Instruction book is basically worthless, but pictorial of stand is easy to follow and relatively painless. After plugging in the power , the satellite box and the DVD hdmi cables.The tv itself goes thru a super easy step-by-step instruction when turned on. Takes a bit of getting used to as the picture is much brighter than my LG was . Has something called eco source, which it was suggested by the delivery people that I should turn off, not sure what it does as I have tried it both ways with mixed results.. Otherwise beautiful picture , make sure you have your wi-fi password available when you go thru the setup.

I got the floor sample for I think $500 altogether. Was missing the box, remote, but fortunately -there is an app for that (manual not the box) and old smartphone has now a new life. Smart functions work fine, bit slow if you are used to quick computers and latest smartphones, but does the jog. Fiddled with picture adjustment and calibration software (THX) - short of going to 4K - I do not see how the LED can do any better than this.

This is the fourth TV of various size from Samsung that I have bought in recent years as our home has grown to need more TVs in more rooms and I continue to be very satisfied with their products. My only complaint is that the default contrast setting is high, which I hate - I think this makes the picture looks like a Telenova - and it always takes me a while playing around with the setitngs to get it where I like. A nice feature on this model, however, that I don't recall on the others is the ability to set your video preferences for all sources at once so the Blu-ray on HDMI2 has the same settings for contrast, etc. as the cable box on HDMI1.

The picture on this set is very detailed and colorful, and I don't notice any motion blur in sports programs. I saw no need to change any picture settings out of the box. The Natural picture mode works best for us. Cable TV programs and Blu ray movies look great on the set. I wasn't expecting much from the speakers, but they sound quite good... way better than speakers on older HDTVs. Samsung makes a good TV and this set should hold us until they get all the interface specs and HDR flavors nailed down in the new 4K sets, and 4K programs are readily available from cable companies and streamers.

I read many reviews before I bought the 55" Samsung tv and I am very pleased with my purchase. It has a great picture. The reviews said the sound was not the best, but we bought a Samsung soundbar at the same time so we don't have any issues. We had some problems setting it up because the saleperson didn't bother to tell us we needed an HDMI cord to get the picture and it is not included with the tv. It's a little more expensive than other brands, but so far seems to be worth the extra money.

The TV works for my bedroom. I didn't care about the smart features as I use that in another room from another TV purchased at Best Buy a few months ago. Great picture color and quality and great sound (I did have to adjust the volume up a little from factory set volume). The only thing I noticed was that the feature to change to a full screen was not an available option for one of the channels I watch (has the black space above and below the picture). Not that big of a deal but I'm not sure why the feature was greyed out so that I could not select in the settings.

I bought this tv because I was looking for something bigger than my 40" that I had previously. I have now had this set for a little over a month and could not be happier with the purchase. I was originally going to get the 50" but a sale made the 55" cheaper. Picture quality is impressive, sound isn't bad for most shows. I don't really use the smart function as I have 3 other devices hooked to the tv that can stream. I did however try the smart function and everything seemed to work great. All in all, this was a great purchase as far as quality, picture, sound and price. I would recommend this model to my friends and family.

I love this tv. I had a Samsung flat screen projection for 14yrs and it was still working good, but it was time to upgrade. Also, I couldn't pass up the sale price on this tv for a 55" smart tv. I didn't need the 4k 2060p and found this picture, sound & available options just as good. Set up could not have been more simple & the tv had rca jacks in the back to plug in my older model DVD player. I Love not having to buy a new DVD player when mine works great or having to buy adaptors to make it work...the DVD player is also a Samsung product. Loving this tv!!!

It's like a TV but smarter. Similar to Algeron it's like a dumb happy Little TV, not happy Bob Ross tree, that has morphed with SkyNet to anticipate my every want and desire. My neighbor saw this TV and immediately offered his home as a launch pad for my awesomeness. This smart TV has boosted my neighbor envy factor higher than that one time I had an official dodgeball tournament with bikini jello models.

