Yes, you can get a Windforce, or a PNY, or another manufacturer's card overclocked out of the box and for less money in the long run. But with this product you KNOW you're getting quality and performance for the long run. I chose this card over some other manufacturer's offer because I planned on Overclocking myself and running SLI. When all was said and done, I am currently outperforming most of the aftermarket card manufacturers with a +95 GPU overclock and an additional +500 MHz on the Memory Clock on both my cards. That's slightly more than you'll see on most aftermarket cards and I know for a fact that these are rock stable settings. All in all, I chose to spend the extra money for what I consider to be proper cooling for these cards (out the back of the PC, not on the next card below it) and 100% reliability. The 770 isn't the fastest card out there, but it will run ANYTHING on the market at this time. SLI with 2 of them and you're looking at worry free gaming for the next 3-5 years.

it's a great card but not so much power under the hood but if you have extra money and your able to buy two and run sli you would see the difference. I Would recommend for you to have a mobo that supports pci x16 3.0 so you could take advantage of the better bandwidth. keep in mind only the newer 22nm cpus support pci x16 3.0

Picked this up when my Galaxy GeForce 670 died the day before my clan was competing in an online gaming tourney. A bit more costly than I wished to pay. However, can't complain as this card has handled everything thrown at it without a hiccup.

This card is a great bang for your buck!! In SLI it walks all over a single 980. & another 770 gtx is $300 & a 980 is roughly $800 so for $300 I have more gpu power than the 980. That's because I had 1 770gtx from 2013 when they where released! Love the card! Love the price & GPU boost for cool cards!

The 770 is a pretty good higher end card. It will play most games on almost excellent and is a good option for SLI'ing later... If you have extra $ I would get 780 or 780ti as they are going to vastly outdo the 770 but for most gamers this one will suit you for the next 3 years at least.

    Basically a toned-down 780

The reference model GTX 770 is a dream. It's a GTX 780 with some missing CUDA cores, so it crushes anything you throw at it. One monitor, two monitors, huge resolution, whatever -- it will chew the game up and spit it out. The Witcher 2 and Battlefield 4 are the only two games in my library that have even challenged it... and they're still running at 50fps on ultra settings. But you already know what it can do; taking advantage of everything GeForce Experience has to offer is the reason to buy this card over the tons of other 770 models out there. Shadow Play, game-specific settings, automatic driver updating... the LEDs on the side of the card can even be programmed. If you're still using a 560 or lower, it's time to upgrade. The difference is night and day.

This is an excellent card, and performance is still excellent for 1080P. I decided to SLI two of these together, so I should be good for a while. In terms of overclocking, I'm able to get 1.26Ghz stable. As a side note, I love the look of the reference cooler!

Purchased to upgrade from a Nvidia GTX260 card that has been solid and trouble free for many years. Similar power connections and size. The 3d and shading from the GTX770 is increadable.

Excellent purchase at a competitive price. Grab this card if you don't want to spend a lot of money on the brand new cards that are out there.

Best cards I have ever owned. Started with 1 and it was really a great performing card. Got another 1 thinking of a third for tri sli. Probably would be overkill. We will see...

bought this on sale and brought it home super excited to get it in and working. Then I realized, it needed a stronger power supply then the typical computer comes with. Including my little gaming machine. A bit of a hiccup there. Just a reminder, check the specks before you buy!

I'm a huge fan of AMD (ATI) but the R9 series had driver/heat issues. I thought I'd give NVidia gpus 1 more try. The results were great. No driver issues, Not heat issues and slightly more efficient then AMD's counterparts. Paired with an i7 4820k until I move up to an i7 5820k or 5930k =) As any tech in the world, always look for the bang for the bottom dollar. Always research what you buy.

I upgraded from a 560 gtx to this 770 gtx and I have yet to find a game that it doesn't tear through graphics. I maxed out Bioshock Infinite and had to do a complete play through over again because of the pure beauty you get from all of the detail.
