I have thoroughly enjoy using the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro earbud. Presentation was A1 and the case has a soft touch coating that is sorta iridescent shifting from black to a navy-ish, purple hue, setup through the Soundcore app was simple and painless, the sound quality is great and the difference between ANC and transparency settings/modes are noticeable. Able to customize sound profile based a hearing test through the app (ensure you're in a pretty quiet environment for best results). The comfort is there for prolonged use and pretty secure for light work out sessions. Can work independently of each other but you'll lose out on the features obviously and the touch controls become finicky when separated. Overall, I really like these and will enjoy keeping them in my "venture out in public kit".

Soundcore does a good job at making a good quality earbud that has a nice modern and stylish look with high quality sound. This to me is a great alternative to the Apple Airpod lineup. Overall the packaging on this set of earbuds is well done. The visuals and information on the box is thorough and illustrated well. With these earbuds you get a charging case with a pretty cool sliding lid closure, a USB C charging cable, various eartips, and the pair of Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro. You will want to download and install the Soundcore app in your app store to maximize various settings like active noise cancelling, HearID customization, and various other earbud settings like touch control. I really like the way these earbuds sit and fit in my ear. I wish there was a tip that may have had an ear hook style as an option to feel a tad more secure in my ear shape. The technology built into the actual earbuds is pretty impressive. There are 6 noise cancelling microphones to help ensure your voice gets heard properly when you're speaking. When you have the ANC turned on these microphones are also helping to ensure that background noises remain targeted so that you can focus on the sound within your earbud. The PureNote Driver Technology is a great way to optimize your music and sound quality when listening. Soundcore offers up a 45% boost to your bass, and 30% wider frequency bandwidth than standard earbuds. This has been a big plus for me since the music I have been listening to has sounded really nice, with clear crisp notes and tones. I haven't noticed a big bass boost, but more of an overall good level of listening enjoyment. The earbuds also have touch functions such as volume control, and ANC toggle which the app will help you to tailor to your desired setting. The case has been very nice and sleek as well. Secures away my earbuds properly when not in use. Also, I like that I can use 1 earbud at a time and still keep the other in the case if I want to only listen in 1 ear. With a charged case and charged earbuds you should get 7 hours of listening time, along with 26 total hours of listening when you charge the earbuds in the case. That should be almost 3 full charges out of it. 15 minutes of a charge on the case should give you 3 hours of listening with USB C fast charge ability. And another big feature I like is that this case has Qi charging for wireless charging. The ANC aspect of these earbuds leaves a little bit to be desired. I can still hear slight background noises, but I have to realize that these are earbuds and not over the ear headphones. These have available along with Transparency mode. PRO: Good price ANC earbud ability Clear sound reproduction CON: Eartips with hook would be nice

Here I will leave a short version if yo do not want to read the longer review -You can use either L or R to connect to your device unlike other wireless earphones -The touch controls are customizable through the app -Uses type C port to charge or Wireless charging -Fast charging through the case -The battery on the earphones last around 7 hours and 26 hours in total -You can customize the EQ to your liking through the app - Noise canceling can be activated through the app or the earphones - There is 3 options for noise canceling (normal, ambient, and noise canceling) - the only downside could be that there is no option to find your earphones in case you lose them I have personally know the brand Anker for their high quality chargers and cables, but recently they have been tapping into other markets and the headphone/earphone market is one of them. The case in general is easy to carry, you can slide the cover to get access to the earphones. You get 3 sizes of ear-tips to choose from. The microphone quality is really good, and the call quality sounds great. Out the box the earphones are tuned to sound bassy, but the EQ can also be customized to your liking through the app. These earphones also have touch controls, you can hold, double tap or single tap and they can also be customized through the app. Lastly the noise canceling might not be the best, but considering the price i would say its pretty good. Honestly i would definitely choose these earphones over other ones in the same price range. They look stylish and can be tuned and customized to your personal preference. If you are thinking on getting some new earphones, I would highly recommend the these.

