Solid performance, able to get 80-90+ frames on most current games. Great if you can find it for around $400 at the time of writing

It's the best purchase I've made, it's definitely worth every penny, any game in ULTRA and more than 60 fps, 100% recommended for a high-end computer.

Still a great card. Being a blower card it gets a little hot and noisey but she performa preety good.

My son did some research on several graphics cards and concluded that this one was the best one for the price. He installed it, and the graphics are amazing.

Totally unnecessary for 1080p monitors. I have an r9 290 with which I get the same frame rates (well, 80%) of what I get with the GTX 1080. I notice no difference in my experience of the game. My gpu is a i5 3570k and it holds back the 1080. I really don't notice any difference with the new GPU. I should have purchased the i7 7700k instead. Even though it's like $650 with memory and all, the CPU difference is as much in terms of frame rates as the GPU increase, I am simply not getting the benefit of the GTX 1080 in my system.

BestBuy had it on sale cheaper than anywhere else! It's strong and uses very minimal power. Noticeable difference from the 980 and 1070!

The Nvidia GTX 1080 is everything I ever wanted in a graphics card and more. Its quiet, keeps cooler, and performs Heavenly on full load!!!

I bought this card to replace the Nvidia GTX 770 that came installed in my son's ENVY Phoenix 810-150se. My son is trilled with the performance of this GTX 1080. He says that his clock speeds are about triple what he was getting with the 770 and that his system is actually running cooler with the new card. I am not a gamer so I do not no all the technical stats, but my son lives for gaming and says this card is the bomb.

I bought this card a couple months ago and decided to wait to make a honest review on it. I was in process of building a new gaming rig and this card has done a amazing job keeping up. I have used it in both 1080p and 4K it handles 1080p without even breaking a sweat at ultra settings on every game I have thrown at it. It handles 4K well but I would suggest getting the 1080Ti if you need serious FPS output. Overall I am beyond happy with this purchase and I would recommend this card all day long!

I purchased two of the Founders Edition cards to replace two GTX 980TI cards. These cards handle very well. Already having a system that could enable me to game in the 4k resolution smoothly, what these cards have given me is the same performance range with less power consumption. I've gamed on my LG EF9500 OLED. I've game on my Acer X34 Predator. I've not run into any displeasure with the card. Having tested single and SLI configuration. I highly recommend this for those that are both casual and enthusiast.

Was just browsing B.B. site a few days ago and was shocked the Nvidia GTX 1080 founder edition was avail so jump on buying this for 589.00 than today 04/18/18 was again browsing B.B. site and saw the price drop to 549.99 called customer service for price match no hassle now I got this card for the same msrp as NVidia own website which always shows not available for purchase, so luck out... The card is wickedly fast like stupid fast especially for the money!

i bought the card about a week or so after relase...plays all my games on max settings 1080p...so decided to buy a 4k tv to try it out with that...plays most games 4k on high/ultra settings..40-60fps....only a few games gave me some problems...great card when it came out...didn't get a free game bundled with it but o well...paid 699.99 plus tax for it...kind of upset that 1080ti is same price but about 30% better in performance...but technology is always changing

Although no Aftermarket versions were in stock, I went ahead and tried the Founders Edition. With MSI Afterburner you can tweak fan curves, and overclock with ease if you feel the need to get your nerd on for those few extra frames per second. By far beats my old RX 480 card, a must have for those that like to play at ultra settings. Even at stock setting for novice users this card really performs well. Install, download then gaming in under 20 minutes.

Very good card for a fair price. its quite large so be sure to have the right size case to fit it
