This is a very well built stand! HEAVY, but it comes in 2 flat boxes. Didn't get 5 stars because of all the time it took me to put together. Took me about 3-4 hours due to subpar directions. Tons of pieces. HOWEVER, once put together, you can tell the amazing durability that it will provide. This is not your el Cheapo Ikea stand....you get what you pay for. Plus love the sleek modern black look w/ silver accent. The doors are nice....my PS3 does get very hot in it though....you might want to open the doors if running components in there. Definitely recommend looking into this if you're going to get a huge TV on it....I've got my 80 inch TV on it and it fits great!

This Furniture cabinet is very expensive and is missing center front doors, I was lead to belive at store when ordering that there were 1-door on each end, which there was and 2-center doors which there was not. Had service tech assemble at my home due to purchase of entire home system TV, 4K DVD, Speakers etc. However the tech was "Not" good on the furnite assembly, great on the home theater set-up, but lacking on the furniture assembly, so parts may have been missing and I do know that some parts were not installed because they were still not on the cabinet and the side doors did not close properly and he striped threads on the hinges and assembled some parts upside down etc..Lead svc tech says he is looking into fixing this problem or replacing the cabinet, however nothing done as of this time August 13, 2016.

Easy to put together but not the best instructions. We wanted to hide play station, receiver, blue ray, cable box and cabinets are big enough and adjustable shelves to be able to hide from baby. The back of unit works very well with cables and no more having to put holes in to accomplish this! I just wish middle section had drawers instead of open shelves so we could hide movies from baby.

It took longer to assemble than anticipated . but i felt comfortable with the quality of the parts. Website for delivery and scheduling could have been more obvious I stumbled upon the section where I could choose my own delivery date , but worked flawlessly .

The only reason I did not give this product a 5 star rating had nothing to do with the quality or construction of this stand, which is great by the way-it was due to poor assembly instructions that are included. I consider myself mechanically inclined and I'm used to a picture only assembly guide, that is when an actual legend is used for the exact bolts/nuts/whatever is shown as well. With what was supplied in the box and with nothing about assembly instructions on Salamander's web site for this particular stand I spent about 3-4 hours on this stands assembly. A better set of instructions would have gone a long way in my mind and would have cut the assembly down to an acceptable hour, or less.

Best Buy delivered on time as promised. A very well built stand. My 85 inch Sony TV fits perfectly. I would highly recommend!

Overall, this is a nice stand. But even though it is nice, my overwhelming thought on this is "I can't believe that this thing was $1,800". I have no problem spending big $$$ on furniture. I just think that the price isn't justified on this stand. I think that this would be a really good $999 stand. For $1,800 it should be perfect and it isn't. The instructions were horrible, but I've put enough things together that I was able to get it done. (IMO, for $1,800 it should arrive assembled) My biggest issue was fit and finish. I had to really force the internal side panels to get them fully inserted. Then the aluminum posts were a little off when I placed the top panel on. I had to really struggle to get them to line up to bolt on the top panel. For $1,800 that should not happen. Again, once finished it does look nice but not $1,800 nice. I have another Salamander Synergy stand. It is older and is Maple. The Maple has a much more premium look than the black which is what I bought this time. If I had to do it again, I'd get the Maple/black posts rather than Black/aluminum posts. Lastly, my remotes really struggled with the perforated doors. So I still had to add a wired IR repeater.

The TV console looks great with my 80 inch TV. There wasn't to many options for tv's this size that i liked. This one is awesome. The sleek black look and size of the shelves for my components are what attracted me to it. It's very well made and a heavy unit. It has no problem holding everything I have on it. It's was easy to put together taking about 1.5 hours. I'm glad I chose this unit.

What can I say about this TV stand? This is the only TV stand that was able to hold our 80 inches LG TV. It looks very elegant and it is very sturdy as well. I have got a lot of compliments from friends on this TV stand. The only downside of this TV stand is the price