These are very nice earbuds and they sound great. I don't care what people say about the ANC maybe they want zero noise cancelling but to me when I put them on it automatically silenced the noise outside. It pretty much give me everything I want from the perfect ANC to the perfect sound quality at a perfect price. Take it or leave it Soundcore is doing thier best when it comes to earbuds and headphones. One of the best you can have. Now I own both liberty 2 bro and liberty air 2 pro. I Love them

The sound is decent. Controls are easy to use. The app is good for what it's meant for you can tune it to your hearing ability, makes you listen to beeps in different frequencies. Battery life is amazing . Overall it's worth it. If you expect world class noise canceling then the answer is no. It's good though , it does minimize most exterior sounds. The mode that let'syou hear your surroundings is weak though. 26 hours of use. I was using them for like 6 hours still didn't die. That's impressive for me. Other brands by the 4th or 5th you get the notification of low battery. The case is cool. You slide it open and close. The earbuds are magnetic they don't fall out. It's usb C.

These earbuds were purchased at the recommendation of my husband who loves his headphones. I was looking at buying Beats or other brands I was more familiar with. However, I am very pleased with my purchase of these earbuds. The sound is fantastic, they hold a charge for multiple days and I just love the color. These come with several different sizes so you can choose what fits most comfortably in your ear canal and I’ve had no issues with them staying in. The case is small and the top slides open smoothly. When putting the earbuds back in the case, there is a nice click letting you know the are secure on the magnet getting charged. For the price, I can’t imagine getting better value for the money.

    Excellent Quality, Surprisingly Helpful App

The headphones were much better than expected. I was jealous of my wife’s AirPods Pro, but I am on Android. From what I can tell, they sound a little better…a little clearer for my taste in music, mostly electronic, but that’s just my opinion. Her AirPods have settings for noise reduction, but I like that these have more options and flexibility about the kind and degree of noise cancellation based on the ambient sounds. The app lets you choose between whether you’re traveling and dealing with that noise, indoors, or outdoors in terms of ambient noise. That makes a real difference, and presumably when I’ll have to commute to work again it will be even better when I’m on public transportation. And working from home, the conversation option for noise cancellation blocks out a lot of the noise in my house (there’s a lot) so I can still concentrate on what someone is saying to me over the phone. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked. I think the sound quality itself is similar to the AirPods, but the level of customization options makes the real difference for me. I also really love the wireless and USB-C charging option. The app was really a surprise. I usually despise having extra apps, but it really blew me away how it helped me tune the noise reduction.

I am writing this review based on my experience using these in-ear headphones by Soundcore(Anker). If you want some great sounding Active Noise Canceling headphones at a great price then these are the ones for you. At a little over $100 these will do the job and the fact that they have pretty good sound quality, it is even more recommendable. The unboxing experience is great compared to other headphones that are more expensive. I do appreciate those small details. Second, pairing the headphones is a breeze with your phone, but what makes these stand out the most is the setup process with their app. One thing I appreciated is that you can set up your own custom hearing profile. The way it works is that you do a short audio test whether or not you can hear certain frequencies and so when you then use the profile you have set, the audio is adjusted to match it. The noise cancelling works very well and these are lightweight so not noticeable while in use. I do like the tap feature on each ear bud which makes it easy to pause/play. Battery life has been great and love the fact that the case supports wireless charging so that is a win. I do recommend these headphones if you are concerned about price as these check all the right boxes. One little thing that could have been improved is the soundstage when listening to music, but then again when using Spotify or Apple Music you are using compressed audio. Either way I am happy with these in-ear anc headphones by Soundcore. I’ve been a fan of theirs and enjoy their products. Definitely a recommend buy.

