I have really enjoyed this washer! I've had it for about a month now, and everything seems to be working smoothly. I absolutely LOVE how simple it is to use-- incredibly user friendly. No agitator, so it's kinder to your clothes. It is a bit hard for me to reach the bottom of the drum (I'm only 5'2) but I remedied this with a stool for a slight boost. I went onto Samsung's website and they recommended powder detergent(less sudsy) so that's what I've been using and I haven't had an issue with longer than expected run times for any selected option. Thanks to another reviewer, I have been using cleaning vinegar instead of fabric softener (which has been working so well) to help decrease chances of mold or wasteful water rinsing cycles. I adore the cute jingle when the wash is complete, it just makes me smile. I actually look forward to doing laundry with the set. Happy I purchased the 5yr extended warranty though, as the manufacturers warranty expired even before it was delivered.

From the moment it was delivered it was great. First, basement floor is slanted. The adjustable feet made it easy to level the washer with a small leveler. Then once it plugged up it’s flashy and beautiful. The color scheme is a great choice. It washes clothes great, they smell like the fabric softener when done, the spin cycle spins super fast but extra remely quiet. My favorite features are the separate bins for bleach, detergent, and fabric softener. There is a max for each one which stops the youngins from pouring a half bottle in each load. It calibrates before every load by determining the weight of the load and trying to shift it evenly. This feature is fancy but adds to the already long wash times. Do yourself a favor and load clothes as evenly as possible. In summary, I think everything is great about this washer with the exception of the very long wash times. (Guess it’s a no agitator thing!)

This Washer is very nice Quality and is a pleasure to use . I just got rid of a 3 yr old Maytag that fell apart. For a little more money than a Maytag there is no Comparison.. This Machine is a bargin and works Great. No need to spend anymore $

I am absolutely in LOVE with this washer! It is super quiet and very big! I couldn't have asked for a better washer! Especially when I had it delivered, it was very quick and easy! They were in and out and everything was ready to go! No complaints what so ever!

This washer has a great tub size. Love the catchy tune when a load is finish. Like when the machine light up to remind you to self cleaning.

Our GE washer died and we decided on this Samsung. Much larger than our old one and definitely higher tech with its digital display and settings.

This is a great product! I have roommates so I love the separate section for the detergent and bleach. The different wash cycles are nice as well! Very glad we updated!

Worst Samsung product ever. A washer that doesn’t clean the clothes after 80min of water and power consumption is ridiculous. How BB ended up selling this without proper research?

I just bought this washer and dryer set 3 weeks ago replacing a 15 year old set. I had high hopes for the washer as the newest reviews said the leak on the deep wash setting had been fixed. I’ve used it on all settings. I will admit it’s an attractive washer that makes the clothes smell clean. I like that it weighs the clothes to determine how much water is needed. I have also gotten a chance to wash a King size duvet. It performed fairly well. The sounds are really cute too...Moving on....Deep wash actually started out ok. I got 3 non-consecutive washes in on deep wash with no leak at all. I was thrilled until one day I walked into my laundry room to find water leaking from the right side... a puddle of water. I’m not sure why.. The machine wasn’t overloaded and washed normally that I can tell. Thank goodness I have concrete floors in this area. However, this could potentially ruin someone’s floors if it was another flooring material. I read another review about staying basic and not needing deep wash.. I’m basic too, but when you pay this kind of money, every feature needs to work. It’s about quality and how the appliance is SUPPOSED to operate. I need deep wash for my boy’s baseball and football clothes as well as towels. I don’t feel there’s enough water in the tank on the normal setting to get tough stains and odors out of those items. There should be no leak, and I should be able to use whatever feature I desire. Samsung GET IT TOGETHER! If you’re going to venture into appliances outside of TVs, they need to be top notch. Otherwise, please stick to TVs.

