Television is an excellent value for the price. Picture quality is great, though it does require the viewer to be directly in front of the tv. It requires some adjustment to the factory settings. I went to Cnet and used other user's suggestions to adjust settings for an optimal picture quality. Sound is adequate but not spectacular. I am planning on a soundbar at some point. The smart TV apps work great, Netflix at the touch of a button. My only complaint would be about the remote. It is an extremely cheap and flimsy feeling remote that often requires several button pushes. I would have gladly paid a few dollars extra for a more substantial remote. I anticipate this remote not lasting very long. Otherwise, for the money, it would be hard to beat this TV when looking for a low cost smart TV.

Other than I wish I would have gone with a bigger screen for the room this TV is in, this Vizio is lovely. Great clarity and color. Love the Smart TV functions.

I was looking for a decent TV, nothing too expensive, and I didn't need a lot of features. I thought I'd try a Vizio after having back luck with the longevity of other major brands (LG, Samsung & JVC all lasted less than 4 years). I didn't really need a smart TV because I have an XBOX but I thought I'd try this Vizio because it seemed like it had a lot of features for the price. I did think that it would be nice to connect my smartphone to the TV to share pictures & videos, but sadly this TV doesn't let you do that, at least I couldn't figure out how. The picture quality was good, but it lacks some features I was looking for. Vizio claims this is a 120Hz TV, BUT there are no adjustments for this setting. You can't even turn the feature on or off, let alone make any adjustments to it. The setting doesn't even appear in the menu. Also this TV does not play movies in 24p mode, a mode which I like because it makes the movies seem more "real" in my opinion. So with these faults I returned the TV. If these features aren't important to you, then this TV would be a good value for you. I ended up paying a little more and purchasing the Sony 48" TV, and I love it.

The television is a good size, has a good quality picture, but my favorite feature is it's "Smart" capabilities. I love being able to directly access streaming programs, such as Netflix, directly on the TV without needing any additional devices (such as a gaming system or Roku). We are very happy with our purchase :-)

Already loving the wireless internet connectivity and being able to watch YouTube and use Facebook. Hating the remote, because that's the only way to input passwords, addresses, etc. The sales guy told me we would love the remote because it has a full Qwerty keyboard on the back to make this easier, which is NOT true. He must have been thinking of a different model. Great picture but sunlight glare affects the screen much more than it did with my previous plasma tv. Also enjoy having a 50" screen fit inside the wall unit where a 42" was the largest we could fit previously, mainly because the black screen surround is minimal.

This is my very first TV purchase and I am totally happy with it. Smart TV allows me to connect with online Netflix, and other online entertainments. The picture quality is great and the TV is easy to use.

We love our Vizio E series LED Smart tv. The back lighting is great from corner to corner with equal lighting. It was so easy to hook up various accessories like our DVD player. I would definitely recommend this for a great picture and easy setup.

I was surprised how good of a picture this Vizio TV provides. I have an Xbox One, PS4, cable, and an Intel Nuc with Ubuntu 14 04 connected to it. I use the PLEX and Netflix app from the VIZIO Yahoo App store. All four devices provides 1080p resolution. Ubuntu detected the Smart tv without any issues. My only concern is how light the remote is, and even with new batteries, there is a delay in response. The TV is very light--but the base for the TV is flimsy. The audio is decent but not the best. I would recommend connecting the TV to a swivel or wall mount and a sound bar to complement the audio. Other than the flimsy feel of the base, the latency of the remote and the tinny audio I definitely would recommend this product.

We were looking to replace a smaller TV, and noticed the "smart" TVs at the store. We had been streaming shows and movies on Roku. Not only is the picture clear and the sound good, but it is nice to have just one clicker for watching shows.

i was very impressed with the picture quality and also the size of the tv. The App Store was full of useable app. The reason for buying a smart tv is for the app the preloaded app were mostly all used by me on my first time watching the incredible television

I had it just few weeks. Nice, thin design comparing to other more expensive brands. No complains about picture quality. Great sound for my needs (bedroom set), and decent remote control interface, comparing to an older 19 inch Visio that I have been using in the kitchen. One thing that I didn't figure out yet, is why the tv turned off few times while I was watching the programming. Possibly interference from my neighbor's remote, maybe my fat fingers on the remote, or it could be a defect that will become more troubling with time. I guess, I wil find out with time. I wouldn't like to return it or go through repairs, as I really liked this set, in general.

I've been extremely pleased with the Vizio. I had initial problems with the wifi. It connected ok but throughput was less than 300k, even sitting right beside my router. I called Vizio and they told me it was a problem with my network even though it would stream successfully to my other smartphones, tablets, and a smart Blu-ray player. So I took it back to best buy within the 1st 15 days and they swapped it out with a new one. The new one gave me 3-5Mb speeds which were more in line with my network capability and I was streaming movies within minutes of hooking it up. Great TV, great price. Only problem I have is the small buttons and writing on the remote. My eyes would prefer them a little larger. But that's my problem, not the remotes. I will probably buy another Vizio the next time I'm looking to purchase another TV.

For the price it's hard to beat. The default picture settings were not perfect and needed to be adjusted. I looked online and found a few suggested setting, one I found was perfect! Really a nice TV, once set up properly.

This TV has great color. The picture is outstanding at home compared to in store display. Crisp and super sharp. The wifi works great and provides seamless streams of video from Netflix. For the price this TV rocks!

The tv has a great picture. It's extremely easy to set up. With step by step instructions on screen as soon as you turn on the t.v. Also being a smart tv is easy to use.

The picture is amazing, setup was easy and the smart tv function is the icing on the cake. This is by far the best tv you can get without spending an arm and a leg and almost any wall mount will work with it.

This is a great TV for the price. It's easy to set up and very dependable. I bought my first E-series Vizio over a year ago and loved it so much I bought a second.

Can't be beat for the price with the included options. Wifi, plenty of inputs, built-in apps (plus optional ones available for installation), and a good picture.

I'll start with the bad. The TV doesn't swivel. Didn't seem like a big deal at first, but I now realize how nice a swivel feature was on my old TV. The hardware connection between the TV and stand could be more robust. Remote is cheap. Biggest gripe: software needs to be updated out of the box. If you don't the TV will shut off from time to time on its own. Annoying. The good. Fantastic picture, thin bezel, game mode, lots of adjustments and highly rated on CNET which includes calibrations for optimal viewing. The best part: the price. I think this TV is one of the best in its price/screen size range. The gripes I had may not be a big deal for everyone. I'm happy with my purchase and I would recommend this TV to anyone else.
