I love my Mac keyboard because of its comfortable and responsive keys, sleek and modern design, and intuitive layout that makes it easy to use. The backlighting and function keys are also convenient features that add to the overall user experience.

Love this keyboard, and especially having the TouchID on it. It even had that new Apple product smell. I originally bought because I wanted a desktop setup for my M1 Max, but then decide to hold onto my iMac Pro until the new one releases. I'm sure this keyboard will ship with that (and hopefully in space gray)!

This is much easier to use than the keyboard that comes with the computer.

Works well, looks and feels great. But I don’t understand how apple has not yet given these backlit keys. That would shot this review to five stars. Only disappointment for me. Especially after the apple rep at my local Best Buy told me they had it and only found out after purchasing that was not the case.

I love this keyboard. It's very responsive and very well made. I especially like the Touch ID on it because it makes buying things and signing in on websites so much easier. It does not have the ability to be slanted like other keyboards, it sits flat, but it is very comfortable to type on.

I love the keyboard that came with the iMac, but I like having the key pad at the end for familiarity. Oddly enough, have gone back to the green keyboard that came with the iMac, love that green. I also really like the touch id on the keyboard, makes it much easier to log in and make purchases.

Great add on for Apple Studio Display and M1 Max

Bought this to integrate with my Apple Studio Display and M1 Max Macbook Pro. Absolutely incredible ecosystem- everything works great, especially the touch ID. The only downside is there is no backlight for the keys, but I bought a monitor lamp to fix the issue. Pricy, but worth it!

This keyboard is pricey but so, so good. Touch ID login is so convenient, it’s quiet, and the battery life is great. Keys aren’t backlit, but for a desktop keyboard that’s not really an issue.

I've loved the flat magic keyboards since they came out and now Apple has one with black keys to match many of my other peripherals.
I purchased this for a NON APPLE SILICON MacBook Pro I use in clamshell mode often. While it's listed as being for Apple Silicon here's a few reasons why:
1. While TouchID doesn't work with non-Apple Silicon processor devices the button finally works correctly for power and sleep. With my Intel MacBook when I hit the button the system immediately sleeps, monitors turn off, etc. On older Magic Keyboards this button just ejected the CD/DVD ROM which of course hasn't been a part of normal life for a very long time.
2. New keyboard mappings for modern operating systems. You've got the proper Spotlight search keys, dictation key, do not disturb, etc. This brought my external keyboard up to the same setup as my other Mac devices for consistency.
3. Globe key: Straight emoji popup or use it for other languages.

I have been wanting to purchase this keyboard and I am happy I did to complement my new laptop. It works perfect and it is very comfortable to work on. My previous keyboard was very loud when I typed but you can't hear anything when I use this one.

Slim design makes typing on any surface comfortable and much better than typing on the MacBook Pro giant touch pad causing issues with accidental clicks. The number keypad makes it all that much better especially when migrating from PC to Mac.

Very natural fill for a keyboard. Keys are flat and similar to the laptop keyboard. Easy installation to Apple products. You sit it down and it pairs just like that.

Well constructed. The small foot-print of the keyboard means it is not as easy to use for someone with larger hands (which is why I rated it a 4). Multiple "special" keys help to perform a wide variety of tasks. Touch ID key is a great addition, saves you from having to enter ID data in a number of situations.

Great if you want the same experience as using the keyboard on your Mac M1 Pro, with added extended keys.
Nice to have the finger print login button.
I didn’t like because not as ergonomic as other keyboard.
