I love this fridge. French doors allow a full view of everything inside. Additionally the counter depth is better for me because things don't get lost in the back like they do with deeper units. I was worried about the ice maker but it produces plenty of ice for a 2 person household. The freezer drawer is very useful for organizing frequently used frozen items. It is just a perfect refrigerator.

My old fridge wasn't producing ice (typical frozen motor) so I thought it was time to upgrade. This fridge will not disappoint. We went to a counter depth, because the old fridge stook out and was some what blocking the entrance to the kitchen. What a difference!! This fridge made our kitchen look bigger. Also, it only took a couple of hours to reach 0 degrees,so we can transfer our frozen foods from the cooler. Time will tell if the motor on this freezes to prevent making ice, but its gorgeous.

Although sleek, energy efficient, water and ice. It seems that capacity is half the size. Even though it’s double French doors. It’s size is quite deceiving. Fridge is just good for a single or two people. Definitely not for family

We wanted to replace our old refrigerator. We choose this model after a lot of research. The dimension of this model was perfect for our kitchen space. Best buy was the perfect place to shop. The refrigerator was delivered and installed very professionally. We are very happy with our decision.

The space is great in the upper part. The freezer looks crowded and it doesn't allow many changes or accomodations.

I had this fridge delivered in Feb 2018. It fit perfectly, and actually seems to run pretty well. After about a year and a month (just outside of Warranty - go figure) the left door stopped sealing. The seal on the left side of the left door, and at the bottom, the seal won't engage. If you take all the shelves out, and look at the material of the inner door just below the ice tunnel, you can see it's warped. I started looking into it online and saw that a common side affect of this is Moisture buildup inside the fridge. My ice has always had a weird amount of buildup on it, but I always just chalked it up to a weird ice maker. It's been this way from the beginning. So, this leads me to believe that it has always had this problem and I'm just now realizing it. It's a shame really - I'm trying to work with Samsung Warranty support, but I'm not hopeful. Chalk it up to my own ignorance, but I still think you should avoid this product given it's obvious manufacture defect out of the box.

Had to get a counter-depth fridge due to space constraints with our cabinets, and did a ton of research before settling on this one. Overall have been pleased with the performance of the fridge itself, though we've only had it three weeks. More spacious inside than our old side-by-side and flexible in terms of configuration. Same with the freezer, like the pull-out shelf. Ice & water dispenser is quick. Only real complaints: - A few of the interior door shelves are tough to use because they're so narrow (due to the position of the icemaker)- very minor - Surface smudges easily- very minor - More importantly, the hinges on top of the fridge extend much further back than I thought they would, a full 10" from the front of the fridge. Because of this, the fridge will not slide all the way back into the space that we have for it. We are going to have to try to cut into the bottom of the cabinet above the fridge, which is a pain, but necessary if we want to keep the fridge and have it not stick out several inches farther than we want it to into the kitchen. If we can't make that work, we're going to try to return this and get the non-counter-depth version, which would end up looking the same as this one, but give us a few extra cubic feet of storage space and cost $100 less.

I am very pleased with this purchase based on my needs. Fridge & freezer maintain temperature well & are monitored & can be changed on the door digital readout. Size works well for 3 to 4 people. Well lit inside & adjustable shelves provide many options. Love the ones that flip up or slide back... Easy. Was concerned about space depthwise inside since this is counter depth but it hasn't been a problem. The fridge sticking out another 6 to 8 inches in my kitchen layout would have really bothered me so I am really glad counter depth worked so well inside and out. (They do cost more so wouldn't get unless you really want/need due to space) Also love the filtered ice & water thru door. Makes a huge difference over tap. For me the only issue is the outside is a fingerprint/smudge monster. Looks wonderful clean & I really wanted Samsung based on all of my research so yes overall I am pleased with my purchase.

    Great counter-depth fridge

I've been using this fridge for about a month now. So far so good. I like that it's counter-depth and even though it would not actually sit flush with the cabinets due to the water outlet that juts out from the wall behind the fridge, it still is much better than if I had gotten a full-depth fridge. The inside of the fridge is spacious enough for our small family, and I like the adjustable shelves. The shelves on the left door are too small to be practical in my opinion, but I think of it as an acceptable trade-off for having water and ice through the door since I still have enough space for my groceries in the rest of the fridge. Leveling the fridge was a pain. The instructions said it was supposed to be leveled from front to back and also from left to right. We tried hard to make it level from front to back and it was impossible, and only then I read online that it was supposed to tilt slightly backwards to deal with frost problems or something. 4 stars for being a great fridge in general but with some impracticalities and problems with the instruction manual.

