A little pricey for the basic magnet set however it does hold under various conditions and heat and vibration. The downside I found two using a magnet that clips into your vent is that it makes the very much useless for any type of actual venting or airflow do the phone blocking it other than that it's great.

I was looking for a car mount that didn't take up a lot of space. I had looked at several of the different magnetic units that clipped to a/c vents and chose this unit because it was available, on sale, and I had a rewards certificate that was going to expire. The price is high- overly so for what it is. The magnet for you phone will not fit inside a case that has friction strips so my magnet is on the outside of my incase iPhone 5s case meaning there is a black blob on my royal blue phone. it does the job, my phone hasn't fallen while driving and it stays put. That's about all you can expect for a small round "pad".

This is a good phone mount with strong magnet strength. The only issue I had with it was that it interfered with my Note 5 wireless charging no matter where I placed it. Connecting the magnet to my case and taking the case off whenever I wanted to charge my phone defeated the purpose of wireless charging it. So if you have a device that supports wireless charging and you use wireless charging, then I wouldn't recommend this. If your device don't have wireless charging then this is a good product for you.

The magnet was surprisingly stronger then my initial thought but my only problem was the AC vent in your czar had to be a certain thickness for the magnet to fit. It worked for me but had to muscle it in a bit before it was secured enough to hold my iPhone 6 Plus. Definitely recommend for drivers that utilize GPS to drive around so hands can remain free.

Got this as a gift, was a little skeptical after reading some reviews about how the iphone is too heavy or plate not sticky enough. Decided to try it anyways. Works great, easy to install.unistall. Holds iphone 5s great (yeah it's lighter than 6 or 7) but magnet seems strong enough to hold heavier phones.

Easy to use. Sales person tried to sell me a $40 alternative . When I asked about this product I was told it was only the magnet and I would need to buy a separate case for my phone. I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Magnet for phone can go inside your phone case or adhere with adhesive. Comes with two phone magnets.

I use a GPS app on my phone to get around places that I have not visited before. That happens a lot and I use my phone instead of renting a GPS to save money. This magnetic device clips to the air conditioning vent and the back of my phone contains a thin metal piece to hold the phone to the magnet. Works great!

I bought other pieces to this magnetic mounting system but its difficult to find anything anymore. It works great for me. I have two of the suction cup type, window-mounts. I decided to add this little guy for business travel Small, compact. Functional.

Great product, works well in my wife's car, but did not work in mine. Be aware of all of the issues regarding the weight of the phone you are planning on mounting, the direction of the louvers on the AC vent, the thickness of those louvers etc. It is definitely not "universal", but it probably can work in most vehicles with most phones, but you won't know until you try.

The size is great - simple & unobtrusive! And the magnet is strong and trustworthy. Unfortunately, the well-designed (soft rubber but grip well) “tongs” on the bag of the magnet that are intended to slide over and grasp your vent work well only if the “leaflets” of your vent provide sufficient space. I discovered too late that the approximately 1/3 inch wide tong was too wide to fit in the “grill” of my vent system. If your vent is constructed of “fins” or leaflets” that are free of any cross-structure, you should be fine. If you have a “cross-hatch” design with fins that form more of a grate, then think twice about this design.

I was lookking for something that wouldn't be large and gaudy, nor would it detract from the appearance or functionality of the phone or car. I found it in this device. The magnet is strong enough to hold my Note 3 with case in place in pretty much any driving condition. It is clipped in a place that's easy for me to see/access, and the small dot of a magnet that clips into the vent looks like it belongs on my dash. The only complaint (and this would be an issue with any vent-mounted holder) is that when the heat is on, the phone will get a little hotter than I might prefer. That's easily fixed by pulling the phone right off the magnet and moving it to its previous location: the cupholder.

The Air Vent Mount can be installed easily. It's close enough to viewing that allows easy reading of GPS on iPhone. It does block a little part of the air flow but you can still get air from the remaining part.

This works perfectly! I love it! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the packaging is a bit misleading. The pictures on the packaging making it seem like you should attach the magnet to your smartphone and then put your case on. I was skeptical of the magnet being strong enough through my case but I tried it anyways. I was right, it wasn't strong enough. While the phone was able to stick to the mount, it only stayed on until my car hit the first bump. Thankfully this comes with a backup magnet. I attached that one to the outside of my phone case and it works perfectly! The magnet is very strong and the phone has never fallen off.

I wanted to give it a 5 but their are some small issues. I have an Otterbox defender case for my Galaxy S5. It does fit well for it. the double casing makes it almost useless but I had to put the magnet between the rubbery piece and the hard shell. After that, it worked great but I had to off center the magnet on my phone due to the case style. no matter what case you have a hard turn will make your phone slide off. I went off speed bumps a little fast but my phone did not move. The vent piece is the size of a half-dollar coin and the phone magnet is the size of a square quarter and it has an adhesive side. It comes with 2 magnets also. Even with the issues, I do really like it .

If you purchase a Logitech phone case, this is a must have!!! (Or the other one that sticks to the window.) Ridiculously easy install (hardly qualifies to even call it an "install"). Extreme convenience!! The magnet is the perfect strength to hold your phone securely and snugly. Attached to the air vent, the phone is right in the perfect spot to hear speakerphone calls and check your GPS. A totally awesome choice.

Great add on accessory for anyone that needs a place for their phone in the car. In my daily job and everyday trips I had the issue of not having a secure place for my phone. The incorporation of a magnetic attachment method makes it user friendly and device friendly(since my girlfriend sometimes uses my car) there's no need for adjusting to different size phones. The kit comes with extra magnetic plate.

Quick installation on my vent meant I put it to work right away. The magnet holds well even when I romp on bumpy roads. This mount keeps my phone visible when using maps.

I use this to hold my iPhone while I drive. It works great. Other clips may stay mounted (while some others constantly fall off) but this one stays in place and makes it simple to pick up my iPhone and then just place it back. No need to have arms holding it in place, with the two included metal magnetic (one silver, one space gray) mats you are able to mount anything to this clip quickly and easily. Also, there's lots of cases which work for this clip.

There were questions of whether it can fit on air vents of specific cars. Works on my car and I attach it to the vent that I can turn off. When I put it on a vent with the heat running, the phone overheated and stopped. Otherwise, I love using it and haven't had a problem with it coming off on bumpy rides. Also, if you didn't know this, you don't need to attach the magnetic pieces included if you are using the the matching Logitech case. It would have been written on the directions if there were any written directions. For that annoyance, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
