Can't even begin to say how excited I was for this purchase, only to be SEVERELY disappointed later. Mind you, I am a graphic artist so I use heavy programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop simultaneously. However, my previous laptop had only 5gb memory and 750gb hard drive and it was much faster than this. With or without my programs open it has been freezing, delay in clicking (15 seconds after you click it will accept the click), super slow. Only thing that's fast is my internet but that's my service, not an applaud to the actual computer. TOO MANY updates--are you kidding me, spent 5 hours updating, still have updates to do. Interface is confusing, getting a migraine just trying to do simple things. I would not consider this item a friendly computer for business users. Only if you have hours to play around recreationally, would I ever recommend it. Artists- stay away, not fast enough, trust me.

I spent five hours setting up and downloading updates. Vaio kept dropping wireless internet connection although the six year old Toshibia I was replacing remained connected all the time. Sony support was very good and recovered the drivers. Downloaded one app Netflix and Internet dropped again, about seven times during the process. Boxed the Vaio up and took it back to Best Buy, which returned to manufacture with no hassle. I decided I did not have time for this and would stick with the old reliable.

Bought as a home computer for work. It operates so sluggishly that I do not have the patience to work on it. My $300 Kindle Fire blows this thing out of the water ! In addition, the Best Buy staff was lacking in customer services skills and rather rude to work with. Will continue shopping with Amazon just for the customer service that they provide.
