I am not satisfied with this time transaction.I got the item without seal tags. And when I came home and open it, my daughter said there seems like a scratch that been refurbished. Shows like the picture.

I have used many Logitech products in the past and was very pleased with them. That streak has ended with this keyboard case. While it is a bit awkward since the keyboard is only attached magnetically, I was aware of that and wouldn't mind it. What is very frustrating is the keyboard itself. If you're holding your iPad up reading and want to type something, the keyboard does not automatically switch to the screen keyboard. Instead, you have to try and touch the keyboard button on the actual keyboard to switch. Most of the time it works, but often it doesn't. It's an expensive keyboard case and seems overpriced. If you mostly use it sitting up on a hard surface like a laptop, it's probably much less frustrating. Beware if you hope for it to easily switch from one typing mode to the other.

There are certain things I like about this case and there are things I don't. Sturdy and good protection - great. Apple Pencil holder - great. Kickstand - also good. However, the detachable keyboard leaves something to be desired. It types great BUT ever time you want to flip the keyboard to the back, it just doesn't have enough slack to stay connected with it's weak magnets. If you hold the tablet with the keyboard dangling and even slightly move the tablet around (like say picking it up from a table), the keyboard just falls off. When you hold the tablet without the keyboard attached, it's completely unprotected on that whole side of the iPad. I'd recommend a case that either has a better detachable keyboard or one that doesn't detach at all.

With the purchase of a new iPad Air, I wanted to pair it with a nice case and keyboard. Unfortunately, when using the iPad strictly in lap/handheld mode, the keyboard easily disconnected. When carrying the unit, it seemed fairly flimsy and the keyboard again disconnected from the back easily. When sitting at a table, though, the keyboard worked fine and the backlit keys were nice. For us, though, we returned it and went with a more protective case without a keyboard.

Keyboard is great especially without the need to connect through Bluetooth. I gave it a two star because the case has no ridges or some sort of rubber for better gripping. It is slick and slides of pretty easily when handling. I’ve dropped it several times even with a protective film for the screen and my screen now has several cracks. Definitely try and hold before you buy and feel how easily your fingers slide on the case.

    Lacks closing mechanism

Keyboard works fine, but the major problem with this Folio Case is that it lacks any kind of a closing mechanism. If you are not careful, your iPad can fall out because only a small magnet attaches the halves (the keyboard and the iPad) together on one side of the Folio.

This boils down to a very expensive screen cover. The rear spring flap has very nice action and build quality to it. The key board pops on and off seamlessly and is very pleasingly subtle in its under keyboard lighting. Typing on the unit is best kept to short bursts. The ergonomics are not ideal for anything beyond a fast email. I noticed zero difference in battery life when it was attached which is certainly something. The main stand/cover portion of the unit once a week interferes with the screens digitizer, prompting you to take it off and then put it back several times before the screen will operate while its on. One of the rubber feet fell off recently. Buy something unbranded from china instead I would say.

Bought the keyboard for both children for school to protect their iPad and as a keyboard in the classroom. Within a month or less the keys were falling off the keyboard- shame otherwise would have been a good product.

The case is attached by a magnet. At times, the connection is not too strong which places the iPad at risk for falling apart. The case itself is sturdy if using the iPad without the keyboard. The stand does not always work.

I have purchased many cases for the office over years. Logitech has always built a nice folio case with the built-in keyboard. This case I purchased for myself. The case is made of quality components, but is very poorly designed. It looks like they were trying to make the iPad into a competitors product. Best part of the design is the kick stand on the back of the case. The protective part of the case kept popping off. The keyboard attachment is magnetic. The magnets are not strong enough. My keyboard kept popping off. Most of the time flying across the room. This was a good idea that went very wrong. It is not a good case. Do not buy! I returned mine after about 30 days of use. Went for something else.

Good concept when it works. If the folio case is closed when you open it you need to detach the iPad from the keyboard and connect again in order to work. Very often the signs keys respond to a different sign. For instance the =sign may show as the ? . This is particularly annoying because you must detach the keyboard and connect it again for the correct key to be recognized. I would not recommend it

    Never Stayed in Case

At first when I got it I thought it was good and exactly what I needed, a keypad for my iPad. However my iPad Air would not stay snapped into the case, it was a continual fight for it to stay in there and not pop out. In addition, because the case attached magnetically to the keyboard, it was always becoming separated and that started to get on my nerves. I returned it, I had had enough.

This case comes off of my iPad all the time. It just pops off, and I have to push it back in. Also, the front does not stay secure, keeping the screen protected and iPad powered off. I have opened my bag 100 times to find the keyboard off and my iPad powered on (when I needed to save battery). Would recommend the Apple case over this one for sure.

This is great if you do not plan to take your iPad far from your desk. I needed to use it for work, the field, etc. I felt like it was too delicate and needed to return it. If there was some way to keep my iPad “safe” away from my house .....ah no, not for me

Got frustrating constantly standing this thing up. Can you use it without a firm tabletop. Certainly couldn't put this on my lap sitting up in bed. I would recommend it to anyone who plans on using it on hard surfaces. Me, I travel and move around too much, and need something sturdier.

I really didn't want to spend the extra $$$ for the Apple version of this detachable keyboard. It also seems kinda clumsy when opening up the stand. My main complaint is that texture makes it slippery and easy to slip out of your hand.

The keyboard attaches to the iPad magnetically. The problem is that the stand and magnet need to be on a flat surface to use and stay together. It is impossible to use lying in bed or in a chair w/o a desk because it detaches and is wobbly. Ended up buying a much better case and keyboard online.

Have been a fan of Logitech keyboards for iPads for years. Very disappointed with this design: too thick--absolutely negates the advantage of the thinner iPad--and iPad fell out of the case on several occasions. They missed it on this one. Returned it and went with the Apple Smart Keyboard.

The keyboard itself is very nice. The backlight is great love that it uses the magnetic connection. The case part doesn’t feel like it fits correctly. It feels like it is too big for the iPad. The keyboard gets easily knocked off of the device.
