Great everything! Great picture, great apps, great size for my living room. I already have a Vizio in the Master Bedroom, so made sense to look only for Vizio sense I knew their quality and reputation.

I would buy Vizio products again and again and the best place to get them is Best Buy every time I go there I have fabulous service and I buy great products again and again. This time a Vizio 50" LED

After we got moved into our new place, we mounted our new t.v and are very happy with it Thank you.

I did my research and this is the TV I decided on. However, BB didn't have a new one in stock but they had an open box one for an incredible price. Beautiful picture! Sound is not that great, but from my research the only TVs that have good sound are ultra expensive. Very easy to set up. It picked up my WiFi immediately and I was watching TV in no time. Adjustments are a little confusing at first. I recommend using the color settings that I found in the following CNET review, http://www.cnet.com/products/vizio-e550i-b2/. It takes some time to make a custom color setting but well worth it as the TVs modes aren't that great. You can't go wrong with this inexpensive TV.

Shopped all around the internet to find the "best" 50in Smart TV and after reading lots of reviews, I settled on the Vizio. The best thing also was that it was available at Best Buy for the BEST PRICE! It was delivered quickly and was extremely easy to set up and use...right out of the box. While the sound is not overwhelming, it is more than adequate for most movies and sporting events and the on screen menu makes it easy to get sound settings or picture settings right where you'd like them. The picture is dazzling and eye popping giving a true "at the ballpark" feel to sports. Movies are theatre like and feel immersive. My only regret was that I didn't get a LARGER screen....well maybe next time! Overall the VALUE is extraordinary.

I bought this TV over a Samsung due to it being that much cheaper, but for a while after i bought it i wished i had gone with the "higher class." I was able to watch TV and movies through my HDMI connected laptop just fine, but access the internet was a pain. Knowing a decent amount of networking through work i determined the TV was accessing my in home WIFI network successfully through pinging all devices from my laptop over-the-air and locally yet the Netflix app could not reach it's database. After reading through countless forums i found one specifying you need to set the security standard of your router to WPAPSK-TKIP and no other method would work. Hope this helps for anyone in the future buying this TV or currently has it. Besides this aspect the TV is flawless and would 100% purchase again and recommend it to others.

I bought this YV after spending a few days reading tons of tech reviews and it was clear that this is by far the most value for money HDTV available right now. All tech reviews were correct when they emphasized the excellent picture quality. In particular, the blacks are darker because of the active dimming feature. It's not a gimmick at all - it does make a big difference when it's turned on. It also surprises me how useful the smart TV features have turned out to be - I used to be of the opinion that "Smart" features are just a gimmick. But it does really make your life easier if you can fire up YouTube or Netflix instantly from your TV. The app interface is pretty well laid out too. The negatives: Sound quality - well, no surprise here - all slim HDTVs have awful sound quality. HDTVs speakers these days meant to do the job only temporarily - you should definitely buy speakers if you really want a good audio experience. If you live in a small apartment, you don't even need to spend a lot on speakers - You should just buy computer speakers (lots of good options under $50) - these are a great upgrade over your TVs speakers. The remote is another negative - its not ergonomically well designed. The button placement can be seriously improved and it's not as responsive as I would have liked it. But definitely, it's not a dealbreaker. The one really good feature on the remote is the dedicated Netflix button. Overall, an awesome purchase.

This is my second Vizio TV. We enjoy our 60" so much that we purchased this second 50" Vizio for another room. Consumer reports ranked Vizio highest in it's class of smart TV's. That is why we made the initial purchase of the 60". We could not be more pleased. Vizio TV's are simple to set up. The smart TV is very user friendly and when we needed to connect with Vizio customer service, we were very pleasantly surprised to find that the tecks that helped us with whatever issue we had were a JOY to work with! They are AMERICAN based so there is no need to struggle with foreign accents while discussing technical issues. The Tecks are good listeners, they are focused and they offer solutions that work. They are very pleased to work with you even for the slightest issue. The almost invisible frame 's on the Vizio's make the viewing screen much more enjoyable than other TV's with a larger frame. We had a small issue with the internet strength in the room the 50" is in although with the suggestion of the Vizio rep. to add an internet extender, the issue was total solved and all is working well now. Without the extender, the internet apps did not function. It added a bit to the cost although the functionality is now much greater as we choose an extender that provides 4 Ethernet plug ins so we have the option of adding additional boxes (XBox, CoStar, etc.) as we may choose and all the apps are working properly. When we are in the market for another TV, we will again select another Vizio. We also added Vizio's sound bar to the 50" that has added an additional dimension to the audio. Vizio is the BEST! Buy Vizio with confidence!

