I spent a lot of time researching the S9+ to make sure it would meet my needs. I upgraded from my trusty S5 that has been running slow and full memory. I am still learning each day what this phone will do and I can tell it has been well worth the upgrade. The phone is super fast. The camera seems great with many options. Yes it is overpriced in my opinion just like any of these newly released flagship phones including Ap**e phones. This phone has been well worth the cost though and I am sure once the price drops it will be even more popular. It is a great machine, well done Samsung.

The S9+ is a great upgrade from the S7 edge I was using. The OS works much better on this phone and I do like the face recognition security. Although every time I disconnect the charger my phone unlocks. This is not a huge issue unless I put my phone in the pocket and start pocket texting, posting or calling LoL. The camera is as to be expected excellent and so far everything I could ever need. I went huge on memory so that is nice as well. It 8s fast and seems to get reception better although that could be just luck. All in all I am happy.

I'm a long time Samsung user, starting w/ the S5 and this phone is a dream for me. Fast, great graphics, and super reception. The battery is good--lasts all day with medium heavy use. To me, this phone is perfect.

I bought this as an upgrade for my s6. My favorite feature is the camera. The picture quality is excellent. The bixby is somewhat annoying but overall the is an excellent phone.

Strongly recommend, as well, Samsung is for people who are starving for technology. The eaten fruit is for those who are tech vegans.

Finally reached a frustration point with my Iphone that I made the leap and change to the Samsung 9S Plus. So far....excellent phone. So many features. Amazing camera. Takes a little getting used to coming off the Iphone, but I'm adjusting quickly to the change. So far no complaints... only smiles. Love the phone!

This is probably my 5th or 6th Galaxy phone. I've had notes and edges and this one is replacing an S7. I had gotten an 8 and returned it for a 7. Hated the 8. But I like this one a lot. Great display. I like buttons so for me to give a favorable review to a device that has none is surprising.

Very nice phone with an awesome camera and the highest memory I could get for what I need my phone for. Size is just right for me. It still does many software updates for a new phone, so hopefully all the 'bugs' will get worked out. The only thing I REALLY don't like is the Bixby app and its dedicated button below my volume buttons, which I didn't know about when I purchased this phone. I wish I could remove it altogether and if Samsung designs a program to do that, I am all ears! I always hit the stupid "Bixby" button by accident and then Bixby opens up, wanting to gather my personal info for use, and then I always have to close it, which is VERY annoying! My next phone will definitely NOT have this app on it, and for the price, it should have been an option to have, not a hard-wired app being forced at us we don't want if we like using Google instead. I would recommend this phone, if it didn't have "Bixby."

I have long sense been a fan of Samsung phones and when I upgraded to this phone I wasn't disappointed. The only thing I don't like is that Bixby is installed by default. I know many people love personal assistants but I would rather the option to add them.

This phone works perfectly and the little tutorial that started up taught me how to navigate it. Everything from my old phone got downloaded automatically so I did not have to do much to set it up. The only weird thing is that some of my contacts got lost...

The best phone i have purchased so far in terms of performance and storage. Everything looks and works great. The additional storage gives you hassle free usage and never worry about backing up.

I honestly can't imagine any other phone after a year of use. Great speed, innovative controls, memory to hold all your photos. And yes writing this review from this exact product.

If you already have an S8 or S8+ or even an S7/S7 Edge I would say just stick with that for now. The unlocked S9+ is a very good phone, 6GB RAM but it's all the other stuff. For 2 examples, there is no built in WiFi Calling and no visual voicemail app. I'm sure there are work arounds but meeehhh . . . don't want to deal with that.

The phone is ok but becuse of the 256 gig memory it is not supported by any of the major carriers. So it was and still is lacking some of the standard features like visual voice mail and the ability to keep the skreen on when making a phone call. You have to keep one finger on the skreen in order to use the key board or it will go black in 3 seconds