We love our refrigerator. Great storage. We are very happy with the counter depth option. It looks better and it is much easier to find stuff in the refrigerator. I feel like less food gets wasted. My only two complaints would be the ice maker make a mess unless you have a cup with a wide opening. Also the drawer in the freezer section is a little weird. It is easiest to partial open the freezer drawer then push the top drawer back because is you open the freezer drawer all of the way open it hard to push the upper drawer back. Besides that works great! We have had it for 15 months now.

Delivered somewhat on time (at the VERY end of the pretty wide delivery window) by really professional, courteous guys. Worried about getting scratches on the wood floors but they did a fabulous job. The fridge itself was a special order due to our need for counter depth. Going from a side-by-side to a French door does make everything much easier to see and to access. The door pockets, due to the counter depth, are really narrow on the ice/water side. A little silly and frankly difficult to fit anything in those but not a huge deal. The other reviews have mentioned the loud compressor and the loud slow ice maker. I will concur with that. It's not so loud that you can hear it in other rooms, but I definitely walked to the fridge a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. It's fine, just takes some getting used to. And it really doesn't make lots of ice or make it very quickly so if you have a big party, plan to buy ice. Again, it's not a big deal. We are very happy with it.

    Disappointing Ice maker

We wanted our entire kitchen suite to match, and only Samsung had the stove we wanted (dual fuel, flex door with removable partition). We love the stove, microwave and dish washer, but the ice maker is extremely disappointing on this fridge. Storage and layout inside the fridge is great, though. When you select crushed ice, there's no consistency in the size of chunks you get. Some are mere shavings while others are 3/4 of a typical cube. When you select cubes, most that come out are broken. I'd give up on matching appliances to have working ice.

    Amazing Refrigerator

We are in the process of remodeling our home. We purchased this refrigerator along with a Samsung gas range and dishwasher. We had new kitchen cabinets built and installed prior to the refrigerator being installed. We had our cabinetmaker "box in" the space for the refrigerator with side panels and overhead cabinets, creating a "hole" that the refrigerator slides into and results in the refrigerator being completely enclosed and the front flush with the front of our cabinets/countertops. We have only had the refrigerator a few days now, but so far we absolutely love it! I was a little worried when we first started considering counter depth refrigerators that we would be losing a significant amount of space compared to the full size models. But that is not the case at all! This refrigerator has tons of space inside with several large drawers and lots of room for large containers (gallon size) in the shelves on each door. The freezer is huge as well. I had read some reviews before we purchased this that said the refrigerator was noisy and sometimes very loud. I have not found that to be even remotely accurate. This refrigerator is super quiet! We are beyond 100% satisfied with this refrigerator and look forward to getting many years of good use out of it!

Got this to replace a fairly new, similar model that makes the rounds under about 10 different brand names (KitchenAid, Dacor, Electrolux, Frigidaire, etc.). That one turned to junk in about 2 years of use. By comparison, this Samsung blows them away. Less of an industrial look on the outside but pleasing nonetheless. Significantly more interior space. The lighting is excellent and the drawers (which have broken on the "better" model) are on rollers. The innovative fold-up shelves are great for varying the use of the unit without moving/removing shelves. The only thing the other model wins at is the ice maker. I'm not crazy about the maker on the Samsung. It is noisy. And the advertising on this model brags about the capacity, but it barely holds enough to fill a 1/2 gallon pitcher. I also wish the compressors were quieter - surprising at this price range. Don't get me wrong, this unit isn't "loud", it's just louder than I would have liked. Still, it is quieter than what i've heard from similar models. This is a great refrigerator, especially if you can get it on sale.

We love the this model. It is not super deep, has nice separated storage, and works well. This has been in use for just over a month now and we are very happy with it. If you have a larger family, definitely get a model offering more cubic feet of storage. But there are two of us in the house and it is an excellent size for us. My only complaint is the ice maker, I was spoiled by my previous Kenmore's maker as it was a beast! This ice maker capacity is adequate for two, even in Sweatville (Florida.) The problem is that it takes FOREVER to fill a glass with cubes when using the door dispenser. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the purchase.
