It's possible that because it is in the bedroom and the signal has to go around the corner from the family room that at times it takes awhile to connect. Even then, as recently as Wednesday, the signal was not strong enough for the movie to play continuously.

It does the job just fine but has a limited life expectancy. Ive bought a dozen or so of these for works in the last 5 years and have had several fail after a couple years of use. Still not bad for the price though and easy to set up.

I have a home theater system that requires a wired connection to use Netflix etc. Instead of purchasing a dongle that is only good for the brand of the home theater unit, I elected to buy this instead. This will allow me to use it for any system I may change to in the future. Quick and easy install using the WPS button on router and Netgear adapter. No complaints, works great.

Wanted to connect our Directv HD DVR to the internet.The Directv wireless adapter was more expensive and we would have to have it shipped to us. So we went to BB and found this product. It works great, was pretty easy to set up and connect. Now hubby is so happy! Liked it so much bought another for my daughter Directv HD TiVo DVR! PS-a computer is needed for set up.

I bought this item to connect my smart capable blue ray player to my bedroom t.v. Since I already own,a net gear router, set up was a breeze. Connect the cables, then push 2 buttons to locate the router, and your done. As mentioned above, sometimes there is load time while watching Netflix, but I can't rule out my Internet speed. Other than that, I love this product!

Need a way to get device that has no WiFi but has Ethernet, then this is an option for that. No problems at this point. It can get a little warm, did not mention this under what's not so great because I do not think it's a deal breaker.

I only had Netflix on my TV downstairs and wanted to watch movies upstairs. Had bought a wireless Blu ray DVD player about two years ago, even though the box said wireless and great for steaming, small print, you have to purchase an adapter separately. I could have just bought another DVD player but I am happy I bought adapter instead.

I bought this unit rather than one of the other brands because the box said it was special for hooking a TV into your wireless internet. When I plugged it in, I got nothing. I repackaged it to return it, but hesitated and read the instructions. It is easey-peasey to install-- If you read the directions first. A really great product.

I'm using this to access my Neptune Apex Aquacontroller to my saltwater aquarium via the internet and it works great. it took a bit of trial and error for the set up but otherwise very simple unit to use.

Had outlets ran thru house, but electrician wired them wrong. Was either go thru walls or find some wireless way to connect player to internet. Adapter worked perfect out of box. Have not had a single issue with it as of yet. Excellent buy for price. Should work with any device that has an ethernet port.

This works very well on one of my electronic devices - strong signal and no issues. But on my printer it would not pick up the wireless signal. So not sure why did not work.

I purchased this unit so I could use my PolyCom IP telephone on my home network, without having to run a network cable from the phone to the router. Works great for this application!

This is a great way to set up your TV, BD, DVD, etc to the internet. It's easy to set up and allows access to setup even if you don't have a push to connect router, which I don't have.

easy to set up and connect automaicly by it self, a very tiny tool if your televsion with any wifi connection. the perfroment is quick good for set up for the outside tv box.

Bought this item to use with a stereo receiver in order to access wifi for Pandora and Internet radio. The receiver brand of the same item was complicated and didn't work well, plus was triple the price. This works great and was easy to set up. No issues so far.

Simple to setup. gets up and going in minutes. Look around and Netgear products are very easy to get you going.

This is great for the home theater systems that stream netflix, hulu etc and your system is not setup for wifi. If your home theater system does have the ethernet jack on the back plug this in and connect to your network and your now wireless within minutes.

This product was easy to set up. We had a wireless router that wasn't getting a signal to a ps3 in our basement. My teenage son was able to set up the entire system.

After initial setup it has been rock solid. Be sure to connect it your network by installing it via your PC before attempting to hook up another wireless peripheral (home audio receiver, etc). Also note that this likes a clear line of sight to your router.
