Issue with Soundbar using the optical output

Issue is with the Tv's ability to work with sound bars that connect with the optical connection. In short, the sound works, but you can't control the volume. I have a Sonos soundbar from 2016. Sony support was of little help. So just be aware that if you are connecting a soundbar to this TV through its optical output, you will not be ale to control the volume of your soundbar with Sony's remote. Quite annoying for a TV this expensive. And quite annoying that Sony support had no solutions and was pretty unsympathetic. Would it be that hard to make or sell an alternative remote that allowed for volume control of a soundbar connected through the optical out?

Solid OLED TV

Very similar footprint with the VESA holes being in the same spots and the inputs being on the same side. Very easy swap out for my wall mount. Prior to this tv, I would use ROKU as my streaming box, but I actually am now liking the TVs android better. It also lets me control my DirecTV from the TV interface. Being an OLED, the picture quality is definitely better than my LED backlight LCD Sony. The brightness could be a bit brighter. I've tried gaming on the screen at 120 fps and it works very well. However it took awhile to figure out the settings to get it to run at 120Hz. I originally was going to buy the Samsung OLED, but surprisingly it didn't support DTS output. So, I had to go with the Sony Overall I'm happy with my purchase. I would give it 4.5 stars, but it only lets me choose between 4 or 5

First OLED

Audio playthru doesn't work with my Samsung soundbar and it fails to turn off the soundbar via the arc connection. Loud disconcerting click when the TV turns on or off. Overall happy with movie and game performance. Annoyed that one of the two available 120Hz HDMI connections is also the ARC port, but I knew that at the time of purchase.

AWESOME picture, glitch OS

I doubted that it would look the same as in the store but it never disappoints. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the android OS it runs on. At first it was a positive because it was an easy addition to my other Google home devices. But the glitches were mild annoyances to say the least. (HDMI inputs not registering devices, Wi-Fi refusing to connect) luckily I'm pretty tech saavy so I did some troubleshooting myself and resolved the issue but I shouldn't have to only 2 weeks after purchasing. Again if it wasn't for the AMAZING picture I would give it a 3 due to the OS but I'll stay with my 4 but suggest Geek Squad protection if your not too comfortable with tech.

Great TV with many features

We are also able to use our PlayStation 2 with it. The settings on the TV a customizable and I can set it so it acts like an old tube TV. We couldn't be happier.

While the A75L is an excellent value OLED model, for maximum brightness, we recommend checking the picture settings to ensure the Peak Luminance feature is set to High and using the Custom or Vivid modes which often unlock more brightness.

Setup for color profiles takes a bit of time as all the settings are leaning towards showing off how black things can be which is too dark and too contrasty for normal viewing. Once adjusted the tv is fantastic with clean, crisp images and easy to navigate menus.

Good unit but with a concern

The black is blacker than any other TV I’ve had previously. The only complaint we have is that occasionally the smart TV functions have frozen. We have had to unplug and reboot the TV twice in the first month of use.
