This movie of course is action packed with lots of fighting in karate and judo moves and watching this in 3D Blu-ray makes it even more adventurous with objects looking like they are flying right at you. If you like karate movies then this is the one for you. Make yourself some popcorn and get ready for an action packed movie.

Liked that there were plenty of fight scenes, nicely done to boot. Was surprised to see the RZA get more screenplay AND a fight scene. If your expecting any kind of plot, forget it. In India you might believe that an elephant is sacred, and that a person would go through so much to recover one that had been stolen from you. But here in the USA it's just an animal and not many people would risk life and limb. You'll ask yourself "why?", more than once.

Tony Jaa has made some awesome movies in the past and although I don't feel that The Protector 2 was as good as the first one as far as brutal action goes, I feel that the 3D effects made up for the lack of action in my opinion. I was also impressed with the RZA and his performance, I feel he is finally getting the hang of this acting thing. Over all I feel it's a good movie to sit down with some friends and enjoy. Cheers!

Unlike regular Chinese Kung Fu movies, this one has it's own Thai style martial arts. The film was artsy and beautifully done. The movie lacks emotions and doesn't pull you into the story due to a weak plot. However, the action alone is worth watching and of course, you can't beat 3D. It gives you the feeling that you are there actually witnessing the action.

This is a typical Tony Jaa movie except in 3D which was pretty good. Sometimes it got a little blurry when going from seeing the action to reading the subtitles but that could be just me and my eyes. The other times it added depth which I like and why I buy 3D movies. Entertaining movie.

OK I was totally looking forward to this, I love Tony Jaa and I enjoyed the first Protector. But this is definitely a case to more money being used and bringing you an inferior product. I guess with Tony's new popularity the films he is in are getting bigger budgets, but that is not always a good thing. The movie is filled with cheap made for tv level of cgi effects and green screen shots which kind of ruined it for me. Alot of the scenes where Tony Jaa is doing his own stunts it is clearly a green screen set with things he is running and jumping on or off of so to hide what I would assume is safety equipment I don't know it jsut ruined the feel of the movie for me.

Like "The Protector," this movie comes down to a search for an elephant, which has its own culture clash in terms of empathy. But that's not why you watch a tony Jaa film anyway! You're there for the action, and Jaa delivers in 3D no less. Said 3D is rarely gimmicky and looks as good as a Hollywood joint. Rza is the villain; he's gotta have a stomach ache from all that scenery he chewed up. His henchwoman is woefully underused. Overall, a fun ride at a reasonable price compared to other 3D blu-rays.

Saw a lot of negative reviews on this movie, but I found it much better than expected. Non-stop action and very entertaining action sequences!! This is what it was meant to be which was a very exciting martial arts film!!

Tony Jaa is back after 2 failed films that is Ong Bak 2 and 3. The Protector 2 for me was good at points but wont blow you away like his older films. the film still is a fun watch and a step up from his last. The protector 2 has good action just not the hard hitting stuff we are use to. Overall the film is good and if a Tony Jaa fan it should be in your collection....Tony Jaa and Jija Yanin are bad a**, just wish there were more scenes with both of them fighting.

There's more action but does not live up to tony jaa's original protocol to not use CGI, wires or stunt doubles. This movie looks so fake compared to his other movies. Not happy Tony Jaa.

Tony Jaa is awesome. You already know this, or you probably wouldn't be looking at this movie in the first place. I feel the first movie was better overall, but my main complaint is the 3D. This is one of those films that has a few piddly 3D moments and that's it. The fight scenes are still great, but if you were looking for a full encompassing 3D experience you're going to be a bit let down.

Lots of corny acting and some unbelievable action, but if you can shut your brain of for a little while, this is plenty of fun. 3D was average.

I was a little disappointed in this movie, it's still very much worth the watch, but I feel as though they tried too hard to focus on special effects. The one that comes to mind is the motorcycle scene and it felt like that went on for too long. Tony Jaa still brings the action, and you will like the display of his skills. FLYING KNEES!
