In all honesty, I feel that this product should be included with the base product. The unit was simple to setup, the foot print is small enough that it's not intrusive and it doesn't block the other open plug of the outlet, and the sound it makes is quite pleasant and not startling like a traditional doorbell typically is. My house has 2 floors and I plugged this in an outlet in the living room downstairs. I don't think this unit is really loud or strong enough to wake me upstairs if the doorbell rang, so I feel like I'll end up getting another unit for upstairs.

I recently purchased the Ring floodlight and the Ring Chime. They were a breeze to install and only took about 30 minutes to get them up and displaying 1080p video on my new Note 8 phone. The installation is very user friendly and if you already have an existing floodlight , it is really easy to swap out the lights. The chime unit is loud and all you have to do is plug it in and follow the simple online instructions to set the wifi and sound you want it to play...You can even log in to your Ring floodlights on Any computer... the only downfall i have found is you can't control the videos from your computer. You can only see what has already been activated and recorded so there is a slight delay.. but of course you can control the floodlight system from your smart phone...I LOVE this system and plan to get the Ring doorbell as soon as I save up the money... thanks Ring....

Our new house didn’t have a wired connection for the doorbell, so we bought this chime! I love it! It’s easy to set up and to use! I love all the options for the chimes, and it is so small that we can still use the second plug for something else. It’s got great sound and is loud enough (or soft enough whatever you prefer) that I can hear it all throughout the house. Great buy to go with the ring doorbell camera!

We have 2 Ring doorbells and 1 Ring security light and I have the Chime extenders in my home, but when I’m in my backyard I wouldn’t know if someone came to our home if I didn’t have my phone with me so I ordered this and plugged it in at our patio and it works great. Now we easily know when someone comes to the house and the chime can easily be heard anywhere in our backyard because the sound is loud enough. This was a great addition to our Ring system. No one can sneak up on us now.

Installation was a breeze, maybe 10 minutes total. Setup was simple. The battery took forever to charge but no complaints other that that. So far it is working exactly as expected. We’ve already had a kid walk up and walk away once they saw the camera. I also like that this model is secured through the door and the battery is inside where it can stay warm and work properly.

I appreciate a product as Ring. It fits onto the wall blending with switches. It is loud enough to here over the tv or stereo playing.

Super easy to set up. I love the variety of ring tone options. I can hear it whether I am upstairs or down. Definitely would recommend it anyone.

I REALLY like the Chime. It linked easily to my Ring. I Love the fact that there is a variety of notification sounds to choose from. The sound is clear well as the volume. I also like the fact that it has the word Ring illuminated, hence if it so happens to be knocked offline or is not connected the illumination would not be present. This was a Great Buy.

When your phone ringer is muted it’s nice to have this chime to hear when someone rings the doorbell. You can also set it up so it chimes when movements are detected by the camera.

I totally love the Ring Chime and the ring doorbell 2 as well cause you can see who is at your door and speak to them from your phone.

I purchased this Ring Chime because I couldn't tell if someone was at my front door if I was in my bedroom and my phone was in the living room so I purchased this chime and it works great. Now I can be in another room and still hear if someone is at my door.

I am happy with this chime. I have paired it with my ring doorbell 2 and it works great! The setup was very simple. Just go to the ring doorbell app and follow the instructions to add a device.

The Ring Chime is easy to pair with the Ring Camera using the Ring app. It can be set to a sound for the door bell and for motion with two different sounds. I'm Glade I invested in the Ring Chime.

If you have a ring doorbell the ring chime is a must

At first I bought the Ring Chime plus.. but then I realized that the regular chime was all I needed. Great Product. Multiple Alert Sounds.. You can set the volume as loud or as quiet as you like. A+

You need to get this accessory for your Ring Doorbell. Don't hesitate. The volume is good & the 2 sounds for motion & ring is perfect. Buy more if home is big & you need a good range router signal also.

We had difficulty hearing the doorbell sound when in the master bathroom. After purchasing the Ring video doorbell pro, it was a no-brainer that getting this device will resolve that issue. Installation was super easy, all you have to do was plug it and connect it to your home WIFI through the mobile application. We placed this device in the master bathroom and now, we are able to hear and know when someone is at the front door regardless of the place we are in the house. It is a great addition and we love it. Highly recommended without reservation.
