Review: Shark Vacuum/Mop Combo Outshines iRobot I recently upgraded to the Shark vacuum/mop combo, and it has far exceeded my expectations, especially compared to my previous iRobot vacuum. Here’s why I highly recommend the Shark: 1. Versatility and Performance The Shark’s dual vacuum and mop functionality is a game-changer. Not only does it excel at picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair, but its mopping feature leaves my floors spotless without streaks. The iRobot vacuum, while good at vacuuming, doesn’t match the Shark’s efficiency when tackling both tasks. 2. Navigation and Precision The Shark’s advanced navigation system allows it to move seamlessly around furniture and obstacles while providing thorough coverage. It even remembers the layout of my rooms, ensuring no spots are missed. In comparison, I found the iRobot sometimes struggled with certain areas or would repeatedly clean the same spots while missing others. 3. User-Friendly Features The Shark is incredibly intuitive. Its app is easy to use, letting me schedule cleanings and customize settings with minimal effort. Plus, it offers voice command compatibility with smart home devices. While iRobot’s app is functional, the Shark’s interface feels more polished and responsive. 4. Value for Money The Shark vacuum/mop combo delivers excellent value. It’s like getting two devices in one without compromising quality. It’s competitively priced compared to iRobot, making it a more budget-friendly option for anyone who wants a comprehensive cleaning solution. 5. Durability and Maintenance The Shark is built to last and requires less frequent maintenance. The mop pads are easy to replace, and the dustbin is more spacious, reducing the need for constant emptying. I found maintaining the iRobot was more time-consuming in comparison. Overall, the Shark vacuum/mop combo is a powerhouse for anyone seeking a reliable, efficient, and versatile cleaning tool. It has made keeping my home clean effortless, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. If you’re debating between the Shark and iRobot, I wholeheartedly recommend going with the Shark!

