I absolutely loved the phone. It's a great price and has qualities that you wouldn't think you are getting unless you bought a high price "luxury" smart phone. An extremely reasonable cost with outstanding quality that I never expected! Two thumbs up in my opinion.

My camera does not work all the time. OS error says can not find camera. If I go to apps and clear catch and restart phone then it some times will work. If I send it back then I'll have no phone until its fixed and sent back. $160 is too much to pay for this trouble.

I was given the opportunity to use this phone. It is an amazing phone! Simply knowing that you have over twenty hours of battery really relieves you. You don't have to carry a charger. When I would leave the house before with any phone, I always had to carry the USB cord. Now I could sit back in the car and relax while an iPhone user next to me would have to charge their phone at the end of the day. I would charge it around 7:33am and would charge it again the next morning. I am a heavy user. I love to go on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Gmail, and listen to music on Spottify while using the other apps. The battery is simply but amazing. The camera is good. I compared it to an HTC and an iPhone and I did like this camera better. The processor {the brain and motor strip of a phone} is quick and snappy. I came from using an Android 2.1.2 to an iPhone 4 to this amazing phone. This is sporting {at the time of this review} the latest version of android wich is KitKat. There are other features like tapping the screen when it is sleeping to unlock it. You don't need to click the sleep/wake button anymore, but it is there if you want it. The physical body of the phone is durable. The back has a textured back so that when you are holding it you won't drop it. What amazes me about this phone is the price! Remember you can try it and return it if you don't agree with me. I would say go out and give it a go. All in all this is a good phone whether it's for the busy business man or the hyper teenager, it's a great 4g LTE phone.

I'm no power user -- I don't stream video, and the only game I ever play is Angry Birds Starwars II. The apps I commonly use are Google Maps, Chrome, Messages, eMail, Camera, Weather Underground, and various financial apps such as PayPal, Chase, US Bank. Oh, and I also use it as a phone. It comes with 4GB of Internal Storage, and I still have 2.57GB available. I installed an 8GB SD Card for photos and those few apps that can be moved to the SD Card. The phone runs smoothly, apps load quickly: Google Maps 3-4 seconds, PayPal 2 seconds, Angry Birds SWII 17 seconds. The voice quality is good, and the sound that comes out of those tiny little speakers is amazing! Even respectable lows, which really amazes me. For the sake of this review I loaded the YouTube app [2 seconds] and played several 480p videos. They stared in about a second, and played smoothly throughout. I live in an area that has spotty cell service and I often have no "bars", so the videos were, very likely, playing through my WiFi, so I don't know how well it plays videos from the phone network. The phone is fairly thin and feels good in my hand. My first Android phone [an early Samsung] was so slick and slippery I had to struggle to not drop it [and did, in fact, drop it a few times -- the cracked screen is evidence of that]. This phone has a back with a fine texture that makes it easy to hold onto and the texture is pleasant. The screen is bright and the colors vivid in most lighting conditions. With the screen brightness turned up to 100%, the screen is readable in direct sunlight, but there is a loss of contrast [not like a Kindle, in other words]. It has a very nice 8MP camera that takes great pictures. In fact, I'm amazed at how good the photos are. The resolutions are 8M: 3264x2448 (4:3), W6M: 3264x1836(16:9), 5M: 2560x1920 (4:3), 1M: 1280x960 (4:3). It has a fun feature called the "Cheese Shutter" where it takes a photo whenever someone says "Cheese" [also "smile", "whisky", "kimchi" or "LG"]. No more running to get into the picture before the timer times out! Another nice feature is the ability to tap the screen and have the camera focus on that spot -- great for setting up "depth of field" shots or making sure the foreground object is in focus. And, because there is a setting to assign the Volume buttons as the camera Shutter Button it makes the camera less cumbersome to operate, both in general, and when using the screen tapping feature. The camera can take photos, both from the back and from the front, making selfies a lot easier (the "selfie" camera is only 1 Megapixel). It also can shoot FHD video [1920x1080 - 30fps], HD [1280x720], QVGA (MMS) [320x240] which is great for text messages, and QCIF [176x144] a lower, even, res for MMS. It seems to go for about 2 days on a full charge, if not used all that much. I charge it every night and haven't had it die on me yet -- and I'm prone to play Angry Birds for 30 minutes strait at times ;). My first Virgin Mobile phone was a $50 Kyocera -- this phone is a HUGE step up for only about triple the money. Bottom line, it's a great little general use smart phone for not that much money -- and the lack of a contract, for me, at least, is a HUGE plus!

Bought the LG VOLT at best buy a couple months ago. It has great battery life. Fast downloads. Lots of features. The camera is awesome, crystal clear pictures. Was really impressed with the overall of the phone with all its features. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

I've been slowly upgrading my Virgin Mobile phone by buying the best thing on sale for $99 whenever there's a sale. This is the third one, upgrading from the LG Optimus F3, and it's the first one I've been pretty much completely satisfied with. All the little annoyances of stuff that didn't work quite properly, or required rebooting the phone every few days, seem to have been ironed out in this one. Everything works fine, it's pretty responsive, it gets better reception for voice and data than my old phone, all in all, I'd recommend it for anyone on a budget that still wanted a fully capable smartphone. For $99, anyways. If it goes back to the regular retail price of $149 or $179 or whatever, I would probably just wait for it or something equivalent processor-wise to go on sale.