Great ANC option for in ear wireless earbuds

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

If you are looking for a great set of earbuds that happens to have ANC, look no further than these guys.... the liberty air 2 pros. Packaging: These earbuds come in a really impressive box. The surface of the box is embossed, and exudes quality. Something fitting for the latest flagship earbuds from Soundcore. Opening the box was quite easy, a magnetic clasp on the side holds the side flap snug to the box. It opens up to reveal some cool graphics showing the targeted noise cancelling, the main draw of these earbuds for me. The case and the earbuds are presented sharply on the top of the box behind a clear cover. The case and earbuds, are in a tray, from which the case was easily removed. The earbuds required a little finesse to take them out of the tray and not to damage them. Beneath the tray sits another tray, housing alot of cushions... 8 pairs to be exact. The importance of these will become apparent shortly. Lastly, there is a USB C charging cable, and the standard literature. Verdict on packing: A I like the tactile feel of the box, the items are well presented and with the massive number of ear cushions, I feel fitment will be very easy. Fitment: With all of the options for cushions, I was quite surprised that the earbuds fit almost perfectly out of the box. No need to try out the other options. However, to take full advantage of the ANC, one should first go through the fit test on the Soundcore app. This will ensure proper sizing of the cushions to maximize the enjoyment of the ANC. Verdict on fitment: A+ Very surprised on the fit right out of the box, I feel this isn’t normal for most other earbuds, but has been consistent for me with Soundcore. I haven’t yet run the fit test to confirm the cushions. Case: Quick little blurb about the case.... It slides back, this will take a bit of getting used to. The case has a USB C port on the back, along with the reset button. On the front is a bank of 3 LED lights which show status of the case battery when the lid is open. Shows the status of the earbuds when closed (and not at full charge). Case charges quite quick on standard USB port in about 2.5 hrs when needed. Verdict on case: A Took me a while to get used to the slide back lid. Case is small, and a smooth finish. Doesn’t tend to show fingerprints too badly. The sapphire blue is lit. Earbuds: The earbuds are the stem style, and have touch controls. Albeit the touch functions are limited. press button on the top of each to serve as control of the various functions. Within the app, you can customize the touch functions, but again the choices are limited. These fit in the ear quite well, and don’t require a lot of fussing about to get them locked in place. Verdict on earbuds: B+ Comfortable fit and can wear these all day without issue. Sound quality: I’ve been listening to a lot varying styles of music with these. From hard rock to classical music. With the pure note drivers, the sound is crisp and clean. The classical music is superb (Strings in Lark Ascending) and for rock the bass is stout and clean (Radioactive). I do notice, that compared to my liberty 2 pros, the volume needs to be higher than on those. However, I’m sure that it is because I don’t quite have a proper fit w/ the cushions. Further reinforcement of running the fit test to maximize enjoyment. Verdict on sound: B+ Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) The ANC can be controlled through press and hold on either earbud. Doing so will toggle to ambient mode. Great to avoid having to fumble with your device to toggle in-app. For changing to one of the three noice cancelling modes (transport / indoor / ambient) the app is req’d. You can also toggle to transparent mode through the app. Testing out the indoor setting and music quality is still quite good, and I cannot hear office noise very much. Verdict on ANC: B To be fair, I have not tested much of the ANC features, or the custom ANC setting through the app. What I did test out, was quite good, just would like to have a bit more function tied to the earbuds vs. App. Final overall verdict of the liberty 2 pros: B The main features that stand out for me are the sound quality and the fitment. I’m sure as time passes I’ll get more opportunity to explore the app and ANC in more detail. I would recommend these if you are looking for a great quality earbud with huge fitment options and ANC. Some of the features through the app, to my knowledge, aren’t available in the competitors. Thanks for your time. TS1

I have been searching and searching for the perfect pair of wireless ear buds and finally, after a year of searching, I have found my pair: these! They sound fantastic, the app is super in depth and easy to navigate, and the connection has been very steady so far. I have paired them to my personal phone (S20 FE) and my work phone (S9). No problems for either. As for the comfort, I can wear these things for hours. They are very generous with their ear tip offerings. I went with the Large, but don't take my word for it. Test them all out and see what's right for you. The ANC does a decent job of blocking out the noise (or at least muffling it). They have a couple different settings for the ANC, depending on where you are. And if you don't want ANC, switch to Transparency mode or just go with Normal. All three options are available to you from the app. The one thing that is missing, which I imagine they can add with future firmware updates, is more options for the touch controls. Namely, the single press, which is not available at the time of my review. It does help with accidental presses, though, so maybe that was by design. Regardless, I'm just nit picking. These really are great, and fairly priced.