Shark Has Jumped the Shark a little with this one! There is So Much POTENTIAL Here With This Unit. SHARK I HOPE YOU ARE LISTENING!!! I have a couple Shark Items and overall, I have been VERY pleased with them! I have also wanted a robot vac for a LONG time so when this came up for testing and review I was SUPER Happy to get the opportunity to to get my hands on it AND it seemed a kismet and logical fit for me based on my other Shark Stuff that I’ve been happy with. I was waiting for its arrival like a kid waiting on xmas morning….so excited! It came SUPER Well packaged and protected. Shark always does a great job with packaging. BUT there was only a quick start guide and no owner’s manual. Following QR codes takes you to online “support” to learn about the unit but I found this to be rather tedious and also, some of the info I was looking for I still cannot find. For a product at this price point, I feel that a physical, well laid out owner’s manual SHOULD BE INCLUDED! For instance, I still do not know how to empty the water out of the robot’s tank manually….like if I wanted to refresh the water or use a different mop water mix than what is already in it. I still am unsure if it is OK to use other floor cleaners in the unit like PineSol, Fabuloso, Mr. Clean etc. and it took me a day and half to figure out how to take out the dry debris bin AND How To Empty IT! It was magic until I found out where all the dry debris from vacuuming went. I have No Idea what any of the LED colors mean when they change on the RV and I had to watch the unit to see what the LED Colors on the Base mean. None of this info is part of the quick start guide and Shark just left me hanging to figure it out on my own. Not really happy with that “experience” at this price level! The unit and concept as a whole are SOLID! This is a great idea and the physical item is done very well and the NeverTouch is soooo GOOD! I like just being able to fill it with soapy water, empty the dirt bin and the gray water and walk away. It literally takes less than 2 minutes and I don’t have to do it all that often. The concept here is fantastic and so is the equipment. The brains…the control software and the app….well…..they are junk at this point and need WAY MORE updates and development!!!! I hope they are listening to people and the app gets a “full overhaul” and they release a firmware update right along with it to the robot vac itself. If they do that then the rest of my review is null and void, except the edge cleaning inability on carpeting. {TLDR: This RV is good for getting the “majority” of daily “dusting” done without a person having to do it. REAL mopping will still be needed and all edges of carpet and hard floors will still need to be addressed periodically in the traditional way. This is a “maintenance tool” not a replacement solution to the way things need to be done to get it done the right way. Don’t send this RV to clean up a spilled drink….because it’ll just push the drink around the floor and make a bigger mess. This is for “dust mopping” and foot print dirt control in high traffic areas. Normal cleaning will still need to be done.} Again, I really, REALLY wanted to like...no, LOVE this machine, but I have to be honest here. The base unit and the actual Robot Vacuum (RV) are NOT the issue here. The software that runs it all and the app are the issue! This unit has SO MUCH POTENTIAL but the software control, options and the app NEED A LOT OF WORK! All of my views on this are as if I tossed out the hefty premium for this item and the expectations I would have…. and the experience I did have, in reality, while testing and using the unit. There is a lot to love about the machine itself, so don’t get me wrong. The machine is smartly designed and EASY to maintain. Put water and soap mix into one side and periodically empty the dirty water from the other and then pull out the bin in the back and empty the stuff from vacuuming. Even the vacuum bin has an air freshener on it so it doesn’t end up smelling like an old vac usually ends up smelling when it runs. Then, once in a while pull out the base station filters, rinse and dry them and that's it. So as far as the maintenance is concerned, it is super simple and way less hassle than vacuuming the traditional way, then sweeping…and then finally mopping…then emptying the vac, putting the broom aways and cleaning up the mop and bucket. The machine base seems solid and well built and I have had no leaking issues at all. The machine was easy to set up out of the box with the “quick start guide” even if you are like me and this is your first RV. OK, Real Talk here. Do NOT throw away your traditional vacuum cleaner or swiffing stick! This RV does NOT do a good job on carpets, especially around the edges of wherever it is running. The brushroll is about 5.5 inches wide and it is in the direct center of the RV and (On Carpet) this leaves ALL the edges Untouched! I suspect this is the issue with all Robot Vacs so I’m not “that” upset over that issue, specifically. On carpet it does a good job only in areas away from the edge of travel. Even then I found the “dirt detect” doesn’t actually do all that much, if at all. For example, I was out cutting up trees from the hurricane and had some chainsaw wood shavings and saw dust on my pants that dropped to the floor when I was getting changed to take a shower. I thought “I have this new and fantastic, super smart RV to clean that up so I’m going to leave it there and see what happens.” Well…I ran TWO entire home cycles and one “spot clean” cycle on that spot and I still had to get out the regular vacuum to clean it the right way. Same thing for some small debris on the kitchen throw rug at the back door. Multiple times it was passed over and left stuff behind and, of course, the edge was not touched at all so that had to be cleaned up the old school way. So carpets, not really impressed with the unit or its “Smart DIRTDETECT/POWERDETECT” technology. It didn’t seem to do much in my testing, the chainsaw debris just being one example of many, used for illustrative purposes. Suffice to say that the ”EDGE CLEANING” that is boasted about only applies to the Mop Pad and I have only ever seen the mop pad do that “edge cleaning, kick out trick” that it is supposed to do occasionally and not along all edges. Even on hard floors I have edges that have been missed because this feature did not engage and/or the RV did not take a logical path (RV didn’t take the right approach to the “circle of the room”) so that the edge clean function could be called upon to try and clean the edge the way it is supposed to do. Even when the mop pad kicks out and it is trying to “edge clean” the RV is so far away from the actual edge that a swath of floor ends up not mopped all the way around. Also, I have watched this unit very closely due to having to submit a review and when mopping it misses entire sections of hard flooring that are part of the map, part of a room…etc. I have sent this RV on a “re-mapping” trip probably over a dozen times and have set up rooms in the app, have set up merges, have done every little tweak and adjustment that the app actually allows and nothing gets the RV to work the way one would expect an RV that cost this much to work. THE SOFTWARE IS THE PROBLEM HERE!!! Not anything about the machine! The machine has all of the sensors and other gadgets it needs to do a Spectacular Job IF the software handling it were on the same playing field as the hardware doing the work. The app is very generic and lacks a TON of functionality that it SHOULD HAVE, which I can’t include due to space allowed for review text. IF the control software was on par with the quality, build, materials, sensors and design of the actual RV then this would be an absolute Grand Slam, Knocked Out Of The Park. All the shortcomings of the machine can all be mainly pointed back to the control software, on board processing, lack of control via the app and the communication of all those systems with each other to produce accurate results in the real world physical space. I am REALLY let down with the functionality of the unit and the lack of control that I have over the unit via the app. I honestly expected way more out of the package. I am an electronics hobbyist and I can LITERALLY build a better robot to follow edges More Closely and NOT get lost out of an Arduino, some lines of code, some sensors and a couple motors. So if I can do it on my couch in my living room with bits and bobs of "Electrical Legos” then there is NO EXCUSE that it cannot be done to a way more precise and professional level in a consumer grade RV at this price point. REALLY disappointed and underwhelmed at the performance of the unit….not the cleaning capability but the performance needed to get it to clean. This is honestly the first Shark product that hasn’t blown me away out of the box…and even months later after using it...to still impress me with how well it is working. Overall, with all the time and effort, and remapping, fidgeting, etc. and it still doesn’t do what I expected it to do I cannot recommend this to anyone in its current TECH CONFIGURATION for this kind of premium. If this RV was attached to my bank account...real money…I can honestly say I would have returned it on the third day. I would not run out and buy another one today for another location, so I cannot sit here and tell y’all that it’s the “Bee’s Knees” and still put my head on a pillow to sleep soundly at night. I truly appreciate the opportunity to test and review it and I can only hope that my comments are taken back to the development team so they can be worked on and that Shark isn’t mad at me for telling it how it is. NOW….if you do not mind vacuuming the edges of all your carpets and swiffering up the edges of the hard surfaces and just want something to keep the majority of cleaning at bay then, yeah, this is AWESOME!

