RING should provide better instructions. I tried to call. RING but their agent was very difficult to understand due to their heavy accent. I resolved the issue by reaching for a You Tube video which explained how to open the base without damaging the casing.

Sometimes it detects the smallest motion, others it misses people walking in front of it. But overall it is a good quality camera with improving opportunities.
