Bought the H7150 55" LCD TV online as a Black Friday deal and used the in-store pick up option to avoid most of the store craziness. I did a lot of research and was hesitant at first b/c of all issues some people reported but figured this was the best TV for the money (all TV's had some bad reviews). Some issues I read about were: weak wi-fi reception, smart feature buggy-ness, and "panel lottery" issues. I've owned the TV for a little over a month. so here is a list of pros and cons so far: Pros/Cons in each bullet: -The picture quality is excellent. The anti-reflective coating is much better than my 5 year old Samsung LCD TV. Model number/option shows up as a genuine Samsung panel. Although the viewing angle is supposed to be relatively small (according to other reviews and articles) I haven't noticed any issues (sitting around 7.5ft away off-angle). There is some backlight bleed in the bottom 2 corners but not enough that I'd return the TV. -Smart TV features work great with minimal lag when using or switching between Apps. I didn't initially care or buy this TV for the smart features but it has worked surprisingly well. Wi-Fi didn't work out of the box but using wired internet and updating the Firmware fixed this issue. Netflix app did crash once and it took me a couple hours of resetting Smart Hub to factory defaults, re-installing apps, and changing settings to finally get it working again (hopefully it doesn't crash again). Youtube mirroring from a device works pretty good but is someone buggy. There is a lot of buffering and freezing at times when trying to access a playlist or creating a queue. Simply playing searching and playing videos directly seems to work okay. - Other apps: HBO GO, Spotify, Amazon Instant, Reddit and Screen Mirroring from a Samsung Note 4 all have worked GREAT (pretty fast and stable). -Turn On time of the TV is only a few seconds (usually). Although, sometimes I feel like I need to press the "On" button a few times before it registers (maybe I need more clearance from my soundbar). -Sound not as bad as I would have though coming from such a thing TV; but I still bought a sound bar with wireless Sub, that stepped up more than a few notches. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Hopefully it continues to work great for years to come. I didn't run any very involved technical audio video tests on it (except a completely dark screen shot). My observations are purely from regular use (OTA TV, streaming videos, etc).

Awesome tv. Wish I got the 65 inch but either way has a really slick look and is perfect for living room. Picture quality is the best out there and the smart tv functions are easy to use.

I bought this TV at the end of April to replace a defective Panasonic ST50 that I had the extended warranty on. Overall, I am happy with the TV. The picture quality is good for a LED/LCD TV. The sound could be better but could be worse. I have a sound system hooked up, so the sound isn't a deal breaker for me. I liked everything about my Plasma that I had before this TV except the TV had bad image retention on it. I would get image retention on the screen when a static image was on the screen for less than 10 seconds and I found that to be very annoying. This shouldn't have happened considering I kept the settings low and had a year and a half watch time on the tv. This tv handles motion well, it has nice colors, the smart feature is nice, I really like the thin bezil and stand, it looks nicer than the F7100 series. Overall, I think this is a nice TV.

very pleased with picture quality. Set up was not overwhelming. Learning what makes it a "Smart TV" is ongoing but will get there after all that was the reason for the purchase.

This TV has about the best picture that we've seen. We don't need a sound bar for regular TV, but we might need one for the new Samsung Blu-ray Player. It was very easy to setup and download the update to USB. There are lots of features. We have not been online with the TV and the good thing is you don't have to ever go online. Best Buy was the Best to deal with on all our purchases. I tried to upload a pic, but timedout.

Needed a new 55" tv but don't feel the 4k options are ready for prime time, nor is there content for them. With that I was after the best looking 1080p HDTV I could find and for me, the picture on this fit the bill. Honestly I had no interest in the smart tv features nor the 3d, but the smart tv is actually very nice. I still don't care about 3d :-) All in all I'm extremely happy with the purchase. There's some artifacts and tearing during action scenes but no more than you expect from any other HD tv. Definitely recommend it.

We got this because we wanted a 3D tv. The price was great over the holidays, under $1000 for a 55" 3D tv is a nice deal. We haven't been disapointed...the colors are bright and it's very clear. In fact, the resolution is so great that we can now see pixels in some .mp4 files that we watch. You will notice when something is not broadcast in 1080p or has just been upscaled, that's the only downside. I don't remember being bothered by this when watching our other 45" lcd, but the resolution wasn't as nice as this one. Watching something in HD & 3D with Motion Plus turned on, it's quite a treat! Media server access directly from the tv is a great feature.