I am so impressed with the total package that is this new Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro robot vacuum. I have a small collection of shark robot vacuums now since I live in a split-level home and unfortunately these robots cannot climb stairs. So, that means one robot per level. It does give me a lot of frames of reference for comparing them which is only fair since they are all from the same brand. They share a lot of common things such as a few interchangeable parts here and there, similar behaviors, and all use the same app for functionality. All of that makes setting up and using this new model a familiar and easy process, using the app to get it connected to Wi-Fi, waiting for it to charge enough to explore and create a map, label your rooms and tell it where not to go, and finally getting started. Watching it run I can see where the improvements have been made as well as where things have been kept the same for better or worse. I never like the process of having to prep and attach the mop for my other older robot to be able to mop my floor, which has always caused me to never actually do so. That is the biggest change in the NeverTouch Pro, and something that is game changing for me. Daily vacuuming is basically the same as always, it does a good job avoiding new obstacles and keeps my floors free of dirt and dog hair from my two pups. I have it setup to run a mop cycle twice a week, and that process differentiates it from my other robots the most. This model will attach and detach the mop automatically, leaving it in the dock when not in use, and will refill its reservoir on its own as well. It does a great job with mopping compared to the other one I have, largely because it is capable of detecting soil levels and slowing down over those spots that need more scrubbing to allow itself the time to do so. It will also extend the mop pad about an inch to the left side of the body while up against the baseboards to ensure it doesn’t miss those edges. I have also noticed that when needed it will make additional passes on spots that need more attention, particularly right near my dog’s food and water bowls which have always been dirtier than the rest of the floor understandably. It has more than enough capacity in the onboard water tank to complete the 500 sq ft level it is tasked with in one go without needing to return to the dock for a refill, and never struggles with battery life in that space usually having 70% remaining when finishing up a job. After a mop job, when it returns to the dock it will empty itself out like a normal bot does, but then goes through a pad cleaning process and will spend about 6 hours drying the pad afterward. So far, I filled the clean water tank once and it is still about 75% full after two mop cycles so it really will last that advertised 30 days without my intervention on my set schedule. For vacuuming, it is smarter than my other bot with additional sensors on the front and underside which help keep it out of trouble better. However, somehow while mopping it did trick itself into thinking that the floor vent it was traversing over was a cliff it was about to fall off of and stopped running once so hopefully that was a fluke and won’t become a regular occurrence. This robot is truly a set and forget experience. I will eventually have to refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty water and vacuum bin, but those events will be sporadic. My kitchen floor is cleaner more regularly than ever, and I anticipate a similar level of reliability as I have experienced for years now with my other Shark robots. It almost feels like it shouldn’t be this easy, and somehow Shark have done something truly special this time.

