Perfect purchase for completing my surround sound for basic television and movie watching as well as music. Right size and sound for our 18 X 24 man cave.

This subwoofer is a great buy for the price. It has great sound. The frequencies are handled pretty well. It lacks some power for those who are wanting to shake the house, but If you're looking for something loud and powerful I would reccomend the Klipsh 450 watt sub. I returned this and got that and man!! It hits. But like I said , for the money this sub is well worth it if you're on a tight budget !

I have an older 10 inch 120 watt subwoofer that I bought from radio shack about 12 years ago that is still working great. My receiver has dual sub outputs so I have been wantinfg another sub for some time now so I got this one from polk. Its a great sounding sub just needs to broken in and for now I noticed that you have to turn the gain up past half to actual get this thing thumping. I think I lucked out with my radio shack sub they no longer make them but its still going strong I hope this polk last just as long.

Bought this as part of my surround sound and absolutely love the sound quality. I can feel the bass in my movies and music!

I purchased this sub to complete my home theater. The sub is a great size and offers really good sound quality.

My wife went out to buy me a new stereo after returning a bad purchase that I made. She said that she could hear it in the store but wasn't sure where it was coming from. Once she found out she asked for it and it was out of stock. But because of the quality of the sound she bought the floor model. It was a surprise to me and I love it. The man cave is almost complete.

Quality product as usual from Polk. Compatible with other equipment. Sound quality is good, more than enough power.

Great sound for movies - depth of bass and power is impressive. Good controls - but I have to turn down the volume for talk shows, news, etc as too much sub-woofer muffles the crispness out of voices. Overall great value addition to my setup.

Bought this on a budget wanting a quality sub. This is an affordable sub that is very powerful. Multiple connection variations allow for use with most tuner systems. I have the Denon AVR 987 driving this sub, and feel they are great for each other.

I finally finished my man cave and this was one the last pieces to finish my theater system. I like the sound, really punchy, full, and rich for the cost of the unit. It being my first powered sub, I had to spend some extra time setting up the sound settings in the receiver for the best sound. Don't use the box as a drink holder and the finish should hold up. Overall, it's a great unit.

This sub does a wonderful job throwing bass across a large room. It really added a level of depth I was not expecting. My front speakers do a good job with the bass but with the sub added, it sound much more realistic.

The only issue i really have with the sub is the auto power function. It will not always turn on when it needs to, and will turn off after a little bit. I got around this by just keeping the sub turned on all the time. Sub works great, sounds great. I bought a second one to replace the waterlogged Sony sub i had at my cabin.

Bought this with 6 Polk T15's and a Polk CS1 to complete a 7.1 surround setup. Matches other speakers well, blends into the room, and sounds great. I have no doubt there are nicer subs available, but not for the sale price Best Buy had on these. Tremendous value.

I bought this during Christmas when it was on sale. I have a set of DefTechs in another room and the sound quality is very similar. Polk is very similar to DefTech quality, since they were designed originally by the same guy. I used a calibration DVD to make sure the sound was optimized. I recommend this product if you are looking for a sub.

I was surprised by the amount of low frequency response for soap one for this size. Usually, you don't get good low-end out of anything less than a 12 inch driver. The only thing that I wish this unit had was a dedicated on-off switch that could turn the unit completely off when not being used.

Bought this for my son for his bedroom. Easy to set up and aesthetically pleasing. This sub woofer fills the room with deep rich bass. Tried it in the family room and doesn't quite do the job, but for the price, you can probably buy 2 for larger rooms. For a smaller room this speaker packs a lot of punch for the buck.
