Slapstick similar to the "Pink Panther" series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Saw this when it came out in the theatres back in the early 70's. Was skeptical about it being a French film with English subtitles. Found myself going to see it at the theatre THREE times! If you like a simple, fun movie with unique and creative funny bone, this is that special film. It might remind you of the best antics of Peter Sellers as the "Inspector". While an old movie, it still proves to be an enjoyable view for the whole family. Bought it on VHS years ago. Glad it is coming to DVD!
