I've had my compact Maytag washer (the Neptune) for two years. Living in a mobile home, I needed a washer that was exceptionally compact. I also needed something of a workhorse to keep up with a teenager's constant wardrobe changes as well as some relatively bulky (although not particularly heavy) items. I've found this machine meets these criteria, it's quite easy to set and use, and it's water and energy efficient. Definitely worth the money I paid for it. Esselle

I have owned the MAH2400 washer for well over a year. It is noisy, doesn't clean well and smells. If you like mold & mildew you will love this machine. Even if you follow the maintenance procedures to keep the washer clean it still smells like mildew a day later. I'm sure you can find a better washer at Bestbuy with out looking to hard. Beware of the door on the washer too, it is cheaply made and breaks frequently.
