I've waited a long time to finally complete my collection on blu-ray. But now that they're finally here, I'm thrilled to be able to get them. This one isn't the best of the bunch, but it has several great moments---Darth Maul using his double-bladed lightsaber, Anakin winning the Podrace, Padme announcing that she is really Queen Amidala and asking Boss Nass to help her take their planet back from the Trade Federation's occupation. So glad to finally have all of the Star Wars films on blu-ray!

The SW franchise is a cornerstone of American film making. FOX did a pretty superb job with the first 6 Star Wars movies in Steelbook. Each Steelbook is a glossy finish with debossed titles, 1-Disc, has commentaries as the only special feature, inside artwork, and the back cover shows the theatrical poster of the respective Star Wars movie. I already owned the "Complete Saga" box set, but these were too beautiful to pass up. I had to own them all. They also look real nice next to the new Episode VII: The Force Awakens! Get these while you can! :D

I remember going to the movie theater to watch it when I was in first grade. The special effects for it still hold up but with advances in tvs and media devices you start to notice the imperfections in the special effects. So if youre picky just stick to the vhs version. Otherwise this is a fantastic movie that cements itself into our modern myth

As much as people despise Jar Jar & young Anakin, this movie had so much more to offer & still remains as a top favorite movie.
