When i placed the order they didn't tell me i needed to book a separate service for the removal of the old fridge. Ended up not using this service.

They did not take away the old unit and was the worst people to deal with

I encountered a lot of confusion when the movers showed up. They thought they were only allowed to take a refrigerator. They kept calling Best Buy (I believe) to find out what they were allowed to take and were told not to take all the stuff that I had. I kept protesting that I had paid $200 to have all my stuff removed (refrigerator and large console tube TV were my 2 large items, as well as 9 smaller tube TVs and assorted other electronic items and cables, which were in the unlimited category). Finally, the mover got the right person on the phone and got the okay to take it all. Thank goodness. So the movers were fine, but kept getting inaccurate information from Best Buy (I believe) about the nature of the service I paid for. I suggest if you order this service that you print out the lists of what you are entitled to have taken away. That's what I did.

I wish i saw the reviews BEFORE I purchased. Same here. the description says haul a way up to two big itens but the subcontractor says they could only take one item . It was an expensive haul a way for just a stackable washer / dryer

We had a large broken TV that couldn’t be brought in for recycling so this was the only option. I was hesitant because of the old reviews but I think it depends on who Best Buy contracts this service out to. The guys that showed up were very quick in removing 2 TVs, microwave, and miscellaneous electronics. All in all, took 10-15 minutes. They even brought a box for the smaller items.

Very disappointed!! It was my understanding that up to 2 large items plus unlimited smaller items could be taken on this trip. However, the drivers informed us that they were only allowed to take the two larger items and not the printer, 2 VCRs or the 4 boxes of cable, electronics, etc that we also had, I would NOT have paid $199.99 to have only TWO items hauled away. We now have to make a trip to the store to drop off the 3 small items AND have to figure out what to do with the items we cannot take to the store. The two men who were here though were VERY nice and it was not their fault that the wrong information is on the website or in the article in the newspaper.

Ordered the haul away service that promises two large items and unlimited small items with a specific approved list. Called ahead to check that my items would be accepted. Haul away would only take the two large items. Still trying to work on getting the rest of the items picked up. I was told I can drop them off. But I paid for them to be picked up and that the electronics would be cleared of any data by the geek squad.

The 3rd party company for the haul away and recycle from best buy was horrible. They refused to take any smaller items that best buy listed and only took the one big item. They were also 1hr late from the time they called from the truck. For 200$ for 1 big item was definitely not worth it. I should have looked at the reviews first

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! So disappointed! On 9/9/23 I ordered haul away and recycle service for 9/16/23. I call the morning of 9/16 since I had received no contact and am told my service was not scheduled, although we paid for it and selected 9/16 as the service date and received a confirmation email from Best Buy! The representative was not helpful, I could not get directly to the service to find out what happened to my order, just a terrible experience. Don't take payment in full if you aren't going to deliver. The whole thing totally sucked. I gave up and cancelled after all this inconvenience. Do better, Best Buy.

Never showed at scheduled time, Rescheduled. Contractor states he wasted a half hour trying to get up my street, only expecting one item. I had 4. Complains for 10 minutes about how he is going to get compensated time. None of this is my problem. Very unprofessional.
