Unfortunately Broke within a couple of days

No sound came from the drive that was out of the ordinary. work perfectly and continue to work. Couple days went by I save music and videos to my drive when all of a sudden the external hard drive started making a loud Clicking sound. The sound would not stop until I position the drive in a certain angle. I knew this was not normal so I decided to get back at that point I took home a Seagate 2 tb external hard drive and I'm very pleased with my mind change. I have used a Toshiba drive free about 4 years now with not problems except filling it up. I was displeased that this Toshiba drive had failed.... It might have just been a bad drive but I didn't want to take the chance of getting another one the outer case felt cheap and plasticky the Seagate I traded out with felt durable and and hire-quality. I enjoy my Seagate 2 TB hard drive and do not plan to give this product a second chance

Toshiba has extensive quality controls built into our manufacturing processes but occasionally something goes wrong that couldn't be foreseen in testing. I understand that you've already returned the drive and aren't interested in a replacement, but just want to point out that our customers do have the option of initiating Toshiba's warranty replacement process at acclaim.toshiba.com anytime during the warranty term.

Great harddrive for the price.
