The Geek Squad team performance was outstanding. Despite the difficulties of removing an existing 80” tv located above a fireplace, and mounting a new 85” Samsung, required relocating the existing mounting bracket’s to compensate for the different size of the new set. The team of William and his partner flawlessly executed this installation without any problem. In addition, the second phase of their visit entailed relocating the 80” set to an upstairs bedroom, removing the existing 75” set and properly mounting the 80” set. This task required the agents to carry the 80” set up two flights of stairs in a curved staircase and into a bedroom. This also was a difficult task, and although the 80” set was heavy and clumsy due to its size, Bill and his assistant carried the set upstairs without any disruption to adjoins walls or staircase. The second install required taking down the 75” set and resetting the brackets to properly hold the 80”set. They are to be commended for not only their technical expertise,but for taking on the entire project with a smile, a positive attitude, and a determination to assure that, once the total installation was complete, that it met all of my expectations! Their willingness to provide exceptional service was evident in their performance!

Don't be fooled.
I purchased a new 98" TV with a new soundbar. They didn't have a mount available for the TV so I ordered one from Amazon. I had to wait a month for the TV to be delivered and mounted, but I was fine with that. I was given my delivery time window the day before and I confirmed it. About an hour later I received several notifications that I needed to reschedule my appointment. My wife and I spent 3+ hours with customer service, on the phone and on the chat. Nobody had any answers as to why it all of the sudden needed rescheduled. One would say they didn't have a crew available for mounting. The next said they didn't have my TV yet. Another said they didn't have my soundbar mount. Delivery day rolls around and a Geek Squad agent calls to see if I'm expecting them. I had already taken the whole day off work since the initial delivery window is 7a-7p, so yes I was available and expecting my TV to be delivered and mounted like it was scheduled a month ago. When they arrived they were immediately saying they didn't know if they'd be able to mount it today because they were worried the soundbar mount wasn't correct. I told them that the agent in the store checked and said it would be fine, but if they weren't sure then to at least mount the TV and I could do the soundbar myself. I stepped out to make another call and when I came back they were loading up their truck to leave. He said they weren't able to mount it until I bought a different soundbar mount that he took the liberty of putting in my cart for me on the app. He said once I paid for it and received it then to call and reschedule the mounting. It was way more expensive than the one I had originally purchased. And on top of that, the soonest available mounting appointment was again, another month. I ended up mounting the 98" TV and soundbar by myself. When I tried to call customer service to discuss my issues with my service I got nowhere. So don't believe the Free Mounting ($300 value) and $80 soundbar mounting like I did. I didn't receive a refund for any of these services. If dropping off a TV and plugging it in is a $300 value then I chose the wrong career path. Never did I imagine spending this much money on a new TV and sound equipment, and receiving such terrible customer service in return. I couldn't recommend them less.

We’ve used Best Buy’s mounting services for our TVs for years. They’re fantastic, always polite, and accommodating to our dogs. We upgrade fairly often and having to dismount then remount TV’s would be a pain so we really appreciate their efficiency and value.