Robot Vacuum with Less Hands-On Maintenance

The Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro is an advancement in Robot cleaning technology. As a note, I have a few dogs that shed for no apparent reason and are generally not worried about cleanliness. So, my floors by the end of the day have hair, dander, and dust. With the PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro it tackles these messes with no problem. This Robot does both vacuum and mop and is a godsend if you are not mopping regularly. I have had a self-emptying Shark robot before this, and it requires daily emptying of the dustbin because of the amount of dog hair it picks up. However, this model has a very large bin that is advertised as an up-to 60-day bin before needing a clean. I find with my large dog, I can wait a few days before I go clean out the bin. And when I clean out the dust bin, I am impressed by how much hair and dust it collects. Now I was always hesitating to use the mop features of previous robot vacuums because of how much effort is needed to set up and clean the robot after every mopping session. This model is cleverly designed and requires very little pre/post mopping maintenance. Essentially you fill up a clean water bin with filtered water and the Shark solution, ensure the mopping pad is on, and just hit go on the app. The Robot vacuum will automatically fill up the water bin on the robot, go vacuum then mop in one pass. Once it is done, it heads back to the dock to self-clean the mopping pad and drain the dirty water into a separate grey water bin on the base. Your task afterwards is to dump the dirty water bin and give it a rinse. Even though it says it can hold 30 days of dirty water, I tried 2 days before cleaning and noticed the water began to stink. I would do a daily dump and rinse of the grey water bin to ensure the dirty water smell doesn’t penetrate the rubber and plastic parts of the water bin. But this is much easier than constantly changing the clean and dirty water on the robot like older models. In addition, a new quality of life upgrade to the app is that it will now show you where in your map the robot is and what direction it is facing. It’s fun to be able to see where the robot is on your map. Setup of the robot is very easy also. When you fire up the app, it guides you through connecting your robot to the internet and how to set your robot to do a mapping run. After it maps out your floors, you can specify the rooms and where you want the robot to go and not go. After this setup, you just hit go and it does its job. I am very impressed at how Shark has advanced the Robot vacuum game to eliminate the constant maintenance that used to be required to keep the robot in tip top shape. With the clever self-filling, self-draining, self-cleaning of the robot, I am sure that this robot will be running every day in my house.

I have had older versions of the Roomba and I thought I didn't need an upgrade but I was pleasantly surprised after seeing the Shark Vacuum/Mop do it's thing. INSTALL & SETUP The install and setup was much easier than i have experienced before. The Shark App takes you step by step finding the device and adding it, pairing the WIFI, mapping the area and finally editing the map/rooms. The APP lets you schedule cleaning, clean individual rooms or even spots where a mess has occurred. It's a simple APP and does what is needed. UPKEEP/MAINTENANCE I have not had to empty the trash aspect of the machine but I have observed the water reservoir emptying little by little after each mopping. The water that comes out is pretty dirty, the water reservoir will probably last about a month based on the rate it's being used. Everytime the water is filled it needs the cleaning solution which helps mask undesirable odors. I wipe it down every other week just to keep it looking clean. PERFORMANCE- VACUUM A+, MOP B- The machine does a better job than my old machine cleaning out the corners and edges of the wall and picking up all the dirt and debris i can see. The floors look shiny after each use. The mopping aspect is pretty nice but in my opinion it is more for hardwood floors that don't see much liquid spillage. It is pretty much a towel style mop that seems to be meant for small spills but really just for routine light cleaning of floors for appearance's sake. FOOTPRINT The size is pretty big but it can't be any smaller because of the water reservoir and the dirty water tank coupled with the trash storage. You can't have it all and be as compact as you'd like it to be. BONUS It has a odor buster dial,I have a dog and the odor buster dial and mopping/vacuum make for an ALL-IN-ONE cleaning solution that also kills and dog odor there may be... PRO'S Vacuum performance APP- easy to use Setup Excellent Mapping-Cleans all areas of the floor ODOR DIAL- keeps the filtered air coming out smelling fresh CONS BATTERY- Doesn't seem to start cleaning unless battery is at 100%- so you have to wait MOP- it's good for lightly cleaning, lightly dirty floors- not meant for heavy cleaning CLEANING SOLUTION- need to purchase a cleaning solution to use the mop OVERALL The performance and PRO's outweigh the CONS, I genuinely enjoy using it.

I’m really impressed with how powerful and smart this Shark robot is! It vacuums and mops my floors perfectly, leaving them spotless every time. The self-emptying and self-refilling system saves so much time — I barely have to do anything besides empty the tank once in a while. The app is easy to use, and I love being able to control it from my phone even when I’m not home. It’s quiet, efficient, and handles both carpet and tile without any issues. The mapping is accurate, and it never gets stuck under furniture. Definitely worth the investment — it makes cleaning so much easier, especially with kids and pets around.

This is a good option. It does clean. Sometimes it gets stuck and can’t return to base even though its right in front which can be annoying. The clean solution tank has a tendency to crack so leave it in place as much as possible (just remove the lid and fill it) rather than lifting it in and out by handle. ALSO, the frame that holds the roller in can crack try easily so make sure you don’t let it try to go over metal closet rails as it’s a bit fragile. Also the deep clean is really important each month, make sure to check the suction tube/vent as things can get stuck and block it.