There are dozens of "LEAKY" reviews on this particular model of washer, most of which were posted for the year of 2017. I repeat, 2017! There is one review for 2018, in which the reviewer states that their machine leaks on the Deep Cycle, but I can't confirm when that particular model was actually purchased. It appears that Samsung did have a production problem with the earlier model of this machine in 2017, which was finally addressed and corrected. When the Best Buy installer came to our home to hook-up our new machine, I did ask him about previous complaints of leakage during the Deep Cycle. He also confirmed that there was a problem with the machines produced last year, but he has not heard of any complaints with the machine since Samsung tweaked something in the motherboard. GOOD News. So far I have tested my machine on the Deep Cycle wash, regular washes etc. NO LEAKING. YES! The Samsung so far, is efficient, and super quiet. Controls are super easy to understand, and uncomplicated. What I don't need is an highly complicated instruction manual to figure out how to use a washing machine. Our clothes consistently come out clean and fresh. This machine will weigh your clothes once you put them into the drum and add the correct amount of water. If you have an older washing machine, I bet you have to set the water level. On the Samsung, just add your laundry detergent, closed the lid and turn it on. Samsung has worked out the previous bugs, so feel safe with purchasing this model. Enjoy your new washer.

Before purchasing this washer, I looked at all the possibilities in my price range. This included reading some reviews, comparing prices at different stores, capacities and features etc. I decided on this washer for its large capacity, features, and price. After ordering it, I read even more reviews on it. That's when I wondered if I had made a mistake. Lots of the reviews were less than favorable. I decided I would make up my own mind when I got the washer and used it. And used it. And used it. I mean multiple heavy uses with full loads and with all settings. After putting it through the paces of my normal "routine" I concluded that this washer is well worth it. It cleans my clothes quietly and quickly. I have not experienced any of the problems that others mentioned in their reviews. One word of caution however when buying a large capacity washer. If you don't buy the dryer that it is supposed to be paired with (which I didn't because my old dryer still works fine) it may not be worth it. My dryer is too small to handle the full washed load, which I didn't even think about! DOOH! Oh well, I still love this washer.

I understand that technology at times can be "enhanced" or degrade when it should actually be much better and mature with time. Certain appliances like refrigerators, washers, and even TVs...well they don't have the longevity like the Old School - older products. This particular washer I read about in reviews. I had to take at least a week to research what I wanted....my budget, but longevity. So I found this at a price around $500. Other older style washers costed similar but this had a digital display for time/trouble codes. It had a tinted see-thru top window. It didn't have the huge annoying roller in the middle of the washer. It's an intelligent washer. Makes a very cool sound when turned on and set to the wash style, desired. If you use the Normal Setting it utilizes water up to 50% of the machine. I like that it automatically offers a high speed spin for the last 10 or so minutes of it's cycle. The size of the machine is larger then the older styled conventional washing machines. When it's done with it's workload, it doesn't buzz...it actually makes a very catchy, yes CUTE music for like 20-30 seconds. Yes it has the impression of the Ice Cream Man, in a way. So I believe with how much water it consumes and the amount of space and the spin it provides, it makes the machine - efficient. The spin is strong enough to ring out your clothes pretty well. Rather than using your dryer for 55-70 mins with old washers....you can use your dryer for 40-50 mins. I did also read about the "deep water cycle" from reviewers and how the users got leaks from the machine from using this wash cycle. I myself, am afraid of trying it. I'll stay basic. If you can get this machine - new for $499..it may be the best money you may have invested in something. (well so far so good) last note, I did get the geek squad protection because ANY washing machine of the present, can possibly die out on you....so no risks being warranty free.....get it. I HOPE this and other reviews help. I've tried to be in detail as best as I can. Thank You Again :)

I got this set for my mom, love it! Energy efficient, easy to use, quiet, fits perfect in a small space, and it makes such a huge difference with our clothing. We had an old, old washer/dryer set and I washed everything on delicate because my clothes were so beat. With this washer, it’s gentle on your clothes and even better.... the drum is huge so I can fit twice as much laundry without it even being over loaded. I know some top loader washers can make a ‘banging’ sound while running but ours hasn’t - I’ve only noticed it ever so slightly when we wash sheets or other bulky items. Over all I love it, we’ve had it three months. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the dryer... has stopped working - the heating element crapped out yesterday. Waiting on Samsung for a fix.

I haven't had this washer very long and have only washed 5 or 6 loads but so far, so good. We bought this washer for our Florida condo, putting it in a large closet. It is quiet and has the anti-vibration, which is wonderful being in a condo! I have washed bedding, towels, delicates and permanent press items and all have turned out fine! I love the flexibility in being able to change settings and not having all settings defaulting to manufacturer settings. This is my first top load with no agitator. I have heard that some people have issues with wrinkled clothes (not sure what brands they were using) but I have not had any issues. I wash the majority of my Florida clothes on delicate and they come out less wrinkled than my Ohio front load washer!
