This only has one ethernet port, so you will need a router to go along with this. Better to buy them separate than integrated anyways.

Good upgrade if you have an old modem.

Pages come up quick and our streaming devices don't have any lag. When this is obsolete I will get another motorola modem.

Don’t expect your service provider to contact you to update your existing one. Life is good with this modem. It will provide the throughput I need for some time as my provider periodically raises speeds. I had to call Comcast when I installed it in order for them to recognize it, just like when I installed my previous rental modem. Since then, it has worked without any issues.

Motorola Modem Model MB8600

Give it 5 stars on ease of setup (not including internet provider interaction) & 5 stars on speed. It increased my download speeds on average by 30Mbps.