Really great for daily maintenance. Sweeping and mopping used to take hours and was so exhausting and when I finished I still had the occasional cat fur tumble weed. Now I have peace of mind that in between mopping the whole house is getting a sweep. I was worried how effective the mop would be with the pad but I can attest that when I last mopped the water was significantly cleaner. Not that I’ll replace manual sweep and mopping but I have less allergy fits and my home smells nicer. Wouldn’t call it never touch. I’ve had to clean the robot and did have the best resources to understand how to do it. Front wheel was badly wrapped In fur and none of the reading or videos told me I could pop the wheel out. I took the risk because it was stopping the rot from docking so battery drained while on the ramp or near it.

I've had Roombas, Roborocks, Dyson, Dreame & Neato Robots and this is my first Shark. All of these promise to make you forget about cleaning and have minimal maintenance (hence the "NeverTouch" branding on this one) & while it definitely means you'll be taking your normal stick / upright vacuum out to clean, these cannot fully replace it. This particular vacuum has been good so far. It has reliably vacuumed & mopped our rooms with minimal problems. The app itself is a little lacking in features & customization that you would see in Roborock or iRobot's apps, but it gets the basics right. I haven't had it long enough to get any notifications yet, but I am curious to see if the app prompts me to perform some of the more common maintenance tasks. Roborock is really great at this. Despite the "NeverTouch" branding, you do have to ensure you are cleaning the various sensors, wiping down the clean dock, etc periodically or cleaning performance will degrade over time and you run into problems. I would also recommend emptying the dirty water bin at least daily or every other day. If you leave the dirty water sitting, it will STINK. Throwing a little vinegar at the bottom will also help prevent this as well. For the sale price of $699, this robot is well worth it. I wouldn't pay the full $1000 price and having shelled out $1000+ for a robot vacuum before, I will say that none of them warrant that price. You are getting very little in return for that increased price when compared to something like this in the $500-700 range.

We bought this just to help manage our dog’s shedding (golden retriever). And it does it well enough. It’s not perfect, if you want perfection, this misses spots. But it’s a lot better than having to vacuum manually every day. The app is just okay. You can only schedule 2 activities a day, so if you are trying to break up jobs into multiple sections, it’s not really possible, you have to get it down to 2 things per day or tell it to clean manually. It does a good enough job avoiding obstacles and not getting stuck. So far it’s only been stuck once. It ran into a towel near the laundry room and couldn’t get out. When that happened, we had to put it back on the base. And it was a mopping run, so the mop was wet, but I didn’t see an option to manually start the drying process in the app. The thing is: it’s a lot of money, for not being nearly perfect. Yes, it does what I bought it for. I got it on sale, and I would buy it again for that price. But if I didn’t have a golden that sheds like a golden sheds, I don’t think I’d be nearly as happy with the purchase. Would I recommend it? Maybe. Depends on what you’re looking for.

      Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience. Managing pet hair is no small task, and we’re glad to hear the unit has helped make daily cleaning more manageable. While it may not be perfect, it’s great to know it’s meeting your core need.
We appreciate your feedback on the app limitations and mopping functionality. Being able to schedule only two activities per day and not having manual control over the drying process can definitely impact convenience. Your insights are valuable and help us identify areas for improvement. It’s also encouraging to hear that the vacuum generally avoids obstacles well and only got stuck once. We understand that investing in a product like this is a big decision, and your honest review will be helpful for others considering it.

      Kind Regards,
      Shark Clean.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Game-Changer for Clean Floors! I’ve used several robot vacuums in the past, but the Shark Robot Vacuum & Mop PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro Combo stands out as one of the best home cleaning devices I’ve ever owned. From the moment I set it up, I was impressed by how user-friendly and intelligent this robot is. Setup was a breeze, and the app interface is clean, intuitive, and loaded with customization options. The mapping feature works quickly and accurately, creating efficient cleaning paths and avoiding obstacles with ease. The PowerDetect technology is impressive—it automatically adjusts suction based on floor type, giving a deep clean on carpets and switching seamlessly to hardwood or tile without missing a beat. The mop function adds even more value. It does a great job refreshing the floors and leaves a subtle, clean finish without soaking them. NeverTouch Pro is not just a gimmicky name—it really means hands-free convenience. The self-emptying base is a major bonus, and it holds a surprising amount of debris. I love that I don’t have to touch or clean the bin after every run. It’s perfect for busy homes or pet owners like me who need consistent, reliable cleaning without extra effort. Battery life is excellent, and the robot returns to its dock, recharges, and resumes cleaning where it left off. It’s thorough, quiet, and smart—a true upgrade in home automation. Bottom line: This Shark combo vacuum and mop is worth every penny. It’s powerful, efficient, and makes daily cleaning something I don’t even have to think about anymore. Highly recommended for anyone looking to simplify their cleaning routine and enjoy a spotless home!

