rack towards the back of the rack to prevent your pans from falling off the rack.....this is a problem. Be careful, the knobs are very sensitive and turn on if you bump them.

    LG Double Oven...Love it

I waited to review this purchase until I had a chance to use the LG double oven/range for awhile. I love having the double oven to cook multiple oven. Regular oven on top and convention on bottom. Yes, oven space is smaller and it is harder to reach the bottom oven to get items out but I can live with that for the convenience of two ovens. Made a turkey in convention oven and it was the best turkey I ever had. Cooked a 13 pound stuffed turkey in about 3 1/2 hours. Crisp on outside and juicy inside and leftovers were still moist next for next few days. I am still getting used of using convention oven but I am glad I chose this oven. Cons: This glass top takes much more maintenance to keep clean and look nice but I make sure I spend extra time taking care of it after each use as well as the oven. I just bought a kit with the sample cleaner they provided which included the cleaner, razor scraper and polish with a soft cloth after cleaning. I cooked bacon in oven and even with grease splatters, it cleaned up pretty easy with the method they suggested using the water bottle provided. Yes it takes more effort but is worth it. The interior is beautiful. The button on front of stove do turn on if you lean against them accidentally or trying to clean around them sometimes but I always put in lock position when not using. Overall I love my new stove and would buy again.

I had been looking at this stove online for several weeks along with another well known brand but the features on the LG are a lot better than the other one that I was looking at and I decided to purchase this stove and I am so glad that I did. I love the easy clean oven especially. I had been wanting a double oven for years and when my 16 plus year old stove gave out I went with the LG. It has taken some getting use to because it is different than what I was use to but it has been so worth it. I love that when food such as bacon grease gets splattered on the oven door just take a sponge and some dish soap and it wipes off super easy. The oven has been accurate on everything that I have baked so far. I have had the stove for about 7 weeks now and I don't regret my purchase. I know its a bit pricey but for all the features it is well worth every penny. I love the beautiful color of the matte black that I purchased and it sets off the look that I was wanting in my kitchen. I love the fact that the front burner has an option on the knob to be adjusted to the size of the pan/pot that I am using. I am still learning all the awesome features of this stove and I have not yet regretted purchasing this stove. The interior light on the oven is very bright and makes it so nice to see whatever I am baking. Well worth the price.

I really like the fact that it is a double oven. However there are a few things that prevent if from having a 5 star rating. The bottom oven is really low to the floor. Also, the rolling shelf is very difficult to get in once it is taken out for adjustment. The fact that it cooks dishes so evenly is a plus. The oven produced some of the best baked fish that I've ever had. Also, the cooktop was easy to operate. I do wish that the numbers were easier to distinguish, however, as they were barely visible.

Love it! It takes some time to warm and preheat but the clear digital display makes it easy to keep track of the temperature currently inside the oven. I am able to use both ovens at the same time although figuring out how to work and set both ovens took some time to figure out even with the accompanying handbook. I love how it cools down quickly and is easy to clean. The stove top portion is interesting. I don't have a use for the warmer and have only used it once but the clean up is easy and quick. I especially like that some heating coils are slower to heat which is great for slow cooking meals such as soups or stews.

Looks amazing. Has a notch in the upper back to accept a counter top bump out which is cool. Often I reach high up above the stove and my waist turns the stove dials on so please be careful. Easy to clean using ceramabrite. The upper oven in the center has a burner that can possible over cook directly under it. For example a trey of cookies will burn in the middle when you use bake. No matter how you break this down it is a FLAW! I chose this stove for many reasons. The GE Cafe has the closest feature set to this in my opinion. It however was missing a couple things that I liked including color and price. The LG won me over. I bake every other day. The top oven center burner is an important factor in planning how I have to cook. You MUST pre heat to minimize this. I will not buy an LG oven again with this burner feature. Dials are not intuitive. If this stove lasts me 30 years and I don't change it out that's on me. You almost made an excellent product however this unit manages to irritate me too often for a major appliance. No joke if LG baked cookies with this without pre heating then would feed them to the engineers that made the burner they would complain to each other what were we thinking? Why are the cookies burned in the middle and uncooked 5 inches away on the outside of the trey? I went back to the store and reported to the sales associate the burner. He looked inside the stove and was not silent in discovering this unique burner.