This Samsung 55" smart HDTV works as advertised. The great reviews on the website and on Amazon.com were on the mark. The picture is sharp, no action blurring, and the Smart TV portion works well. It was very intuitive to learn how to use the smart TV hub. The salesperson was knowledgeable and helpful, not pushy. The delivery people were also friendly and helpful. Overall, a successful buying experience.

I purchased this TV on Thanksgiving as part of their Black Friday sale. So far, I am very pleased with it. The picture is great, the size is perfect, and you can't beat the price! The only thing I wish was different is that it only has 2 HDMI inputs (my fault that I didn't notice before) and viewing options feel limited. Sometimes the colors look a bit off and I haven't been able to correct it. However, I love the screen mirroring, auto shut-off, and auto-backlight. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. In fact I had my mom get the smaller 40" version for my brother for Christmas.

I was given this tv as a gift and I have to day is the best gift ever. Samsung has always been my favorite brand when it comes to TVs, this 55 inch is big and picture is so clear and perfect. Loving the apps in it and the fact that I have the screen mirroring option. ;) Nice volume my room is not that big so it looks perfect and sounds perfect for my room, and no need to add a sound bar I can guarantee. I also read a previous review for this tv and I know I had the perfect Tv. If you are thinking of another brand or not sure maybe my review can help , you won't regret going for Samsung.

I Love this Tv.. I trusted the reviews on this TV and ordered online. I needed a great TV at a great price and I got that and more. Best Buy delivered for free which was great. Delivery was on time and TV was in perfect condition.. I realized how old and outdated I was after this TV was set up..This is really a Smart TV..I had to call Directv out to set up HD programming. I did not know what I was missing..The picture is amazing.. and I can mirror my Samsung note to TV and also watch Hulu ..I am so happy with my purchase..Thanks Best Buy and Samung for a great purchase.

I had originally bought a less expensive TV, but there were issues and delays with that brand/model. Because of the issues and delays, Best Buy Delivery replaced with this Brand/Model with similar features and size, which actually was more expensive at no extra cost to me. Excellent service!

I received my TV a few weeks ago and since I have not been able to keep away from it, I am enjoying it to the extremes. I did some reacher before buying and compared to others but Samsung top the list. This is my second Samsung, the HD view makes me feels that I am part of the movie/program. I am a fanatic when it comes to TV watching and very happy that I got this model and specially this size.

Purchased this TV December 2016 when my 9 year old Samsung started producing black racing stripes down the side of the screen. So far so good. I was a little leery of the newer 4K's being released and wanted a TV that had been in production for awhile. This TV has an excellent picture, does an excellent job with movies and sport programs. The smart tv aspect is a little sluggish at times but since I use it mainly for NETFLIX and Amazon PRIME, it doesn't bother me that much. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

This was a Cyber Monday purchase with fee delivery. The TV was delivered within the specified time frame. The delivery guys even carried the TV to the rec room in the basement. The set up was very easy, but due to the size of the TV it was nice to have an extra hand. We mainly use an over the air antenna and a PlayStation 4 which allows us to watch PlayStation Vue, Netflix, and DVDs. So far we have been very pleased with this TV.

This was a replacement for a SHARP model that had functional problems. We tried to work through the problems with the 1st unit. Finally call the Geek Sq, they were to get the rplmt part and send a tech out. Part no longer available! We arranged for delivery of another unit, same model, bad choice. On delivery day new unit had the same problem. Geek Sq covered replacement with a Samsung. No more problems. I highly recommend the Samsung, great TV.

We are loving the Smart tv features for watching Netflix. The pic quality is great, we had to change some of the factory settings to make it look right. So many of the tvs can be lemons but we haven't had any trouble thus far. We bought the service plan and had the squad hang it up for us. They told me that Samsung is one of the top brands that they have seen, ( they repair tvs too) and they rarely saw a Samsung in the shop.

We bought a smaller version of this same TV for a different room. We love the smart hub. We recently went to only streaming and free over the air TV. With the smart hub and wi-fi you get descriptions in a listing when you start to change channels so you can easily see if you want to watch regular TV or stream.