We were going back and forth on the Samsung curve and decided to wait for the price to come down. We purchased this 65 inch Samsung smart TV instead for the master bedroom wall. It not only looks amazing, it mounts easily to the wall, but the smart TV capabilities are wonderful. We don't even need the apple TV anymore to access Netflix and Hulu, but it even has Amazon Prime built into the app station. Great picture quality, great smart TV capabilities, and very easy to mount on the wall. Thanks Bestbuy

I bought this TV for Thanks Giving and this was a very good buy. Pros ***** - > Awesome smart remote. - > 3D is amazing. - > Super Stylish. - > Absolutely sleek. Cons ****** - > Problem with YOUTUBE APP. The only noticeable issue I faced so far is the YOUTUBE app on the TV. It is dead slow and have to restart the TV everytime I try navigate fast while using this app. Samsung has to make this APP better. - > Low sound. I have big living room. So I think I may have to opt for a home theater. But thats ok. I rate the TV as 4.5* and reduce 0.5* for the YOUTUBE app. So my overall rating is a 4* for this buy.

I've been searching and pricing televisions for about a year. I'm not the most technically savvy individual, but I know that main important things to look for in a television. For $999, I'm not sure that there I another TV out there that has 3-d as well as 240hz. I contemplated the curved 4k, but this TV was to difficult to pass up. Absolutely fantastic picture and the 3-d is flawless. I would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade in their home.

samsung has been my go to TV. The picture quality on this particular one is amazing! So clear and sharp. Love that it's a smart tv and to my surprise it also is 3D! I had no idea. Comes with 2 pair of 3D glasses. Haven't used it yet but excited to know that the option is there. Only problem is that the TV freezes up while watching online movies from the App Store apps like Netflix or Amazon. The TV goes black and when resetting it may take a couple of tries.

I had to replace an older model, and this one really does the job. Easy to set up, does the work itself (guess that's why they call it a smart TV) easy access to the internet, notifies you of updates to the firmware, has 3D - plus it was on sale. It has a slim line design, very light compared to the older models. The sound is okay, but I purchased a sound bar anyway, so far the set works great, I would recommend this set to anyone looking for a TV.

Sound is a little Wonkey and shallow. I plan on getting it set up with a surround sound, so it shouldnt matter soon. one of the odder things that happens when streaming Netflix - the sound just goes away at times. I do not know what causes it, and it may not be relevant to the overall interaction once it gets hooked up to a sound bar. The picture is amazing, and even better with DVDs. It's incredibly thin and light, and i have No glare issues.

Prior to this I had Vizio M series with backlight dimming. The PQ was good on the Vizio but I somehow felt something missing. Then came Samsung H7150 right out of the box the PQ was awesome. Cable, PS3 and BR discs looked amazing.. 3D is active & its lot of stress on eye but it was fun to experience active 3D for a change Other good feature about this set is its SMART features tons of apps like PLEX so easy to use. All in all good set !!

Our tv broke so we had to purchase a new one. We are a family that watches lots of sports. The picture is clear and crisp and there are NO drag lines when watching football. It is a 240hz and have no complaints. It connects well to the internet and have enjoyed its smart tv features. Great tv at a great price!

First off, I would like to clear up an issue I see others have about getting motion glitches with this HDTV. If you are using a standard HDMI cable to connect the set to any of your content HD TV provides, you will get motion glitches like I did. YOU MOST use a high speed HDMI cable like AudioQuest or Monster. Once I changed the HDMI cable the freezing and glitches were gone. One major issue I hope (hint ... hint Samsung) that will be fixed are freezing APPs (Samsung this is a major complaint by customers). APPs like Youtube/HULU/Netflex sometimes freezes and it requires you to power down the set from the remote. If the remote does not work it requires unplugging the set to clear these issues if you do not want to wait 1 to 3 minutes for it to clear on its own. Also, as usual with any flat panel sets, there is no built in high fidelity speakers. If you want to listen to music or watch a move you will need a home theater system or a sound bar. What sold me on this TV was the fact that when you compare this 240 HD/3D TV with the picture quality to the 4K Ultra HD sets I could not see any significant differences with this set. So, since this set was less expensive that the 4K UHD I bought it. Now, this is viewing the sets and compare at roughly 6 to 7 feet away. I good site to see this review is www.rting.com.

Continues to blow our eyes and minds away, is simply the best and highest quality TV we've ever owned. 3D movies work great with the PS4, and with Blue Ray, makes it feel like you're actually there. Super Smart TV with lots of different cool options, makes it user friendly and easy to use, explore and navigate through. Beautiful high quality picture and images.

I purchased this television about 3 weeks ago and it has been absolutely an awesome tv. The picture is so clear and clean, plus with built in wifi it's a convenient way for me to go to Netflix and pandora and other apps. The speakers and sound are pretty good too with different options, if your watching a movie or listening to music, or just standard, this tv has it all.
