This is a late late late review. I was looking to get a second grip for my vita & just wanted to answer common Q’s I see in the reviews. Had this grip for at least 7 years & it still works like new. It will work w/most rectangle, screen protectors but be sure to position protector bottom edge as close to the bottom as possible. It works just fine with the official Sony charging cradle. It could be a bit “stickier”. It has a rubber texture but it’s a little slick at times but I’ve never dropped my vita so meh. The shoulder buttons drag just a bit. I’m nitpicking here but thats why 4 instead of 5 stars. The grip is durable & if not abused will last several years. I see no degradation of mine & it’s been used a heck of a lot.

....not to mention about $3 less than gamestop as I wrtite this. This grip is hard plastic, with a surprising good fit. Your Vita isn't going to fall out of these. All ports can be accessed without removing it. Helps alot when your playing for a long time, the oversized shoulder triggers are really nice and take no time to get used to. If your playing a game/app that only needs the front touch screen(Plants vs Zombies can be played that way#. This grip will let you set the Vita on the table/desk and help improve the viewing angle and give your hands a break. It raises the backside a little so the Vita is angled ~10 degree's. Not alot, but it helps. Why 4star?, I'd rather have seen a rubberized surface around the palm area#the wings if you will# of the grip, the plastic is comfortable but doesn't inspire a secure grip, it's just slightly slick feeling. It appears you'll have to remove it to use Sony's media stand/dock, easy enough to do however. I don't have one #yet) to know for sure. For refferance, a small driving/golf glove fits me but is so tight I have to wear a medium, which fits good but are a touch long in the fingers. That said, someone with smaller hands may find it harder to hold on to when playing games that also use the back touch screen. Got a case already? odds are high the grip will need to be removed to use the case. I'm still looking for a case that will hold the complete kit, power cords, vita, grip and memory cards. The PDP Pull and Go nearly works, if you remove and don't use the second internal case the Vita+grip will fit. But that case the power cords and adapter fit so fit it's annoying. Over-all it's good, I think $9.99 is a more realistic price. I'd have no problems recommending it, as long as your hands aren't to small.

Great extension of the PS Vita

Overall this is a nice extension to the PS Vita. Because I have slightly larger hands and there isn't much surface room when handling the Vita my hands would easily cramp and ache when playing games. I decided to buy this trigger grip case when I got my PS4, because the remote play allows the PS vita to interface with the PS4 I knew I'd be using the feature a lot and wanted something that would give me more of that Dualshock controller feel. For the price of $14, this accessory couldn't be better. Very easy to put on and take off too! Only wish they made a big enough case to where I didn't have to always take it off the system in order to store it. But overall it's worth it if your hands cramp and slip like mine do sometimes.

This accessory gives all new life to my Vita! I have big hands and when using the Vita my hands get tired real quickly so I will have to put it down just to relax my hands to avoid any cramps. With this trigger grip that is all in the past! I'm currently playing Killzone: Mercenary and have noticed a huge performance in gameplay since the triggers help me shoot better, not only that the grip also gives me comfort in moving my hands closer to the touch screen when accessing items and other things on the screen. Great buy for those looking for something to help them feel comfortable when playing the Vita! NOTE: This is only compatible with the old model of the Vita and will not work with the one bundled with Borderlands 2 which is known as the Vita 2000.

This completely transforms the vita for me. Before, it was awkward for my somewhat large hands to hold the vita comfortably and this grip made a huge difference and as a bonus you get the triggers which are also much easier to use than the shoulder buttons. Children probably wouldn't have much issue using the Vita without this grip but for bigger hands this is a must. If you're on the fence, get it! I looked at other grips and decided on this one for the triggers and I'm happy with my decision.

If you're a player of games like Killzone Mercenary on the Vita, then you'll probably want to pickup this accessory as the triggers will make a large difference in your ability to control your character. In addition, the grip is great for many games when playing your PS4 via remote play. The texture finish is great and the item isn't too expensive.

