The game is a great representation of what the Vita is capable of. Gameplay is similar to Monster Hunter, but the mechanics are not as obscure. The monster designs are unique and a blast to see in action. Storyline is great but it's told mainly through text and speech, so beware if you're a fan of rendered video. Battles can become somewhat repetitive since you're limited to levels that are basically contained arenas. Each level has a goal such as destroy 5 of enemy type xyz while others are boss battles. It's probably best played in small doses since the gameplay mechanics are a blast. Customization comes via what spells you take into battle and how you power them up. You can also power up your character and have a companion AI controlled sorceror with you. Would love to see a sequel to this!

fun game with lots of customization of characters, but can get a bit repetitive. good for fans of this genre. online works well, but fun even for single players.

Enjoying the game so far but the limited use of your skills and the repetition of environments/enemies irks me a tad. The fundamentals are solid enough though that I can't picture a sequel not improving upon it greatly, so I hope this one does well enough for that to become a reality.

Soul Sacrifice pits you in a role where you are fighting monster after monster in a relentlessly challenging game that demands excellent reflexes. The game brings out the best in the Vita graphically, and is quite fun on the go. Recommended.

Overall this game is a fun monster hunter-like game that adds a few interesting mechanics. Highly recommended to those who like the genre or those interested in trying it and especially if playing multiplayer.

Great Game with a great story line and challenging, can replay and change choices to change story line. downfall if game becomes repetitive and becomes very difficult. YOUR CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES!

Overall it was a pretty good game. The sacrifice concept was pretty decent, but as a monster hunter enthusiast, it all seemed a little too familiar. The story line is 100 percent completely immersive! I found myself wanting to beat the next boss, not for the sense of accomplishment, but to continue on with the story. Very impressive story, and delivered in an interesting way.

The graphics for this game are awesome. The single player campaign is quite fun but the online play is where the fun is really at.

I bought this game because the deal was good. For Vita, it's worth the money. I gave it 4 stars because it takes a while to get "into" it, but thats the point of video games, right? Build into the story? Worth it if you can swing it.

One of the funest rpgs i've played on vita. Very monster hunter like as others have stated but is unique its its own ways. Replay value is a definate on this game as the options you make through out the game change what happens. Great for anyone who needs something else to eat away at their time on their vita. Highly recommended

Soul Sacrifice is an enjoyable addition to the Vita library, even if it's usually outdone by the game it borrows from most, the Monster Hunter series. I know I'll be putting many hours into this one.

This is kind of a monster hunter game. You fight powerful enemies and what makes this game different is that at the end you harvest sacrifice or spare the life of the souls you fight. Graphics are fantastic, story and game is awesome!!! Do not pass this one.

This is one of many monster hunter-likes that exist on the ps vita. I enjoyed it, it has tons of replay value and is surprisingly smooth in it's control scheme. There is grinding so be prepared if you don't frequent this style of game.

This game is best played with friends, however online it is getting harder to find people to play with. I bought this game at launch and did not like it. Purchased again a BB when the price was dirt cheap and playing it again. When I first bought the game I expected it to play differently but after playing it again and knowing what the game play is like I enjoyed it much more. Give this one time if you are expecting it to be a Monster Hunter type game.

Unfortnately, there arent many games on the Vita that are coming out. But this is one of the better ones.
