    I’m an IT guy.. You want a solid switch to create a hub, this a go to. Happy Best Buy?? Selenites.. Want me to make a review! In all fairness, meant what I said. It’s a solid switch. I always you Netgear. Firmware when you have multiples devices, like a WAP. See everything on the network.

    I bought the NETGEAR 8-port switch to replace a switch that was destroyed by a power surge. This new switch is much more substantial. I hope that it will be able to tolerate surges better.

    Great switch! Power cord was a little short for my liking, but worked well in an extension. Software was very intuitive, once I remembered to change my computers IP address to the same subnet as the switch that is. All in all great switch and very affordable.

    Honestly wasnt expecting much out of this Cheap Netgear Managed Switch, but its able to do a lot more than what I needed (bandwidth limiting). Highly recommended if you dont need enterprise level equipment.
