Being an engineer, I was very skeptical of using the geek squad, but even as an engineer, there are some things I really don't want to do. For example, replace an already hung TV and get all of the surround sound cables connected as well as run new HDMI and optical cables to the new TV. I was pleasantly surprised, my Geek Squad team was very professional. In this time of COVID, they made it a point to where their face masks and keep their six-foot distance, which made my family feel very comfortable. Their professionalism didn't end there, they explain the process, got my feedback on where to mount the TVs and literally worked so quietly with a drill and all that they didn't even wake my wife who was sleeping in. I expected the work of mounting two TVs and setting up the new system would take all day and it only took 3 - 4 hours, which I think was amazing considering all they had to do. Needless to say, I have a different view of using the Geek Squad for installations, they did an amazing job and we are still happy. Wait, did I mention not having to clean up after them, they not only cleaned up thoroughly after themselves, they took the empty boxes with them. Great touch!!

It was a smooth and quick installation. The men that came were very helpful and made sure I understood how to operate my TV before they left. They also left their card in case I needed further assistance with the TV.

The technicians mounted my tv prefect an they were very polite ,thank you Best Buy for having great men like them working for your company . Now my daughter wants her tv mounted also . Thank you again I’m enjoying they great work

The “Squad” mounted tv and connected to my devices. They also gave me advice re parts necessary for another tv setup. They were knowledgeable and efficient and left no mess.

GEEK SQUAD, so intelligent knowledgeable about every single thing although a bit annoying just a tad bit, the other thing I love a newby just learning the ropes besides his senior comrade, thing is i don’t like seeing them be chastised in an embarrassing way in my view, its always a beautiful way to tell a new learner the correct way or how things are done. Also, the senior. Should learn to step back while working and learn from newby.

The Geek Squad partners who mounted and set up my new 60 inch TV worked with both industry and smarts. They mounted the TV on a brick veneer wall above a fireplace mantle. I had a hanging bracket in place for the set I replaced, but because the new TV was bigger, they had to take the bracket down and re-position it. No problem for this crew! They had the right tools and the right experience to do the job efficiently and thoroughly. Furthermore, they were incredibly friendly and pleasant to deal with. They had to make a follow-up visit a week later because of an issue not related to their initial installation, and even though they weren't immediately able to resolve the issue, they researched patiently for over an hour and consulted by phone with one of the product vendor's trouble-shooters to find out what I needed to do. I got the answers I needed, they didn't charge for the follow-up visit, and I got to visit with them a second time. They will always be welcome in my home, either as Geek Squad techs or as plain old social company. I'm satisfied that the $199 set-up fee was money wisely-spent.

After a bad experience receiving a TV from a rival company that was damaged and had to be returned (still going through the return process almost two months later!), I decided to have the Geek Squad deliver and install my 75-inch TV. I was pretty sure it would get done quickly and properly, and if there was a problem, it could be addressed right away. There was no problem with the TV that showed up, and YES and YES to quickly and properly. Three guys showed up in two different vehicles - right on time. They called the night before and also as they were on their way. These guys really knew what they were doing! They positioned the TV on my wall exactly as I wanted it, took time to explain the features of the TV and the remote, set it up with my wifi and the whole 9 yards. In addition, they all wore masks and booties inside my home, they were respectful, patient, friendly and competent. I wouldn't hesitate to use the Geek Squad again, especially if it's a complicated install - like hanging a 75-inch TV on the wall and making sure it works as advertised with your wifi, cable service or whatever you have. We have utilized Best Buy to hang four tvs ranging in size from 55 to 75 inches. All services have been performed by courteous Geek Squad techs and in a timely manner. Do yourself a favor and purchase the Geek Squad yearly membership. What's included will save you hundreds off various installation projects. We will continue to use Geek Squad for all our technical installation needs.

The two Geek Squad team members that installed my tv were excellent. The had their masks, booties and name badges on. They also helped get rid of extra wires I didn’t need. It was a great experience. I didn’t have to ask them to do this or that. They saw it and they did it. I would recommend the service.

Technician came on Christmas eve, very upbeat and knowledgeable. Thankful that someone actually liked their job and made sure it was nothing short of perfect and that we were satisfied. Will definitely use this service again.

Removed old Samsung and bracket Added new Bracket and TV Plugged all HDMI into new Tv Installation went fast and without any problems. I'm a big DIY person but when it comes to hanging a heavy TV on the wall with the mount I much prefer to leave that to the experts (especially because most of the time it's a two person job). I give 5 stars for the actual installers and the process, they did a phenomenal job and were very professional. I give 2 stars to the actual appointment making and scheduling aspect. BestBuy, this needs work. Please go back to the old system because it's infuriating for all of us involved with the new one. Had multiple system glitches that cancelled previous appointments, had to call and reschedule because the system didn't take it and was showing appointments on days there were none and letting me schedule it with confirmation number and everything and then the day of the app would say "don't forget you still need to schedule your appointment for install" Please talk with your installers and find a scheduling system that works, these installers are amazing!

The guys who came and mounted the TV were great! They did a great job and were very professional. This is why I have Total Tech Support - this kind of amazing service by the Geek Squad!

Install tech Rich asked for my position desire, gave rough idea of placement then installed as per my desire. Limited drilling into wall then secured all after mounting. Set up TV quickly and gave easy to understand instructions along with answering all questions.
