I bought this and returned within 2 days. There is an issue with Mac El Capitan. I called customer service and she said there is a known issue and she needed to take over my computer to fix it. After 20 minutes of that, the issue went unresolved. In addition, you only get a few calls to the Neat customer service for free, then there is a charge.

I have wanted one for a while and now that I have on, I can't imagine life without it!

It's great to save all of my reciepts and save them in files. Very good product!!

Scanner is cheaply made and slow to scan just a single page. It would take forever to do the type of workload I needed it to. I returned it.

This product did not work like it was suppose to. It scanned fine but it did not read them to put them. Was really disappointed.

Purchased it in after using it for 30 days found out there was a subscription required to continue to use the item. Will be returning it as I did not purchase it to continue to purchase other items to make it work

Neat will make you want to buy a monthly subscription of their software so you can continue to use it, buy a regular scanner and it will do the same.

Couldn't get this to link to my HP Windows 10. Kept giving me an error report. Became more of a hassle than worth

Best product available for managing your receipts!

I set everything up as described and it kept saying feed paper in to scan and I was but it would not take the receipt through the scanner! No matter how many times I tried it would not work! I returned it and got my $$ back! Very discouraged with it!

Neat customer support is very poor. After waiting three weeks for help from Neat support without resolution for the compatibility issue, I returned the product.

I could not get it to install. Tried on 2 different computers 1 running Windows 8 and the other Windows 10. Decided that it wasn't with the trouble and returned it. Really wanted it to work.

Returned the product work not work with Mac Neat tried some back door approach and the geek squad also failed

Tried to install software from Neats Web page. Received warning that "certificate was expired". My Dell laptop refused to install software.

Stopped working get something else and you'll be better off

I wouldnt recommend anyone purchase this product. First you have to have the software program for neat which is very shoddy software, to even scan a document. Even then you do not get to chose what happens to your document. As a scanner it is horrible. If you have a piece of paper with a tear in it. It will stop scanning when it get to the tear. You documents must be complete flat with no bends in them or the scanner will have issues. I would stay away from the proprietary piece of junk and look at other reviews online of the product. This company should not be in business.

Purchased Feb '16 and product stopped working in Apr '16. When the scanner did work it was slow and took a while to load a receipt into the database or sometimes it would not send the receipt information at all. Further, the scanner and software did not always capture the details of receipt information. I would in turn have to hand jam all of the data into the Neat database which took even more time. I would have been better off just using a basic spreadsheet which would have take less time. From my point of view, software issues and compatibility with iMac continue to go unresolved concerning this particular device. I have spent several hours on the phone with technicians who try to fix the issue. They tried a work around to the software issue but then told me that they no longer support that particular software after they finished!? My retort, "Then why didn't you try to fix the software issue from the beginning rather then provide me a alternate solution?" That tells me they know the problem exists but do not know how to program a solution. In return, the Neat technician stated I would be contacted once a solution has been found...that has been over 30 days now. I'm still waiting to see if someone from the company will at least honor their commitment of providing me an update. To date the product still does not work. I would not recommend this particular product based on my experience.

Had no problem hooking up but disappointed that I had to download the software.