This TV gave me everything I wanted at a great price. Had it set-up, hooked up and connected to the internet in no time. Had it for a month now and so far, no problems. Just wish the remote was a little sturdier.

I've had mine for a little over a month. This set connected easily to my home wifi from upstairs and was a snap to tie into my netflix and amazon prime accounts. I even enjoy the yahoo fantasy football app tie in. The picture is really sharp when watching HD. It's serves as a spare set in the loft. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality as well, half the time I don't even bother turning on the attached stereo. Added plus was in addition to current audio outputs this set has old school rca jacks which made it easily compatible with my aged but still good Onkyo sterero. I've also got it tied in as a second monitor for a media server I set up. My original intent was to go for a Samsung or LG, but this was such a bargain that I had to take a flier on it. Glad I did!

I had read a lot of pre-release reviews of Vizio's refreshed E-series, which were great across the board. I stopped in BB after they were released, and they lived up to expectations. The picture, especially the black levels, are superior to TVs twice the price, including those of Vizio's higher-end M-series. Also, the inclusion of 4 HDMI ports and smart functionality is unheard of at this price point. The sound is sufficient for my living room, but others may want to get (or already have) a soundbar or home theatre system. Overall, I can't recommend the TV highly enough. If you can stop in and check it out, you should.

We bought the Vizio 50" E-Series even though this is a relatively new model which meant not many reviews available in the market and some reviews available on amazon. But we liked the screen size and the price of course, under $600 is pretty good for a 50" smart TV. At the time of buying and researching I only thought the this smart TV plays youtube/netflix through its inbuilt application. Although I had chromecast for casting through my mobile I was a touch dissappointed before buying that I would have to use the chromecast on a brand new smart TV for casting videos etc. As compared to samsung which has its own mobile app for pairing with the samsung smart TV. However after purchase, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the youtube app and the netflix app on your smart phone can cast to the vizio tv directly. Awesome!!! You can't beat the features with that price. Overall the picture quality, refresh rate, sound and internet connectivity are great and it works really well. Totally recommend buying this from best buy, you can go see the TV on display and decide for yourself in best buy. The best buy personnel would load the TV in your car. Another important point, I have a camry and was sceptical if the 50" would fit in my trunk or back seat. It fit comfortably!!

My old plasma Panasonic died on me right before I moved into my new home. Needed a new TV for the house but I wasn't going to break the bank. Started my search by visiting my local Best Buy and spoke to a few sales reps, which helped my decision making and guided me in the right direction. I then researched the TV's and looking at Open Box items. A TV that I was interested in became available via Open Box so I ran to the store, checked it out, and made my purchase. Couldn't be happier. Great picture, sound, accessories (apps), etc. Again, great TV for the price. Also, works very well with my PS4.

For the price of this TV is it a great buy if you're not looking to over spend on a TV. SMART TV and connects the internet just fine, easy to use the apps and 4 HDMI ports to connect all your electronics. Picture quality is not the best, but still displays a nice picture with a good output. Only had the TV a month so far, but I love it. Recommend it for anyone looking for a GOOD tv without breaking the bank!

I own 4 different sizes of this model series of Vizio. 55" 50" 42" and 39". All of my tvs are bought from best buy and all are great. Only downside at least with the 50" is that there is only one button on the tv to power on/off and change input but not change the volume. So do not lose the remote! Other than that tv is great. Price is lower than Samsung tvs but still good. I own a Samsung 3D TV and love it but for non-3D I'd go with Vizio

Got it for a matchprice from costco durn super bowl time at $509. Has all the ports that you will need including the the older audio a/v output, can custom the the input screen to what name you choose. Picture is amazing and sound is incredible. The smart tv section is so so but i have 3 other devices that are smart enabled so its kinda pointless to have(for me) but ill buy it again with no questions asked.

I bought this tv about 2 months ago and it has been great. It has a good picture and is easy to use and setup. The apps work good with a strong internet connection and I havent had any problems out of the tv at all yet so I think I made a good choice and if you're looking for a good 50' or 55' smart tv the vizio e series is for you.

Bought a 55 for son. When my 50 plasma died after 2 yrs. was no brainer to replace w/ a Vizio. I Chose same size - 50. Couldn't believe how light it was. For me , had enough inputs / outputs, analog or digital. Pic quality is very good. If in living room w/ a lot of light, need to darken room some. Very easy setup.

Picture is clear, menu is easy. Smart tv is awesome. Great buy.