The first thing I will say about this phone is that the battery life is amazing. Not only does the battery last long, practically lasting 48 hours with consistent usage, but it recharges in almost no time whatsoever. The screen is crystal clear and the settings are easy to navigate. The GPS always knows where I am and the camera takes beautiful clear pictures. The responsiveness of apps, as well as the phone itself, is FAST! The choice between using the LG keyboard or the Swype keyboard and the face recognition to unlock the phone are simple yet exciting bonuses. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this product. Needless to say, at phone this good at this price is a steal!

Great phone from Virgin, especially for $35 a month. Impulse buy for me, I had a Virgin Mobile ZTE Awe & wanted a larger screen & 4G. I wanted a Galaxy S5 but Virgins price was nuts. This got me however, after reading reviews. I have yet to see it in 4G action, but thats due to where I live & Sprint (Virgins carrier) being slow to update. HOWEVER, the phone is amazing. Battery life-it is as advertised. With light use it really will go two days or more without a charge. I'm a heavy app user & charge it nightly, its usually above 60% after a days use. Its fast, after 6 weeks there have been no problems/issues. Camera is decent, set up a little odd but you can get used to it & its acceptable. My only issue are the color choices (white only for Virgin) and the speakers. The speakers dont sound bad, just not very loud. I have a Bose mini speaker I hook up to (bluetooth) most of the time to overcome this, but its still not great by itself. That wouldnt make me pass on the phone, just something to consider. Overall, great phone & zero regrets!

Upgraded from the Galaxy Victory, and I do think it was an upgrade, especially for the price I paid. Phone has every feature I could imagine wanting, and everything works pretty smoothly and as expected. I didn't think the bloatware was too bad - nothing too intrusive or annoying with the LG-provided apps and software. Resolution could be better and processor could be faster, but that's why the phone is the price that it is. Battery life is pretty good. At first I was going an easy 4 days on a charge with moderate use (unheard of!) but after a few weeks of charges now I'm down to about 2 and a half, so still quite solid. I think I'd take the resolution-for-battery-life tradeoff any day in my personal opinion, anyway.

This is a great phone for the price! The battery is awesome. The phone feels a little light in your hand but this is not a bad thing. The screen is bright and clear. It may not be "retina" display but I think it is easier to look at than my Galaxy S3. The price was the real selling point. Combine the low price with a prepaid plan from Virgin and it is silly to pay top dollar for a feature phone on contract. My coworkers can't believe how little we pay each month for phones. And if I drop it I will not cry too long. I will just go buy another Volt and be done. (Cheaper than a screen replacement).

I bought this phone to replace my wife's older LG phone. What a difference a couple of years make. The speed and response of this one is fanrastic. Besides being a great phone she can retrieve her email and get on Facebook and communicate with others so much faster and easier then the previous phone. One negative thing it was according to previous reviews have 8 meg of storage and this one didn't it came with 4 megs that being said it still works fine. Its a good phone for the price well worth you looking into.

This is a great phone for the price, especially if you get it on sale as I did. You get most of the features of phones 3 times the price...and 4G LTE if you're in the right market. The battery life is great. 3000mAh! That's better than any iPhone. Not a lot of case options just yet, but there will be. If you have Virgin Mobile, get this phone. You won't be disappointed.

This is a replacement to my Samsung Intercept. I don't use the phone enough to go on a phone plan. But $35.00 a month for a smart phone is awesome. Unlimited data (2.5 gb) and text, 300 minutes talk is plenty and perfect for me. I have never used anything up at the end of the month. Many features are offered with this phone too. Camera is good. Not the greatest, but much better than what I had in the past. You won't be disappointed.

My last cell phone, also an LG brand, was "glitching" off & on. I would get frustrated & ended up using it only for making calls. This new phone is GREAT. I can use both Facebook & my gmail account without overloading memory. I can take "selfies" (I'm a big picture-taking fan & have recently become a first-time grandmother). Plus there is the option of taking videos, too...very valuable with new baby. I'm still learning about doing videos but with practice, I'll get the hang of It. I really like this new cell phone & learning new things about its features. I'm VERY glad to have it!!!

Moved up from an older LG phone and joined 4G Data. The Phone does everything I need it too. Still learning some of the preloaded software and functions. Battery life is far better than my past smart phone experience. Even late in the evening I still have better than 50 percent battery left. Typically 75 percent or better. May be better cameras out there, but I am pretty happy with the one included. Its a great bargain for a no contract phone. Its fast and well designed.

I have been a Virgin Mobile user for a long time. I had a pay as you go flip phone. This was my first smart phone. WOW was i impressed. first off the price was awesome. I have heard about how good the iphones and samsung's are so i was a little scared to purchase so inexpensive a phone. I was shocked. The phone performs as well as any smart phone but at a lot less cost. I would highly recommend the LG volt to anyone. It was a good price and the quality is there.