As of jun 9, 2023 my ear buds have died but due to personal negligence. During the times I have these ear buds, for around $50, they were not too bad but I seem to have disconnecting issues. Pros: Came with multiple fittings, packing feels premium Sounds great, noise cancelations works/ambient mode Battery life Cons: Starts to cut out during phone calls, voices become distorted. Often disconnects after couple mins with connected to laptop/desktop

As always, Soundcore makes a great product at a reasonable price point. For the average user, the sound is amazing, the battery life is expensive. It is unfortunate that it connects to only one machine at a time. But at this price point it's appropriate.

Really awesome headphones for the price. I got during deal of day, but even at regular price it's still a good deal. I have AirPod Pros as well. These are in par with sound quality when set up correctly. Noise cancelling is good as well. You can make customizations in equalizer and noise canceling settings. Has a TON of ear pieces so you find the one that fits you well. I used it at gym. Ran 6 miles on treadmill with no issues. Also did weights and stretching, and headphones stayed in place. Impressed. Battery lasted long as well. My airpods usually die at the end of my work out and these kept going. Definitely worth it. I would recommend these as alternatives to Airpods. Also can sync with applewatch with no issues. I have not tested the microphone yet, but I will try on conference call tomorrow. Overall, VERY HAPPY with the purchase.

After using these several hours per day for around a week and a half, I can say the performance & feature set are impressive with good sound quality and surprisingly effective ANC. I haven't tried other true wireless earbuds with ANC before, but even if these don't turn out to be the best on the market, they are still a great value. Tested with a recording of simulated airplane noise at high volume through surround speakers, I found the ANC (transport mode) on par with my older pair of over-the-ear wired ANC headphones from a prominent brand, but these Soundcores have better sound quality. Sound and ANC performance varied depend on the fit of the eartips. These include 9 different sizes, but the stems on the buds are very short, and only the 2 widest sizes had deeper fit options. The default medium tips fit fine, and I even managed a 25-minute treadmill jog without them starting to slip out, but one of the included deeper pairs worked better for me. They did start to get uncomfortable after wearing 4-6 hours per day several days in a row. Some third-party tips may fit these, but I found an extra large pair of foam tips wouldn't fit in the charging case. The transparency/ambient sound modes were less impressive & made the enhanced background noises sound artificial/digitized. The vocal mode does make voices clearer, but also slightly amplifies some background noise. I still found it very helpful to use to be able to hear my own voice while on calls; without it, it's a little disorienting how earbuds' sound isolation muffles my voice. A couple of people commented my voice sounded hollow while on calls (without me asking), but nearly everyone I talked to thought my voice sounded clear. Background noise cancellation also seems very good - I took a call while washing dishes and the other party couldn't hear the water running. The case is fairly compact and feels premium with a soft-touch coating, but made a noticeable bulge in my pocket, and was slightly too large to fit in the 5th pocket of my jeans. The sliding panel is convenient to use one-handed, but the door feels slightly flimsy while open, and has slid open while going in and out of tighter pockets when I had it turned in that direction - don't handle it carelessly. It has USB-C and Qi wireless charging that both worked well, and I was able to get through at least a couple workdays of regular use, mostly with ANC off, without having to recharge the case. The default Soundcore Signature EQ setting is good, but I liked a few of the genre-specific settings better for my music, and the HearID setting was even better. The Soundcore app is needed to make use of the customizable EQ, ANC, and touch controls (which were reasonably reliable & rarely failed to register my input; by default, there are no on-board volume controls on the earbuds so you'll have to add them using the app). The app did prompt me to create a free Soundcore account on installation, and I did, but this may not have been necessary since the app still seems to allow changing device settings while I'm logged out of the account. There's no multi-device pairing; I have to disconnect these from my phone before I could connect them to a laptop, and while not paired to the phone (where the app is installed), I can't change device settings using the app. However, after using the app to customize how the touch controls work, those settings were remembered even when not paired to the phone.

