What more can you say that it is simple and it works. Low cost too. Took it out of the box plugged everything in and no issues. Took all of 5 minutes.

I bought this only because I ran out of Cat6 lines in my router; I like wired vs. Wi-Fi, and the quality/speed is much better. So this served my purpose. It is basically invisible, so that's good. But certain things should not be run through this-better direct to the router-such as gaming computer; streaming devices, etc. It's fine for VoIP, printers, backup computers, etc. Happy with price point; knew the name already for quality! It basically set itself up-I really did nothing.

Bought for my home office to connect a printer and 3 pc’s hardwired to my router. Everything capable of 1GB speed is operating as such. Very simple to set up, just plug everything in and power it on.

Very well priced small switches. Very useful for when you are out of extra Ethernet drops to plug in your wired devices.

I use this to create a wired network near two of my Linksys Velop Nodes and I think they're fantastic. The best part is that they are really small. Not only that, but they're high quality. My only gripe (minor one) was that no ethernet cable was included in the box. That would have been nice to have. I can't tell you about any performance in terms of raw data, but I can say that I have a LOT of devices plugged into both of my nodes (with a third node in a different area of the house) and noticed NO slow down in speeds.

I ran internet to my garage but only ran one port. I needed more and this was the least complicated least expensive way to go about it... I like it does what it's designed to do. It's pretty straight forward. Good value seems to work good.

I have my whole house wired with cat5e but only did one port per room except the living room which had 2. Unfortunately a rodent problem in the attic ate through one of the cables so only 1 worked now. I used this to allow the devices to connect until I could get up there and run the cables through pvc. Did wonders and actually use this in the basement for multiple systems now.

I purchased this considering the low price at the time. I switched from using the LAN ports from the back of my Comcast modem/router combo to this one. I had connection issues with the devices connected via LAN in my home. I did a little research to find the next affordable option and found that it may be best to consider connecting with a separate switch. I grabbed this one. Set up was very easy and I haven't had a single issue with any of the LAN connected devices ever since.

This Ethernet Switch works great if you need to add additional lines into your router. We have experienced any slowdown in speed in how our Internet operates since using this switch. It is easy to hook up and we have not had any problems. I would recommend getting it even if you don't need it because it seems like there are always new devices to plug into your router.

It took a bit to get the whole architecture of my system to work, but it had nothing to do with this 5-port switch. I wanted a couple of RJ-45 ethernet ports in my house that are wired with CAT-6 cable to work, so at first, I installed this 5-port Switch right after my cable modem. That did not work. Neither the cable modem nor the 5-port switch has the ability to manage IP Addresses. The cable modem is a Netgear CM700. The 5-port switch is a Linksys SE3005V2. So, I changed the architecture and installed the Primary Google Mesh Router as the first device after the cable modem and then connected the 5-port switch to the 2nd port on that Primary Google Mesh Router. Now all hard-wired RJ-45 Ethernet ports test at maximum speed and I am able to have a wired Ethernet connection to my TV and all RJ-45 Ethernet ports in the house are working as they should. I am paying for 150 Mbps internet speed and when I test connection speeds using the Google WiFi app and another 3rd party app, my test results are in the 172 Mbps range. I get the same WiFi speed everywhere in my house as I do when I connect my PC directly to any of the hard-wired RJ-45 Ethernet ports. At these speeds, it made no difference if I used a CAT-5E or a CAT-6 patch cable. Both tested the same. There was no setup of this SE3005V2 5-port switch. It was plug and play. Also, the model on the shelf was not as shown in the photo of this ad. The model on the shelf is Version 2. The ports and LED's are on the front of the switch and the power connection is on the back.

this has worked out great for my home. I was able to just run one ethernet from router down to basement where I mounted this switch and then from the switch I ran my 3 existing hardwire ethernet cables. my 2 office ports and 1 basement ports work great and now i don't have a sloppy mess of multiple ethernet cables running in my living room down to my basement

While this switch is simple it's very effective. I am currently using it for additional ports because my wifi router only has one ethernet output. I have gigabit internet service and with this switch I am able to speed test very high speeds on every device I use. It's surprisingly solid and is small enough to basically hide it. Worth buying if you need a switch.
