Bought this for my newly finished basement. I needed a remote to handle tv/receiver/dish/apple tv. Very well made and super sleek. Spoke with customer service about creating an app that will turn all on and allow the system to go straight to Pandora. They were receptive and said they would email me on the progress. I have a Harmony One and Harmony Home Ultimate on the other floors of my house and I like this remote much better!

This remote is super cool! Hard to find to buy I will say but this remote is really awesome and easy to use. The set up was a breeze and it is intuitive to use. No reading of a manual just turn it on and use it. Very nice quality. Has a nice weight to it. And the touch screen is very responsive.

This unit is very easy to set up, I didn't realize that I had the hole thing done with in 1/2 hour. Here's the kicker when using the device it's very slippery hard to control, I use an iPhone and I don't have problems with them. The design of the unit makes it hard to control and some times you even press the button that you don't want. You can add buttons to your menu such as page down page up, when you set up the unit for the 1st time not there. Then were there located it will take both hands to control them. This is a remote control. Always has beed use by one hand, maybe the back side could have some texture, or even make a right hander and a left hander control format. For the price is ok. But remember you will have to use this everyday in the format that it has. I would like to get input on control with one hand if other people have purchased this device.

Apart from the super easy setup, impeccable build quality and great price - the people at Ray are Super Responsive. I've contacted them twice with feature suggestions only to find they were being rolled out to me in a matter of weeks. No more downloading big databases of devices to your PC to program your Logi**** Harm*** remote (which cost me more than Ray 5 years ago!!). This just works - and having the ability to browse stations and programming content is fantastic. Now if only I could automate my light switches with it (hint, hint). Get one today - you will be truly amazed. Recommended...

I wanted to try a new remote to replace all the mess. This remote is unique. It was very easy to set up. Still missing a few features, but overall a wonderful piece of technology!

    Not Ready fro Prime Time

Remote is well thought of and designed but it not ready for Prime Time. I ended up returning. The main reason was I have 2 new Sony latest models and both have directv client built in. The remote so far has no support for it and had a workaround which makes no sense as it than loses its smartness. As previous poster posts have to click a few things to get things done. Another issue is that it has no ir blasters and so depends on third party hardware. Most of my equipment is hidden and so it was not functional at all. The only reason i Gave it 3 stars is because their customer service is exceptional and they go over and beyond to try and solve things. Maybe they will listen to us and add those things in and I would give it a try again but for now it is not functional as a smart remote. My harmony is way ahead even with its quirks and works as intended too.

Ray is fantastic. I now have a drawer full of remotes collecting dust instead of sprawled all over my coffee table. Sleek design, compact, nice weight in hand. Pretty easy self guiding set up. Easy to add new connecting devices. Recharges pretty quickly on docking station, but lasts a few days fully charged. Easy on/off, mute and volume on side. Can navigate through menus with sharp touch screen. Ray is now my TV buddy. It has learned my TV viewing habits and makes suggestions. If it could only go the the fridge and get me a beer...

Not ready for prime time! Clunky hard to use

I bought this because I was sick and tired of Logitech sync issues and frankly just tired of Harmony. I have owned every version of Harmony out there including Elite (latest one) but lately, Logitech is not the greatest anymore. With constant updates and Sync issues and just not a smooth touchscreen and interface I wanted to see what else was out there. Decided to take a chance on this one and after having it a few days, it is okay, a few quirks here and there. Set up out of the box was simple, connect to WiFi and start connecting your devices and boom you are in business. Home screen is something to get used to, having only a few options, it did what it was supposed to do but it took a few tries to play around with certain functions etc. to make it work smoothly. One thing I cannot stand with it, is being half way across the large room I have and it won't switch channels due to the fact you have to be somewhat close to the device and be pointing directly at it or it won't work. At least Harmony has IR blasters to help solve this issue and you can be anywhere in the room and those work. Touchscreen on this is like an iPhone, and swiping to fast forward or move around the screen is something to get used to as well. I can get used to those things, but not sure yet if this is for me. I do like having physical buttons on a remote at times and having just a touchscreen I am not sure about yet. I may keep one more day and just return this since I am not sure this is ready for prime time and although seems like a good device, it still has quirks that I am not liking. UPDATE: too many extra steps to get this device to do what you need it to do and I have a simple set up and I am technology advanced. Not ready for release and not a company I can back. Returned it! Bottom line this is not the Super remote it claims to be and other reviewers must not of ever used a Logitech because they are way ahead of these guys!

This remote is fantastic. It's simple to set up, responsive, easy to use and replaces my clunky Logitech universal remote. Not only is the device great, the support team at Ray are brilliant too. If you have any questions etc there's an easy way to send them via the remote, and they respond incredibly quickly. Software updates add useful features (and are downloaded/installed without you having to do a thing). The user experience and build quality with Ray is superb and extremely well thought out.