An almost perfect product, I would have given 4.5 stars if I could. These are mostly everything you'd hope they can be; great sound quality, long battery life, comfortable, easy to use, etc etc. They sound good out of the box, with a little tweaking of the EQ you can get some truly impressive bass response while still having good clarity on the highs and mids. The active noise canceling works, cutting about 80ish percent of the ambient noise and chatter of people around me in our cubicles at work. I haven't tried changing the ear tips yet, its possible I could get some with an even tighter seal, but the seal test told me the out-of-the-box seal was good so I've just been going with that for now. The installed tips are light and shallow, they don't go deep into my ear and feel very light wearing them (but no issues with movement or coming loose from just typing at my desk). The loosest, lightest fit that still seals will do it for me most likely, others might want a tighter fit for like jogging or more active wear. Tons of tips included so should be no problem getting a good fit for everyone. Very nice packaging, and an excellent case that was better than expected. I'm amazed that the case supports wireless charging (in addition to its USB-C port). Pairing and reconnecting is very easy. I already had the soundcore app installed from my Anker conference speaker. If you don't like the sound of installing an app, its not required to use these, but it is worth installing because you can do the ear seal test and adjust the EQ, noise cancellation mode, what functions the tap controls do, etc. The only thing I am docking these earbuds on is the inability to pair to multiple devices, and use with a computer. If you are only using these with your phone, you are good to go. My issue is I want to use them with both my phone AND my work computer. This is where Anker does not yet have my back, but maybe will address in a future version of the product. You can't be connected to two devices at once. There is some mis-or-outdated information about this online. An old version of the firmware might have allowed some hacky "pair this earbud and then that" workarounds, but those do not seem to work today with the latest firmware installed. Best I could do was pair one earbud to my phone, and then the other earbud to my computer. Then if you turn the buds off and back on, whichever one connects first owns them both. So I can disconnect them from my phone and connect the PC, or vice versa, but there is a bit of a dance with connecting and disconnecting. I can't turn bluetooth off on my phone because that would disconnect my smart watch, so my options are a bit limited. At least I can connect and disconnect and not have to put the headphones back into pairing mode, to switch between the phone and the computer. Its still a bummer not to be able to use both at the same time, and a bit annoying because the computer can't show you which noise cancellation mode you are in or any of the other nice stuff that is in the app. Its unclear if my settings are retained fully when I switch between PC and phone. Getting it to even do that much was a pain, had to pull out and pair one earbud with the computer, and then walk far, far away with my phone and the other earbud (still in its case), then when far enough away from the computer pulled the other earbud out and paired with my phone. At first you will have this scenario where the computer is playing in one earbud and the phone in the other, but if you shut the earbuds down (put in their case) and take them back out they just pair to whichever device connects faster and the other device is out of luck (can't connect, won't switch until you disconnect on the device that is using them). Connected to computer is not as good/simple/easy as the phone. It takes some tinkering and knowledge of windows audio devices to get the "headset" audio device dialed in right for Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and then some further tinkering for the "headphones" audio device for music listening. A lot of regular computer users I could see struggling with getting these setup with a windows computer and their conferencing apps, but if you fight through it once you should be good after that. The lack of multiple device support and clunkiness with PC annoyances were almost enough for me to dock a star, and if it wasn't for those they would for sure be a solid 5, maybe 6 stars. As it is, I feel I still need to give them their 5 stars due because I got these on sale for under a hundred bucks and for that price these are truly incredible in every other respect. Bass response was one of my biggest factors and these are competitive with my beats X, which are pretty darn decent. Working noise cancellation was the second biggest factor, I was really only replacing the beats because of wanting active noise cancellation. Comfort third most important, I wear these for the majority of my workday. The cherry on top is the excellent, high quality case and the well thought out, functional companion app on the phone. For the price I snagged them at, they are truly a steal.

I love these they are some of the best I have ever used the sound is good and ANC works great. It has a nice app ands comes with more ear tips than I have seen with other brands. The app helps you get the right fit too as it test the feed back of the earbuds. I use these all the time now and m,y other earbuds just sit and collect dust

Bought these to try to replace my AirPods Pro’s that fell in the water. They’re good for the price, especially if you catch a sale. But they’re not a competitor for high end earbuds. Pros: -good price -long battery life -Qi wireless charging case Cons -noise cancellation is just ok. It works, but isn’t as good as the first gen AirPod pros -can’t get a good fit. They come with a bunch of ear tips, but I’ve tried all of them and they always seem to lose the seal after a while. Haven’t noticed this with other earbuds, but only really matters if you care about the noise cancelation
