I purchased this to use Dex with my Galaxy Note 9. I works great and it is nice to be able to use my phone as a computer. It was easy to setup and there have been no issues with using it.

This gadget is pretty awesome! I've had it for a while and never really had an issue. I like to take it with me when I travel that way I can use it with TV at the hotel.

This item works great. Simply connect an HDMI monitor, Keyboard , mouse and you will have a full computer. Apps can be sized to fix the screen. I also hooked up a bluetooth controller for gaming. It worked perfect.

If you are a Samsung user and haven't tried Dex, it's amazing. This dock Acts as a mouse while connected but I ultimately exchanged it for the standing mount dock version for the application I was using it for

Free dex pad is super easy to use. As soon as I plugged my note 8 in, Samsung Dex booted up and provided a computer like interface. Connected a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to it and the hdmi cord going to a TV and I was all set.

I returned my unit after a day or two hoping it could replace a laptop - its just not quite there yet - if you need light productivity, this is fine for you. Dont expect it to replace a laptop/computer.

First off, you can use your monitor for sound, however you need to change it in the dex setting. For some reason it is set default to the phone. It is 10x better than a normal type-c to hdmi adapter.it keeps your phone cool and charges your phone. Also the ability to use a mouse and keyboard are a huge plus. I dont have internet so i need to use mobile hotspot to use my laptop and game consoles; this makes it to where i can use my phone instead on a bigger screen. It is definitely worth getting if you are looking for a type-c to hdmi adapter. Its not cheap, comes with a fast charger, and with the clearance sale, nows the time to buy!

Using this to make my phone as a computer. Handles it very well. Keeps my phone cool and allows for some good usage

Super easy to use after docking my phone. Its nice to use a keyboard and mouse and have a desktop view too. Really dint need a computer. I can just use my phone.

Overall excellent, you can make your phone a computer. The only disappointing thing was the charger does not support fast charge on the Dex when it is connected on its own.

Works perfectly with my S10 plus I wish it was compatible with otterbox case so I wouldn't have to take it out of the case it also charges it but slowly

Part of the problem is that the usb-c connector is too tall for the phone without a case. With different cases the height could vary and not fit right. In my case it didn't fit right and it was loose. Second the hdmi is unreliable, may be because it was open box but also I've read other perople had this problem so not sure. It disconnects every few seconds. The wirless charging is good and fast. Also the box said it is for s8 although the description for best buy says it is for s9. but it didn't really fit and didn't work well. I found a thrid part hdmi usb hub with hdmi connecitons works better and then adding a wireless charger separately does the samething in total as the dex and a bit more reliable. However wirless charge paused error still occurs once in a few hours. But simply lifting and replacing it seems to fix it.

This thing is pretty cool. it turns your phone into a desktop, but it is also good for plugging your phone into your TV.

This was a cool addition to the living room. I can hook up my phone like a desktop and surf the internet from the couch.

It works well as advertised. An excellent way to maximize your Samsung phone. Even just as a screen mirroring device, it works great.

This thing does come in handy I will say. It does exactly what its promoted to do. I do have some gripes however. Its marketed as supporting 4k. Unless I'm doing it wrong, it does not. I connect into my 4k Samsung TV and it will only output in max res of FHD. Wont even let me select QHD. Also, apps like VUDU/NETFLIX/ETC.. do not support full screen. So you're forced to view in a tiny window. Annoying to do on a 50" Samsung TV. Those things aside, I do like it and reccomend.

Great device when you have a monitor or TV and a keyboard. Used it with a Bluetooth keyboard to avoid plugging anything extra in, and was able to use most of my applications even the ones meant just for phone use. Unfortunately my Verizon text message app did not work although it did still tell me when I had a message in the notifications. The hardware itself is good except it feels a little wobbly. And you can't use it with a case unless you get a small USB C extender

Great for on the go PC, also i hook it up to HDMI port for Alpine Halo9 stereo! Works flawless

Pleasantly surprised this dock works so good. Allows different options with my Note 9.
