FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND GIVE IT TIME

Be understanding that everyone has different computer capabilities such as (fast, slow, old, new) hardware and software. It took my 2010 amd quad-core pc some time to process the drivers. I immediately opened the box with excitement without reading the instructions. It may require you to update the firmware...so....READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! After doing so, the controller was recognized by the computer. My computer is old and slow so it takes time for it to be recognized every time I turn on the controller, but I do not regret this purchase. I just need to update my computer! Handling the controller was initially awkward, but it grows on you, conforms well and becomes comfortable within several minutes. Some may not appreciate how the R/L toggle buttons because they are a bit flush with the R/L triggers buttons. Although the transition feel is a bit seamless, it is not difficult to become very familiar with the feeling. It's not not frustrating to use and will easily get used to operating.

This is an excellent game controller. It feels more premium than my XBOX One and PS4 controllers. It is as responsive as you would expect a great controller to be. I have experienced no lag or delay so far. The only downside is that it is not rechargeable. And it is a little expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case.

The controller itself is excellent. Responsive, solid build, feels high quality. It doesn't work in Windows without SteelSeries installed, and it seems to get confused if 2 devices are in the area that have connected to it. Works ok with my Android, when it's not conflicting with my PC. Good controller, but would only recommend to people comfortable troublshooting connections.

Android Flash Windows controller I've had for a few days now actually had to return the first one because it was glitching on the L1 and L2 buttons but the second one seems to work great on Modern Combat 5 haven't tried it yet on GTA or any other games but have found out there is a very small amount of software available to utilize this Bluetooth controller and the ones that do 90% of them are super basic one or two buttons only so that being said if you're looking for a familiar style controller to play Android games on do some research to make sure the games that you want to play are going to work with this and if they will then you're in luck because you can now go out to Your favorite Best Buy in Orvine Ca. and pick a steel case xl controller to utilize this awsome, hi-quality, well built, device to dominate your favorite Android games.

This is a great controller I use for my Lg V20, connects very fast no extra steps needed. The only cons are it's expensive for a controller that requires double A batteries, but it last long, just wish it would charge with usb.

I bought this controller to go with my Samsung VR set and it works flawlessly out of the box. On PC, it had a weird issue with the trigger pulling that was fixed with a firmwire update that I didn't notice on Android. This controller does not have one of those phone clamps that other controllers had, but it isn't a huge deal for me. It feels heavy, the buttons are responsive and it plays anything I throw at it just fine. It handles something like a weird offspring between a Playstation 4 and XBox 360 controller. Battery life for me averages about 36 hours with Duracell batteries.

Feels like it's built sturdy; buttons respond smoothly. Using it to connect to Samsung gear VR. It works most of the time. When it doesn't I think its the games not the controller.

Bought this controller to use with my Galaxy S7 and Samsung Gear. Had a few trip ups with it connecting, but when it gets paired it is comfortable and works very well. I feel the price point is a little high, but it is a bluetooth controller. With that said, it makes sense they would mark up a unique item. Overall (if you are using it with a phone), unless you are planning on getting a LOT of use out of it, I feel like it is too expensive. There aren't many games out that make me feel like it was a good investment, and I've hadit for months. The controller itself is good, but let how much you are going to use it be the deciding factor.

    Works well with Gear VR

I was looking for a hand controller for my Gear VR and found a video on Youtube about the Stratus XL and it was highly recommended. So I went to Best Buy to find a controller and the Stratus XL was in fact the only controller they had that would work with the Gear VR. It does indeed work but it is not terribly user-friendly. There are a few steps you need to take to get it connected to your devices before you can use it. You pretty much have to figure out for yourself which button does what. But once you do it works well.

For anyone looking for a PS style controller that is compatible with most Windows games using a controller, this is it. Cons: While the controller itself works great, ALL you get is the controller and 2 AA rechargable batteries. Recommended additional products: A standard micro USB cable (needed for controller firmware updates) A seperate bluetooth receiver (you MUST have this), one is not included. A wall charger and extra AA rechargable batteries. There is no way to charge the controller through USB or other means.

I love this controller and I use it daily with my Samsung Note 5 and Samsung VR Gear. Literally paired with my android phone in less than a mionute. Feel great in my hand and easy to use. The one downside is that Ive only had it less then a month and 1 of the rubber grigs on one of the toggles has started to peel off. Maybe I am just rough when I use it but besides that I love it. Bombsquad is my favorite game to us it with so far. E

I use this controller with my Galaxy Note 5. This controller works well for most games on Android. It's great for Minecraft, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, and Knights of the Old Republic. The only games I have trouble with are the GTA games. It causes weird glitches on GTA: San Andreas. Overall it's great but be aware that it may not work for every game that accepts controller input.

This is a great bluetooth game controller. It feels like a cross between a PS4 and XBOX one controller. Very good control and button intensity. The only con this controller really has is no rechargeable battery pack or plug in. This can be easily resolved with using 2 rechargeable AA batteries as long as you have a second pair always on the charger.

I purchased this controller to be used with the new Gear VR and my Note 7 for a full VR experience. It has worked beautifully with all of the games I have purchased so far. The only thing it is not great at is mapping buttons and being used for steam games. Great controller though, good weight, great triggers, closest thing to an xbox controller.

Look at several reviews online and youtube, and then while visiting BBuy, was told to try this controller. MOST buttona will control functions on the VR. Every app on the VR will differentiate the button control. For the most part makes it easier than using the controls on the VR. Fix the buttons issue and you got a 5 star rating.

I must say the controller feels good works perfect GEAR VR/ANDROID GAMES! However for anybody thinking they could use this as a controller for Windows 10 PC gaming (As stated on the box) IT DOES NOT WORK! It will pair and you can even get it to move the mouse around, however that's all you will be able to do! No game will recognize it and it will simply not work.I even tried to plug it in via usb (located behind the battery) and nothing. Contacted support sent emails back and forth for two days....They gave no real solution and I just ended using it only for Android gaming! So with that said perfect for Android/Gear VR and not compatible for PC gaming! I just ended up buying another DS4 for my PC and changed the face buttons on it using an old Xbox 360 controller parts!
