This phone was purchased On Jan 6th, 2016 for my daughter who needed cellphone as she was college student that time. Its good phone but battery doesn't stay for long hours maybe stays around 4 to 5 hours but it drains quickly especially in hot season so she also bought back up battery from amazon last year so she can use her phone at work. Phone used to get heated badly during summer while she is out in car. Sometimes background of her phone (home screen's wallpaper) used to freeze (basically phone used to freezes or the black screen under the apps would stuck). She recently changed her phone's background image that she used from google etc and the next day her phone changed it to the phone's wallpaper randomly which is weird. She is planning to upgrade her phone this year. Sometimes if she is taking pictures, the camera app shuts down on its own. Her phone had virus attack too last year for no reason so she had to download 2 security apps and since then no problem with any viruses on her phone. Doesn't recommend this phone though better go with Motorola's phones as my son also bought that bought in that same year but his phone is extremely good including all day battery life and no virus attacks or phone being slowing down at all. Some places her phone doesn't have cellular service at all while her sister's iphone 7 or my son's moto G4 has cellular network being at the same place. This phone people can use who only wants to use it for basic daily to daily use for calls or taking pictures or downloading one or two apps no more than that as this phone has low memory space and only supports 64gb sd card but my daughter and I would still recommend other phones over this one even for basic daily usage. Oh and btw battery is like that after one or two month of owning this device and not many apps were downloaded on that time. Not really sure how many stars should I give 2 or 3 but hope this helps you.

Overall, it is a good device. However, I have had a few problems with it early on. I would recommend a friend to purchase a newer one if necessary. It was a good price compared to others I had seen.

Excellent phone for a great price. Does everything I expect with a high end phone.

The S4 has everything you need in a phone and the fact that you can purchase it unlocked from Best Buy is great that way you can use any carrier you prefer.
