If you purchase this, here is a word of advice... the default settings for the image is okay, but tweaking them you can get a much better result. If you have an Xbox, there is a menu to calibrate both the color and brightness as well as HDR. Those work great and demonstrate the gaming mode on the tv. The sound is quite good for a tv. I recommend a soundbar or home theater, but the sound built into the tv isn’t all that bad. I have an old Bose soundbar I use and didn’t even realize it wasn’t being used until I turned it off and the sound remained playing. A huge benefit of the 80 if you are a gamer is the inclusion of HDMI 2.1. It always pays to future-proof yourself. It also has a full array for lighting instead of side lighting.

I bought this 55" Samsung Smart TV and the price was beyond reasonable for a TV that has everything you would want. The picture quality is of true color and very clear. I bought the TV with the pedestal as it looks nicer than having the legs showing and it fits nice on my black glass two tier TV stand.. You can still turn the TV if you or someone else is sitting off to the side. My pictures may not show how nice the color is, but I tried. Anyone would enjoy having this beautiful television.

The picture quality is superb! Good enough to use as a PC monitor. Has one of the lowest input lags in a tv at 9ms and 120 hz refresh rate. Great for gaming! Will also be a great choce when the new Playstion 5 and Xbox Series X consoles come out. Havent used it much to watch shows on, I did test out the quality with a 4k video on Netflix and it was insanely crisp!

I'v been looking to buy a Samsung QLED TV for over a year. The Q80 Series has awesome picture quality and all the wanted capabiity for TV viewing, including all the apps for Movies & TV shows. I have the 55 inch, which offers great viewing. I didn't have the space for a larger TV, or I would have gone larger! I also liked this TV because it has the center pedestal. You may have seen the ads for this great TV. I highly recommend this TV for picture and sound quality.

This is the 3rd Samsung TV I've bought and the 2nd QLED. I chose this model specifically for QLED, HDMI 2.1 and 120Hz refresh rate to optimize the output of the Xbox series X. I would recommend springing for the higher end models in general. The Smart TV functionality is much smoother and more responsive than the Crystal UHD models and the picture quality is just beautiful. We're not getting a surround sound system for this set so having the more powerful speakers is a bonus. With a nearly non existent bezel it's basically all gorgeous screen. While you should research the right size TV for the room you're putting it in, you might want to get a size bigger than you planned. It's just one of those things. I'd have given it 5 stars but I haven't experienced 8K so I'm being conservative.

I’m on my 3rd Samsung and the Q80T is a great buy. All the bells and whistles, great processer and the picture you’ve come to expect. Highly recommended for the money.

Got this while it was on sale, well worth it. Lots of features, pretty intuitive set up, and use. The thing which drew me to this particular model, is the center based stand; as opposed to the type which has legs on either end of the television. I was able to put it on my old console, with no worries it wouldn't fit. I read some reviews which said this made it wobbly, but, I haven't had any issue with this. It sits, stable and sturdy. Picture quality is fantastic - use it for off-air television, streaming services, and playstation. Love it!

TV shows excellent pictures. Easy to operate. Works perfectly and it give you lots of options.

I love this TV! My first smart TV and it was the best purchase. The picture is amazing and great graphics with the PS5.

Other than issues with audio, this television is everything it purports. My issue with audio is the inability of the device to differentiate between sound out from TV speakers or The Surround Sound device it is attached to. I have to manually change the sound out setting to TV as it always goes to the Surround Sound device. I can not find a way to change the default audio out. Picture quality is very good but the 4k upscale doesn't seem to work with my cable box which is a 1080i device at best. However, when not using cable, EVERYTHING comes in at 4k. Save for audio, settings are pretty intuitive and, with auto systems enabled, picture changes according to changes in the environment. Overall rating = 80/100 (B)

I originally bought a 65” Sony X900H for my PS5. I too it back the day after. It wasn’t good at all. It was supposed to support 120hz and after doing an update and chatting with support it still didn’t work. I tried everything. I took it back and got this TV and got it home and still didn’t work BUT the 120hz is a Call of Duty Cold War issue. I loved this TV. I loved the picture and the gaming is amazing. The darks do not have that white tint to it when you watch a dark scene. I tested it on Rise of Skywalker and it was like sitting in the theater. I took this model back and I got the 65”. I highly recommend this Tv fir my fellow gamers and YouTubers who get next gen consoles and also those who love movie night. You will not regret this purchase.I love also how I can control my Vizio surround sound system and firestick along with Alexa with this TV. It’s very on point!

Quality TV. The picture and color are terrific. The picture is clear even with sun shining in the room. Would highly recommend this Samsung TV.

I bought this tv last week and recommend 100 %. The picture is amazing on any angle, the Intelligent mode that it has it does everything for you, the game mode is incredible good, plus the hdmi 2.1 recognized your device instantly and give you the best experience for control any video game console. I am really happy with my purchase.

Was trying to decide between the Samsung Ambient or the New LG. Happy to have chosen the Samsung. Beautiful screen, love the center stand, sound quality is exceptional for our living room (small rm), and the picture is amazing. Plus it comes with Samsung TV Plus, a huge bonus that includes free movies ABC, CBS and many more channels. Remote control is easy to use. Set up is very simple.

Great picture, great sound. I am not fond of the remote but I am getting used to it.

I love this tv. I have a very bright living room (picture window across from tv location). Glare is a huge issue. No more!! I’m watching my new tv right now with the sunshine streaming into the room! No glare!! I highly recommend!

Not bad but not as good as last year's 80R. I bought mine as a demo model and it's kinda glitchy. Picture settings seem to change by itself. Then says it needs to be reset. I almost was going to keep it but I guess not
