I recommend fans for Laptops that are used daily and for constant sitting periods to keep from getting too hot and extend life of Laptop. This one plugs into laptop and laptop is power source for fan. Got a lower cost fan and seems to work for now. Not bulky. Can use as lap pad for laptop and not use fan but sit laptop over vents. For size 15 to 17 inch laptop I would say.

Good cooling but could be more quiet and it would be nice if it was thinner

It gets the Job done but it’s not a really huge difference for me but I do use this when I game on my laptop.

this fan was the cheapest option available and I kinda wish I would've sprung for the more expensive one. It does it's job ok and hasn't given any issues, it just doesn't blow very strongly... It will do the job... But honestly just get the good one, you'll be glad you did later.

Fans are small. Need to position the laptop on it hanging off the bottom ever so slightly BUT it does wonders. Keeps my gaming laptop about 8* cooler than running without it.

It was a really good mat for the price. Unfortunately the power cable wasnt very sturdy. It pulled off easily after a couple months.

For being a cooling pad, it sure doesn't seem to cool my laptop down. It's more of a way to keep the fans on the bottom of my laptop from scorching my legs

It is noisy but it does cool my laptop so it has that going for it.

This a ok cooling mat if you want to if you are not gaming. It only has two fans and needs more to cool a regularly gmaing laptop.

Pros: Its compact and easy to use. For the price cant complain much as other cooling pads are in price ranges of $40 or more. Cons: Am using this to cool down my Dell Inspiron. My laptop heats up and even with the fan running at all times, gets very hot. Hope Targus comes up with a better product to cater to this price range.

It works. By that I mean the fans spin. And by spin I mean like the Tasmanian Devil after to much caffeine. Also vibrates like that bed from that hotel room I accidentally rented without checking the online ratings.

This was the quickest solution when I wanted / needed a cooling tray for a laptop that was getting hot due to extended use. Not the best that I’ve owned, but it was in stock and not too expensive . Wouldn’t buy if there were more options in stock... still works though over a year later.

I like the fact that it is cushioned on the bottom for putting it on your legs. The laptop doesn't get that hot, but I have used it. My only dislike about it is the length of the cord and the difficulty of closing the cover of where it stores when in use.When I pick up the computer, my left hand feels like it might almost break the unit itself. But, for the time being, it's ok.

I like the fact that I can sit in my chair with a blanket and I can vent out the computer with this comfortable fan. It conveniently plugs into my computer USB port so no batteries needed. But I didn't think to see that the fans line up with the computer vents. Thus my computer still seems to get overly warm IMHO.

Its an ok product for the price, the only issue is that the fans aren’t very powerful and i feel like it doesnt doo much. I bought it for my wife who has a macbook pro and it doesnt really cool it down as much.

I bought this because my laptop was heating up. It is really good at cooling but does make a lot of noise, its not unbearable but still can be annoying at times. There are no light indicators to tell if it is really working or not. It does however is big enough for a 15.6 inch laptop and the velvety plastic base is a nice touch.

Liked comfort of it but pretty much useless for our needs. Cost way more than others that were better and more powerful. Not a gamer but use laptop for few hours at a time. Lap top gets extremely hot and thus this was useless. Had to return

Purchased an HP Envy laptop with SS 512 hard drive—needed a good cooling pad to avoid overheating issues.. picked up one of the better ones..the pad’s fan is ultra quiet and the cooling fan is the right weight and size for my 15 inch laptop,,

I liked this a lot, as it is both comfortable when you place it on your lap, and it also helps cool the laptop. However, it's not very powerful, so I don't think that it cools it down too much. I did not have a problem with it though. It is also very quiet, you don't hear it at all, and the USB connection is easy to use.

not the best cooling pad, but better than the cheapest option. had to wrap the ends in electrical tape after a few months because it easily frays. I play one game on my ASUS laptop, and normally it runs hot. This pad does the job I need. Wish it was less expensive.
