Ill let the picture explain it all. It has 3 modes, in the picture its the brightess.

So far, my favorite keyboard I've used after using a bunch of different mechanicals, wireless, etc. This one is simple, looks good, very easy and comfortable to type on, and is a very no nonsense keyboard that has been around forever. I liked my first one I got for work so much after a year that I got another one for home. Both work flawlessly and using Setpoint vs Options is no reason not to get one.

Great keyboard, works really well, responsive, sits well on wrists.

Love the backlight for the keys, it is very nice to have in a low light or no light times, it has saved me several times from having to stop everything i am doing and hunt down a new light bulb in the middle of working.

Bought this keyboard to replace my keyboard because it was backlight, my keyboard is under my desk and finding my way to the home keys was a sometime challenge which this resolved. The key travel is exactly what I was seeking.

We've bought several of these for different members of the family. All have worked well . Nice to have the backlighting for working in low light. Quiet and solid.

Great lighted keyboard. Has variable brightness settings and a soft section below the keys for the thumbs to rest on while typing. Convenient size and weight.

Best keyboard ever. I have worn out one, replaced it with another, and recently replaced my wife's keyboard with this one, and she loves it too.

The K740 Logitech is a great illuminated keyboard, but it does tie up a USB port since it is not wireless. Wireless or Bluetooth keyboards are usually not illuminated. Even if you find one, it still needs to be plugged in to power the illumination, and therefore it is never really free to be moved around. This setup works very well and there is a single wire going out to a USB port, both to operate and illuminate the keys, which are lit at all times. If one uses a Bluetooth mouse, a single USB is required for both the keyboard and the mouse.

I wanted a backlit keyboard, that was not a gaming keyboard (every time I used a gaming keyboard, when typing it would cause problems). This keyboard is not only quiet, but the quality is supreme.

Can't say enough good things about this keyboard. Lighted function makes it easier to use in daylight as well as in complete darkness. All buttons click easy and quietly. I would buy this item again!

This is straight forward, well built keyboard. The keys feel great as you type, and the backlit keys are a nice feature. I really like the ability to adjust the brightness of the back light.

What's not to like? Love the illuminated keys. If I could make one slight improvement it would be a dedicated sleep key!

Really nice feel. Great backlighting, large legible characters on the keyboard. Palm rest is nice. No batteries required! Nicely finished.

It is a very good keyboard. The keys are easy to push without a lot of sound. It even has a volume control on the keyboard which makes it easy to raise and lower the volume of your speaker.