Pros; - This range does the job, and does it well. - The oven heats up quickly. - There's 3 heating elements for the bottom right burner. - It boils a pot of water very quickly. - Great design Cons: - When baking, it uses the broiler. This is good to preheat quickly, but while baking, sometimes it burns the top of the food from the broiler, so I have to overshoot my preheat, so that it can cool down as the time goes by to take the temperature down to optimal level. - Lacks intuition. If I want to cook a steak and flip every minute for example, other ranges allow me to hit the + sign to add a minute. For this range, I have to wait until the time goes to 0, or cancel the timer, and reset the timer to 1 minute. It's a pain in the reat. - There's a dedicated knob to set broiler, bake, top, bottom, etc. It makes it a hassle to set the bottom oven to bake for example, and you have to memorize where the knob is supposed to hit, or re-read all of the options until you find the one you want.

We purchased this stove to replace a double-oven GE model that was too expensive to fix. This model matches our LG refrigerator (which we love) and has the double oven that I insisted on. We are happy with this stove and so far it fits our needs. I like the variety of settings and stovetop sizes. The ovens preheat quickly and both bake and convection settings work as expected. However, the knobs are difficult to read and stick out at an angle that leaning on them has turned them on without us realizing and taking cookie sheets out of the oven and setting them on the cooktop slides across the knobs. We are getting used to it, and it is not a deal-breaker for purchasing this unit. It is just something to note if considering.

Maximizes the range hole! Performs well (Speed Broiler is a beast), loved the thermostat for the Thanksgiving Turkey. Ovens are great size. Knobs are very nice. The cheapish looking rear vent ad the way it sticks out a bit further than advertised led me to 4star over 5 star However would need to spend way more money for the 5 star looks, the price was right on this model. Notice the glass top does not overlap counter and give the drop in look, so not what some expect with a “slide in”, really this is a great free-standing range that fits into a slide in hole. Premeasure and prepare prior to delivery.

Firstly, in the manual a filler piece is listed but is not included in the oven. If you give LG a call they can ship it to your house and you'll have it in a few days. I believe it's a must since it gives the range an overall finished look. The oven is amazing and works like a charm, except the app is slightly buggy and does keep sending me a message to clean my oven periodically (since I've only used it 3 times and nothing has spilled I'm not sure why though). Racks do scratch the finish slightly when taking them in and out which is to be expected. The cooktop heats up quickly and I haven't had any problems but it is extremely difficult to clean compared to other glass cooktops so be aware that you will have to keep on top of it or it will look bad over time. Overall I love the functionality and it is extremely convenient having the 2 ovens so I would recommend to others looking for a new range.

I love the looks of my new electric slide in range. The top glass is a bit more of a cleaning challenge than my previous glass top but I am acclimating to the difference. What I really love is the blue interior of the ovens....it's not only pretty but almost like non stick surface. It is so easy to clean even overspill from sticky substances plus my upper over this time is as wide as my lower one which means I can fit a large size cookie sheet in both making cookie baking much easier! I had a double oven slide in range before and love the convenience of the quick pre heat of the smaller oven especially when there are generally only two of us but when it comes to larger dinners I can use both ovens at different temps....perfect!

Full admission-this was not my first choice, but it was available when the other order fell through. We had other LG appliances, so I knew it would be okay. There's much to like about this-the double ovens are great, the cook top works well. But I dislike the way the top has a rim around it that catches every crumb. I also dislike the giant knobs on the front, which turn on way too easily when just bumped into, and also are dirt catchers. The whole package is difficult to keep clean, and the stainless steel shows every water spot, finger print and drip. And the top is a dustcatcher-I've never had to dust my cooktops before, and now I have to keep a swiffer duster in the kitchen!

Cooks evenly and easier to clean than gas. We originally purchased the gas version but after a month it began to leak gas. Lg sent two repairman but neither was able to repair it. I finally contacted Best Buy and after some discussion they agreed to allow us to exchange so we got the electric version and very happy with it.