Very Good, Minor Annoyances But Helpful!

I had the SharkMatrix robot system with mop accessory. It was awful and scratched my base boards because it couldn’t always tell it was near an obstacle. I ended up exchanging for this Shark PowerDetect with NeverTouch Pro docking station and it was a pleasantly dramatic upgrade. One thing I wish it could do, which is use the app to “force” the vac to dump the gray water and dump the dust bin AGAIN because earlier this morning it couldn’t find the dock (unsure why) and I had to pick it up and place back on the dock by hand and it did not auto empty either gray water from mopping or the dirt chamber on the robot. Also, I have bath rugs in my bathroom. It detected them as carpet during my initial mapping run - which is great but even after picking up the bath rugs and asking for a “mop job” the robot “remembered” there was a carpeted surface BEFORE and dodged the whole area there during its mop session. So now, there’s no way for the app to force the robot to “retrain” itself in that specific area that there’s no carpet. I had to literally delete my map and have the robot RE EXPLORE my whole floor plan again (this time without the bath rugs present) so it can re learn my whole floor. Totally annoying and took over 90 minutes for the robot to explore my 900 sq ft floor plan! However I will say the robot has been very helpful. When I’m tying to do a “vacuum only” session, it will literally “drop off” the mop pad at the dock station and when I am mopping, the robot “raises itself” above the carpet so that the mop pod never touches my carpet or living room area rug. All in all, it’s smart, I’m content for the most part but minor annoyances which I hope will be rectified in a future software upgrade.

I bought this after owning a Roomba Mop and Vac for several years. This model meets most of my needs since my home is primarily hard surface. I have a couple of area rugs though, and this shark vac could definitely use a bit more power to help get the pet hair from the rugs. Additionally, the app has both good and bad traits. The schedule feature, mapping, spot clean, and no go zones are all favorable. I would like the option to adjust how much overlap the vac / mop does and how much cleaning solution is applied. It does a good job maintaining a clean floor but doesn’t have the power / functionality needed to deep clean rugs or heavily soiled areas.

I’ve had the robot vac mop dubbed Clean Elizabeth, a little under a week and have used it to clean and mop most of my house. I very satisfied so far. I didn’t pre vacuum the house and it left it clean. I haven’t mopped in 3-4 weeks and the floors were left clean. I probably need to spot scrape some caked up debris before running it again just because it does clean the floor but cannot do anything about dried up spot dirt. It does not use a lot of water and is pretty quiet, much quieter than m basic roomba. I scheduled it at 6 am Saturday morning to try out the scheduled setting and it ran without me knowing not until the dogs started barking. Will I recommend it? YES and I have recommended it to family and friends. Best Christmas gift to myself as I hate mopping with a passion.

Takes some figuring out. Frustrating at first. Nuances of programming you have to figure out that instructions don’t tell you. Spent a fair amount of time online. But, after I got it figured out, I will never not have one of these. No furniture damage. Never has gotten stuck, it can always get undone. My floors have never been cleaner. It makes vacuuming fun!

We got this for our upstairs, especially for getting under the bed. It took us three tries to get the mapping right. Finally, once the mapping was done, we designated 3 separate zones. We were surprised how much dirt was in the bin after only one pass. The water was pretty dirty too! I like that you don't have to empty anything for about a month. You may need to add more water/solution if you use a lot. If the robot starts to lose battery power, it will tell you it's going back to the docking station to recharge and will take up where it left off. You can also see on your phone all the areas it cleaned, so you know if it went where you wanted. Super easy to set up "no go" zones where you might have a bunch of wiring. We did tape down our electric blanket cord and it has had no problems. Highly recommend. Would have given it 5 starts but I'm not very patient and it takes quite a while for the robot to map out your area! Lol.

We have had several robot vacuums over the years, and this one has been the best. It is quiet, vacuums thoroughly, and although I was skeptical about how well the mop feature would work - it does an excellent job. We have 6 dogs that all shed, and run our vacuum on a daily schedule, sometimes twice a day. Our floors are cleaner than they've been in years. Worth every penny!!

Set up was fairly easy. Had to prime the water dispenser multiple times before it would work properly. That was frustrating and there was not any direction on how to complete. But the vacuum and mop now does an awesome job!
