With the finger print key for starting, using for passwords, and the new battery power - it is a keeper. Only complaint is that I would like to tilt it up further!

Starting out with a non-brand keyboard as a way to save money turned out to be a non-starter. Slow reaction time, driver updates was too much for me to invest in since have little to create and write. I finally overcame my hesitation and purchased a branded keyboard. What a difference. My productivity doubled. “Too old for short cuts, Just need it to work when I need it.”
My only wish is that the keyboard could have a slightly greater incline to fit my hands.

I wanted a numeric keyboard and having Touch ID made security much easier. Works perfectly with my Studio Display and MacBook Pro. Couldn’t justify spending more for the black version.

OK, you have to admit this is crazy expensive for a keyboard. The keyboard works just like any other keyboard, with the exception of the fingerprint sensor. I have found it works flawlessly with my laptop. I use the docking station at work and at home so the laptop is normally closed. This button has made all the difference and blurring the lines between the desktop and a laptop.

Bought my wife this keyboard to go with her new Mac Studio. Like all Apple products I own, it is well built, connects easily, and the battery is decent.

It’s pricey but I bought my parents an iMac and replaced the keyboard that came standard with this one. They love having the number pad on the side and Touch ID.

I like that it has the number key and fingerprint reader. An upgrade from the stock one, though they still feel super shallow and not too responsive.

I’ve always loved the Apple magic keyboard, and the very low profile. Typing speed is great accuracy is great. Unfortunately, I took one star off because they still, after years, have not changed the hardware at all. With everything else going with USB-C, keyboard still requires Apple’s old lightning charging cable. To me that’s ridiculous. Every other device I own, including newer Apple devices use USB-C.

Improved key touch but stop short of mechanical feel. Touch ID work quite well with Mac Studio. Lay flat with no tilt adjustment. Battery life is ok. USB-c charging is great with Studio display. Bluetooth is responsive with no latency. Well made but pricey

Oh Apple products, I’ve drunk your Kool-Aid. I LOVE this keyboard with the TouchID key. It makes all the difference when I’m working with my laptop propped on a stand. Watch out for the sneaky World key if you use several language keyboards. It’s great when I want to switch character sets, but when I get lazy with my hand position, look out!

Nice keyboard, but expensive. I like the convenient feature of the Touch ID. I bought this to replace an older AA battery powered Apple keyboard and use them with my Mac and also a PC laptop. Unlike the older keyboard, this one will not automatically Bluetooth switch between the two computers. I have to use charging cable to connect to my PC, then unplug to allow Bluetooth connection to my Mac.

I picked this unit Magic Keyboard to analyze and test it for ease of use with a Mac. I have to say that I'm impressed with the performance. I haven't had any issues it looks and feels better tha any keyboard that I 've used with a Mac yet. I do like the fingerprint login feature. Also it has a USB cable to keep the unit charged instead of replacing batteries. Even better the black color keeps the keyboard blacked out when studio lights are on, as well as hiding smudges. If you are on the fence about which Mac keyboard to purchase, don't sleep on this one. It gets the job done.

It’s always better having a keyboard directly in from of a larger screen. Especially with the number keypad, wireless, and finger touch. Feels nice and responsive.
