I purchased the pedestals because I didn't like how low to the ground the washer and dryer sits. I have a large laundry room with a closet and lots of shelving so I didn't need it nor do I use it for the storage but I suppose that would be nice for someone with a tighter space in the laundry room. I like that the color matches the machines exactly as well. I do think $250/each is a bit pricey for what they are but I guess they all get you that way because no one wants their machines sitting low to the ground.

Great pedestals very sturdy and good height also has drawer for storage.

I purchased a pedestal stand for my Samsung washer and dryer. Couldn't imagine not having them. The higher clearance really helps with stress on the back.

Love my washer and dryer pedestals! We didn't purchase the pedestals when we purchased our washer and dryer because I didn't want to spend the money and didn't think we would need them. Well....after months of bending over we purchased them and it was the best decision we have ever made! Plus now I can store my cleaning cloths, fabric softener and detergent in them!

Unless you are willing to build a custom installation these are essential to get the washer and dryer up to a reasonable height for loading and unloading. Just my opinion, but I replaced my top-loading washer and dryer and I never cared for having to practically crawl into the old dryer to get things out of the back. These provide just enough height that I don't need to do that any longer.

I'm glad for the pedestals for both my washer and dryer as I have back trouble and so bending down too low would be a problem for me. With the pedestals, I don't have to worry about bending, and can enjoy using both items. My Samsung front load washer also doesn't have a smell like my previous washer (another brand). I love my products from Best Buy.

This adds the perfect height to both my washer & dryer. I don't know what I would do without them just don't like the price!

Like most people, we debated getting the pedestals. While the cost is still a stretch, the extra storage and the fact that machines are raised to a height perfect for loading and unloading bring some comfort to the sticker shock. One drawer can hold to Costco sized bottles of detergent, along with a bottle Spray and Wash easily. This storage space is much appreciated as it de-clutters our laundry room.

So nice to have the laundry up so I do not have to bend over... I'm only in my mid 30s, but we have kids and are doing laundry ALL THE TIME! This makes life so much nicer. You would spend more in medical bills to fix your back (after doing a ton of laundry) than to buy this pedestal. A must have!

Having this stand makes it much easier to remove clothes and put in the dryer. Much easier on the back when the units are just set on the floor.

I purchased this with my new washer and when everything was delivered I realized that it would make my shelves unreachable with it under the washer. I sent it back to the store. I would have loved to have it as the washer would have set up more making it easier to reach inside of the washer to retrieve laundry. Also would have loved the extra, out of sight, storage space.

My wife loves them, brings the loading point to her height so she doesn't have to lean over to load the units. Pretty easy install, you obviously need a second person to help lift the units onto the pedestals. Kind of expensive at $280 each, but well worth it in the end.

Wish I would have realized how much easier this made it to empty both washer and dryer. I would have made this purchase a long time ago

Imagine an upright washer turned on its side facing you. This is the best way I can describe a front loader. Therefore the front loader sits much lower than your dryer. The laundry pedestal has a drawer in it with a divider 3/4 of the way over. You cannot move the divider. All I really store in it are the instructions to the washer. My detergents are liquid so I will not risk laying one on its side. Same is true with my fabric softener. You cannot even place your laundry basket on top of it so that you can load it properly. The only benefit this pedestal serves is to reduce bending over to wash your clothes. It is over priced and really would only recommend it to people who don't wish to bend over or hurt their knees by kneeling down. I leave that choice to individual discretion.