I bought this grip when I bought my Vita because my hands tend to cramp up when playing my 3DS XL without an ergonomic grip, and I figured the same thing would happen with the Vita. As it turns out I can play most games on the Vita without that problem, and only need to use this grip for playing certain games that make heavy use of the trigger buttons. The grip is very comfortable and I would love to leave it on all the time, but I do not because there is no protection for the screen. If this had a foldable screen shield built in it would be perfect. Instead I usually leave the Vita in a Hori Screen Shield case that I bought for it, and only swap it into this grip when I need it for those certain games.

While I didn't have any issues with holding the Vita, I got this around the time I purchases Killzone Mercenaries. I booted up the game with this grip attached and thought it worked very well, but it wasn't until I took the grip off that I realized just how much of a difference it made. Not to say the game can't be played well without the grip, but this guy makes it a more enjoyable experience. I haven't had any issues with the triggers not registering my inputs, but they do feel a little squishy. You press them and they press the actual triggers. For FPS is do prefer them, but I wish they could have been a tad better. Still, for the price, I can't really complain.

I bought this grip for my vita to play call of duty declassified on it. It works great as far as shooting goes, but if you want it to look good after too long, you may be slightly disappointed when the paint wears off from wear and tear. I liked that it provides a minimal amount of protection without being too bulky. Also, if you have a habit of accidentally touching the rear touch pad, this grip helps guide your hands away from the pad when you're not using it.

The trigger grips for the PS VITA are amazing. Before I bought these I was having a hard time using my VITA due to my big hands. The analog sticks are too far out forcing my thumbs to an awkward position. With this grip my VITA had been revitalized and is a pleasure to use it instead of a nuisance. The finish on the grips feels great and the quality is remarkable. I honestly cannot picture myself using my VITA without the grips. As a matter of fact I haven't taken off the grips since I firstput it on.

I purchased a PS4 about 2 weeks after it came out. When I heard about the Remote Play feature with a PS Vita where you could actually play ur games at home, and more importantly for me away from home, I was very intrigued. After doing some research I finally decided to pick one up. When I opened it I noticed right away how great looking this thing is. It has a very clear, big and bright touchscreen which is just so nice to play on. I will say that this thing took me a little while to get used to cause the controls can be a bit weird at first. The ability to hit certain parts of the rear touchpad can become a challenge at times when you are trying to use other buttons at the same time. The dual knobs are a great change from the single knob PSP design. While they do give you a much more similar feel to a dual shock controller the placement of the knobs can become a little uncomfortable. But again, like I said, give it some time to get used to it and you'll adapt to it just fine. Many people don't give this handheld enough credit in my opinion. Many people are under the impression that there are just not enough good games out to make it worth buying at 200 dollars. Thats what I thought at first too, but that is totally wrong. There are many MANY old and new titles for this thing, and sooooo many are soooo much fun. You can go to the playstation store and purchase games directly if you'd like. And what I have liked the most so far is that if you have a PS4 and subscribe to playstation network you get several new games for all three sony consoles each month. Lots of fun games, lots of cool features, and the perfect companion device for your new playstation 4. What are you waiting for?

When I bought the PS Vita, I didn't realize how uncomfortable it could be with my adult sized hands. These Trigger Grips really help relieve the strain your hands might get while playing. The shoulder buttons could have been better but for what they are, they aren't terrible.

I have large hands, and when I play my vita, I have to hold it awkwardly. After a while my hands cramp and it gets very uncomfortable. Since I started using these grips my hands feel much better. I am only giving 4 stars because they are getting rid of this model and don't carry it in stores anymore. This is for the 1000 series all the ones in the store are for 2000 series.

The grip fits perfectly for the new version of the PSVita. The only big issue with it is that the triggers are quite rough and after a while you just get annoyed. Other than that, no other big issue. Maybe spray the buttons with some WD40, (JOKING).

I actually like these trigger grips, gives you the feel like the sixaxis controller. With certain games it can be a little ackward but overall well worth the purchase. I have actually bought two of these and would highly recommend to friends and family.
